There are defined & legitimised theories to systematically learn the process of creating every art, and there are also gut-driven ways to flub the process to create that art freely. Every art has both. Neither is superior and both need to exist. Every creator is on that spectrum

#a creator without a good gasp of theory and 'the basics' might be held back by that from some perspective of objective quality #but does it matter for real if they don't percieve that as a flaw and aren't looking to rectify it #likewise do people need to be freer and more experimental and to 'do bad art' if that process doesn't benefit them the way it might others #are people looking for a tried n true education on how to do an art form really soulless or are they just different to u #u know what i mean?#these resources are good n useful n should exist but they're not mandatory and not everything. & they shouldn't act as a barrier of entry
