PART ONE OF MANY, where i take songs that i am so normal about(im not normal about them) and explain why it fits one of my ocs/a situation theyve gone through

FIRST UP, probably my oldest character, and the one whos gone through the most design changes(praying for her)

firstly, this WHOLE PART

despite seeming like one of, if not the most serious being in her friend group, shes the most scared. shes learned to fear everything by her ex-husband. shes slowly getting over it, but its a bit harder since she feels like she has to hide everything to keep her 'calm, cold, serious' demeanor up and running.

but, once she runs into her future wife Roullie, she has to change herself greatly to be ready for a relationship. firstly, she experiences a new fear, the person she loves so much resenting, hating, or just overall rejecting her. its unnatural for her, she doesnt exactly like the fact shes experiencing it. and in the very beginning when she did try to ask Roullie out, she was rejected. many times. so, she had to figure out a way to tell herself its okay to be rejected, and if all else fails, she can find someone else. but, her crush cant seems to leave her mind.

this part now!!

once she finally ends up in the relationship with Roullie, more anxiety sets in that shes not going to be a good partner, because she has little to no relationship experience. so, in the beginning, she did mess up. a LOT, her mind tried to self-sabotage everything, resulting in her almost pushing Roullie and even her friends away entirely. but, eventually she got used to the idea of being with her girlfriend, and got better. her fears and anxieties were still very much there, and she still showed said anxieties, but less often and she was able to cope with it better.

last part!!!

after a situation including Lilith getting revived, reliving all of those memories, and getting told down by Lilith a LOT, she lost hold of those coping mechanisms and went back into her anxiety-riddled state, and was almost always asking for reassurance by Roullie. but, Roullie this time and by this point, was able to understand Gia's fears and anxieties, and was able to help Gia to help her get better, so Gia wasnt in that dark state for as long.

and finally, during their wedding, during Gias vows, she talked about how she struggled to put the words together for the vows, but how she was so grateful for Roullie, and helping her understand that its okay to be scared, and its also okay to love people, and how shes able to trust just a little bit easier. she can finally love Roullie, and enjoy her friends with little to no anxiety now. she still has her moments, everyone does, but they get shut out quicker with her support group now.

as for the drawings maybe i'll post some someday somehow someway......i'll definitely post some art but yeah for now you get inordinately beautiful AI generated humans

also i just wanna say these are just my main four right now but i have a constant rotation of OCs in my head. i spin them like rotisserie chickens on a metal rod. there's Gretchen, Emma, Nina, Dawn, Franky, Lanelle, Felix, etc etc liiiiike.....but you get these motherfuckers for now

sooooo we got Ren, who's the most accurate one. Ren looks exactly like this except maybe a little more elven. like pointier. but you get it. he's clearly serving cunt here

then we got Percy which is like..... i would say this is the closest i was able to get with this shit. he resembles a deer, in my head. just big watery eyes and a small mouth with a perpetual worried crease to his forehead. he needs to look even more concerned than he does here fr. like theres an impending doom to Percy's personality that i just couldnt quite grasp with a fake human face

then we have Jeff and Lotus, which are my oldest OCs. ive had them since i was like, ten? and theyve morphed so much through the years its crazy. Lotus used to be a straight cis man. now he's a transsexual faggot like me. his faceclaim before was Michael Pitt specifically from The Dreamers and Jeff was Louis Garrel for the longest time. that was in highschool.

but theyve changed a lot. Jeff changed ethnicities like 3 times. he was quebecois, arab then jewish and now, in the storyline ive put them both in together, he's just a good ol midwestern boy from Indiana

this is Jeff, always dark features and good hair. he's the character with the most lore but his smug ass face has never changed lol

and Lotus my baby demon angel. he's everything to me like....dont even look at him.

this shit is sort of really embarrassing for me but i have to shoot the part of me that cringes in the fuckin forehead so here's them and i love you whoever you are

when are your different ocs from? as in, when did you make them? for the older ones, how much have they changed (in design or personality or whatever) since you first thought of them? n good luck on your tests!

under the cut cuz i ramble a bit, i think

ive been making ocs for as long as ive been alive, i think. but if your talkin ones that are actually cohesive that i still use, the oldest are moxie  and dev and his crew. i made them about 6th grade ish. and then 7th/8th grade was sri/khoshy/jay/the rest of the CA cast. 

ive got about 500 ocs give or take now so im not going to carbon-date all of them, just gonna focus on those dudes.

as for how theyve changed, i think dev is the most obvious. i even have a handy dandy chart i made a while ago. if your wondering why the most recent picture is old its bc i havent drawn him in a while. ill fix that soon but his design hasnt changed much since then

personality wise, he hasnt really changed one way or another, hes still got the same general vibe of nice flirty dumb idiot. he was like The Original Himbo OC lmao. hes expanded, definitely, but i mean you cant really have an oc for ~8 years and have them not be super duper developed. 

moxie... well shes been through a lot and kind of split here and there, but her overall design actually hasnt changed much since i made it in 6th grade. though mox, a split off from her, did have some design changes, but thats getting into my Persona Line Of Sucession and thats like, complicated, and what does and does not qualify for an oc in that line is very complicated. so moving on.

khoshy went through a bunch of design changes where like, the general basis of his design stayed the same, but i could not for the life of me figure out what hairstyle i wanted him to have. i finally figured it out about a year ago and ive kept it ever since. seriously like khoshys hair plagued me for years. iti was just all over the damn place. i stopped what i was doing and threw together this chart out of pain

and again personality wise those ocs havent changed much! my ocs tend less to change in personality then they do to simply develop along the same lines. like when i make a character i have the basic idea of their personality, some likes dislikes etc and those just tend to stay the same, they just get more detailed and deeper as time goes on. ive only had a couple ocs change on me, and they were either lying to me in the first place(@sketchers), they didnt really have a core personality in the first place so i tossed stuff at them until something stuck(@galileo), or i ended up repurposing them to fit a different niche in a story/splitting them into multiple characters/completely overhauling them(profit, vee, glowstick maybe?)

and shit i just realized cj/kyo and the 2am crew also dates to around this time period but whew. i think ive talked enough lmao. i ramble a lot on these open ended questions cuz i got a Lot of ocs
