In your bid to provide "evidence" supporting your pre-determination that a certain white male character is "fruity," I do fear that you've reinforced homophobic stereotypes and heteropatriarchal gender norms.

I've enjoyed the process of perceiving queerness in the character OP is referring to, and I've enjoyed the joy when canon proved them to be queer but this is such an important reminder about how the politics of desirability work in queer fandom spaces.
When we as queer fans put on our slash goggles, who do we pay attention to, and who do we overlook? When reading queerness becomes a way of building parasocial intimacy, who are we rebuffing?
To paraphrase Flavia Dzodan, my slash lens must intersectional or it will be bullshit.
