I seriously thought tumblr was bad with the nonexistent media literacy and horrible takes.

Then I went on TikTok and saw a post where the op says “Vitya” is inferior in fics because it’s Russian or something . The comments are complaining and saying that changing viktors hc ethnicity and language from Czech to anything else in Eastern Europe is comparable to making canonically black characters white.

Seriously the brain rot is so bad, this fandom has plummeted with season 2, Harry Lloyd himself said it wasn’t an authentic Czech accent and he changed it up with how he felt in the moment 💀
