somebody needs to reset the oscars because why are two films that used AI to “enhance” the performance receiving some of the most nominations. how embarrassing that your whole industry went on strikes and pleaded about regulating AI use, just for the brutalist and emilia perez not only get away with it, but to then be rewarded for it. remind me, when were supposedly the “most prestigious awards” bought out.
