in other news, today I bought new boots
#kind of a sustainability fail#they're from walmart#they're plastic not leather#they will eventually peel#but like#I have one pair of nice shoes that is suitable for winter#I thrifted them#they're peeling something awful#the sole is about to wear through and the heels go 'squish' when I walk#there truly is no ethical consumption I swear#these were relatively cheap and there's a good amount of actual sewing rather than gluing on them#I cannot afford shoes of any quality right now because I paid my school bill#but my friend got a matching pair!#it's so fun because she's a self-described Taylor Swift girlie#and I am a baby punk/alt kid#but this is the one point where our sense of style overlaps#anyway your honor I think they're neat#moss's musings
