i have to say the posts about 'artists NEED likes and reblogs :( theyll get discouraged from making art :(' are the least relatable thing to me personally. like if someone doesnt reblog my shit thats their prerogative and i need to deal w it

#this isnt just my 20 min shitposts that dont even have a background this is about 30 hour paintings that get awards at regional competitions #i understand why you would feel like this but just try and make something for yrself first #i posted like 3 of my projects from class in a row and i started really hating having to go through the analytics shitshow every time #i remember being up at night like dude what are you even saying. you didnt take painting to get 1k notes you did it to express yrself #and get a break from yr other classes which are all pretty stressful #these thoughts arent very organized but i dont really care yk
