-> while the boy known as tanjiro was quick to return to training, the other two took some further convincing

-> you weren't sure what to think of them

-> you had only met one of them previously when selecting the ore for your sword, and he went by the name of zenitsu

-> your first impression of him was not particularly positive, since he was on the verge of tears and wishing to go home the entire time

-> his feelings were understandable, considering that he didn't even want to be a demon slayer in the first place

-> however, you discovered another aspect of his personality when partnered with him for sparring that had you wrinkling your brow in disgust

-> you see, zenitsu had this slight tendency to break the ice with any person he meets by asking them to marry him

-> ask would be too kind of a word, not when the boy all but dropped to his feet and begged you

-> no matter your urgent shushes, he would only plead harder

-> it ended up with you delivering a swift kick to his chest, sending him flying back a metre or so

-> "why don't you defeat me first, then we'll talk?"

-> and would you look at that, you've got a sparring partner for life

-> as far as recovery went, zenitsu was doing well

-> you were a bit ashamed to only see him as a wimp and a crybaby at the beginning, because once he really settled into fighting, he was good

-> more often than not, you’d struggle to fend off his attacks

-> but that just meant he was healing, right?

-> maybe it was the raw determination on his face to sweep your legs out from under you that had you feeling flustered at times

-> or the way that he was actually respectful once he had calmed down

-> either way, you had far from forgotten what just seemed like throwaway words that day

-> and honestly? going a little easy on zenitsu was looking more and more appealing

-> though you doubted that you would need to to do that with the speed that zenitsu was regaining his skills

-> and so comes the fated day

-> maybe he woke up feeling extra powerful, because zenitsu was not letting up any time soon

-> your swords were practically locked together the entire time

-> you were quickly realising that your back was about to hit the wall, and zenitsu's attacks were still relentless

-> in fact, it was when you found your sword being ripped from your grasp by a clever disarm that you realised just how much zenitsu had recovered

-> and now you really were cornered

-> even though it was just blunt wood, the sword pressed to your chest was a clear indication of who had the upper hand right now

-> "so how about it, y/n?"

-> zenitsu had a small smile on his face, a blush adorning his cheeks as he recalled what you had said so many days ago

-> you flushed too, your head turning to the side

-> "baby steps, zen"

-> the boy perked up at that, a smile spreading across his face as he processed your words

i......don't really do angsty endings. like, most of my fics end with smooches and/or love confessions lmao, i don't like leaving things off sad, even if it starts depressing as hell.

that's a mean question lmao how dare you. i honestly don't know, i have a lot of wips and i want to finish all of them. i know i won't but there isn't one specifically that seems less likely than the others so idk

What are your writing strengths?

uhhhhh.....i mean i've been told that my characterization is good? like, ppl being able to picture the actual characters when they're reading n stuff, so that's nice. and i could write introspection forever, u don't even know man, i get in the zone. i love getting in a character's head and picking apart their emotional state

What are your writing weaknesses?

writing dialogue really trips me up because i get picky about word choice lmao. i can be writing uninterrupted for twenty minutes cuz it's all a character's inner monologue but the second they gotta speak out loud im sittin there like ok what words sound natural and how much would they be willing to say etc. etc. suddenly it's an hour later and i've written three lines of dialogue. plus i tend to edit as i go so i'm always stopping and going back and rewriting stuff instead of just finishing the damn story

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

Before I start posting screenshots and reblogging fan art lemme share my thoughts on season 5 cuz I needa sort this all out in my head

(spoilers under the cut)

- I’m so relieved Pidge and Matt FINALLY found their dad...it was so touching when they reunited.

- I freaking love everyone so much. I freaking LOVE Pidge. Freaking Matt. I love LANCE SO FUCKING mUcH you DON’T UNDERSTAND. Hunk is adorable and pure as always. Keef?????? My beautiful emo gay son. I love him. Shiro?? Well he’s a fake bich but we’ll get to that

- Speaking of Keith. As I feared, there wasn’t much of him. But we found out who his mom is. I freaking CALLED it. The second I saw her I was like hey, she kinda looks like Keith with the hair. I have a feeling they’re gonna be related, either a sister or his mom. And guess what the DIDDLY WACK happened.

- I so desperately want these few things. These are all I ask:

- Pidge and Matt finding their dad. (Check.)

- Finding out how Keith and Shiro are connected cuz come on. There’s something going on there. Brothers??? Who knows. (Not check. Didn’t find out about that). ADDRESSING THE FACT SHIRO IS PROBLY A CLONE (freaking CHECK BITCH!! kind of. it’ll be continued in the next season).

- Lotor interacting face-to-face with everyone, especially Keith (bc I wanna see them connect over being part galra), and Lance (cuz I wanna see Lance pick a fight with him and have Lotor just be amused and tease him). (Kind of.....check....ish. Lotor didn’t interact with Keith at all. :( He interacted with Lance a bit but not to the extent I wanted. And I feel like everyone’s so serious. I wanted to see more sides to Lotor.)

- And lastly, I wanted more moments between Lance and Keith.....and most of all I wanted Keith back in team Voltron. But no. This is such a freaking Lance/Keith drought y’all idk if I can take much more of it.

- Ok that’s the end of the list ^ lemme talk about Lotor and Allura now.

- I don’t rly want to ship them.......but their dynamic is one of my greatest weaknesses. Time and time again I fall for this freaking kind of ship where there’s a bad boy and good girl and enemies to lovers and all that shit. So this is kinda killing me rn lmao. Like I don’t /want/ to ship it......but I kinda do....against my will?? I hate to admit it cuz they genuinely have good chemistry........sigh. The reason I’m so conflicted is cuz for one, I headcanon Lotor as gay...but I can also see him as being pan, so I guess that’s not the real reason. Another thing is I always wanted to see Lotor flirt with Lance cuz I’m secretly Lancelot trash lmao. Also I kinda like the idea of him and Keith...altho ofc I’m a K//l///ance shipper at heart (putting dashes cuz I don’t want this post in the tag).

- Anyway, I really wish there were more of Keith, I miss him so much. It’s killing me. But I’m satisfied with how much Lotor we got, cuz I freaking love that purple bich. I really enjoyed seeing him get along with everyone and I know he’ll probly betray them at some point.........but either way I love him so much. We got to know him better as a character, which I’m excited about. He’s one of my top faves at this point. Do I stan????????????

- Back to that Fake-Ass Motherfucker of a Bitch Shiro. He made my son sad. I was like this......is a sign. The real Shiro.....would not. Also where is his fuckin emotion. He’s so devoid of it. And I’m missing Sha///llura.....hardly any moments for them. He doesn’t interact with her the way he used to....or is that just me. Idk man I just always had a feeling. Anyway I’m slightly?? annoyed with how slow the pace is but at the same time I’m glad they’re not rushing. I look forward to season 6 when we’ll FINALLY get this Shiro business over with like I JUST WANT THE REAL SHIRO BACK ALREADY PLS
