because my slendermansion au is based off a 6 year long crack rp i have a bunch of unnecessary fun/canon facts that i can share such as

toby masky and hoodie make random installations in the mansion that just don't work

such as elevators that always get stuck. vending machines that rob people. and a really annoying AI that wakes everyone up at 5 am.

nina introduced toby to tumble, which led to toby begging masky and hoodie to start a tumble blog and podcast

their tumble followers all think they're cosplayers for some reason so when they find proxies in public they'll ask to take pictures

splendorman and zalgo have a 300+ day streak on snapchat after they met in china (it was a mansion vacation, but splendor invited zalgo because he thought zalgo and slender were bestfriends)

kate literally ate chandler from mr beast after mr beast invited the proxies to film a video with them on an abandoned island

they're in the process of building Toronto's First Indoor Disneyland but slenderman won't fund it so they have to do fundraisers

also the prime minister of toronto is dead. i don't know why? he died of natural causes completely unrelated to the creepypastas

they stole the giant sphere from las vegas and it's now kept in the mansion's backyard

sally and lazari made jason the toymaker act as willy wonka so they could open a chocolate factory event in the mansion (they told him he would get 10,000 for acting) (it was a scam)

nick vanill and toby build a giant skatepark in the woods with the help of subway worker bradley (homeless guy from the street)

ben drowned falls in the courtyard's well

also ben is the mansion's president and sally's the vice president. their campaign opponents were toby/masky and zero/laughing jack. the only thing ben has done as president is kick out the puppeteer.

SLENDERMAN

he almost has a sixth sense when it comes to you, so its likely that he knows youre hurt before you do... though to be fair, with how long it takes you to notice that isnt... very impressive/lh

he does not wait for you to actually notice the damage, he goes into caregiver mode- taking you to clean the wound if its open and wrapping it if needed

does not have any answers for why you dont notice the pain at first but thats mostly because hes not skilled or educated in that sort of thing- you can only learn so much by observing others from far away and living in the woods

TICCI TOBY

you both passively lean into one another to keep track of the others wounds; you dont notice yours for a while, and neither does toby- though your scenarios arent exactly the same, you help each other take care of any nasty wounds that could get nastier if left untreated

in a way he finds himself relating to you on some level, because even temporarily you dont feel pain- you both may end up talking about your experiences

that being said, the two of you may not take cuts and bruises as seriously as you should because "well i can still function/i didnt notice the pain before- so its fine!" mentality, its... not the best way to go about things...

EYELESS JACK

headcanon that he was into medical stuff before getting all goopy and cannibalistic, so even if he doesnt immediately know whats going on he can cook up some theories-

that being said hes going to get onto you for leaving wounds uncleaned and uncovered, and will make it a habit to check over you every now and then to make sure youre not hurt... looks in places that are hard to look (back, neck, stuff like that)

always keeps a pack of Band-Aids/bandages on him at all times for general use, keeps other stuff at his place for worse injuries- disinfectants and needles to stich things up- hopefully it wont ever have to come to that, though

JANE THE KILLER

if youre the type to joke about your wounds to make the atmosphere lighter, its not going to work on jane... not because shes worried (okay... she is....) but because shes just.. not amused by that sort of humor

like jack, shes going to be stern and make sure youre taking better care of yourself and taking the time to look over yourself, as well as teaching you basic first aid if you've decided to skip over that

does not try to control you, shes not going to stop you from getting into a fight or doing something a little risky (within reason, if the situation seems too.. intense... itd be different), because even despite your little... situation... she has enough trust in you not to get mortally wounded

anyway, basically hylian courting is a lot shorter, think “lesbians with the uhaul” type of energy, like sort of the classical medieval “does thee wish to pursue marriage with this one?” ← how hylians ask u out for the first time lmao

if it helps, they do tend to get to know one another well, talking about morals/kids/life goals/preferred lifestyle/house/etc. pretty clearly and quickly, then using the in between time to sort of stew on that information

id say the total time is sort of something like 6 months? maybe 3/4 if they're really compatible

(so bc i love interpreting video game logic for real world building, I actually blame this on how fast Zelda/link get together in games despite having sometimes never met before that moment lol)

like i said, ill be posting about this later

pretty basic, just saying we don't really see hylians in big groups, despite the organizations they form, like kingdoms/knights or on a more personal level, towns/families/etc.

(once again, in-game appearances/video game logic translated to real life to draw these conclusions)

like not only are family units pretty small, like nuclear family setup, with like 2 parents and 2 kids, or single parent 1 kid type of situation, but the towns or collections of these families arent very big either

hylians kind of use their government the way it was intended lmao?

like the villages and towns matter more for everyday decisions than the kingdom/royalty, like Zelda would esstientally just be the mayor of Castle Town for those constant decisions,

while occasionally is called on to make decisions like for several towns or like is a natural disaster happens

meanwhile humans are, in comparison, in Way Bigger groups, both on an organization scale, and a personal scale

like u have all these specific branches of government, whereas im sure the population difference doesn't help,

and on a personal level, humans can easily have like multiple parents, lots of siblings, and once u combine that with each parent having family too, and those families like to meet up? All together??

yeah, itd look insane to any hylians (who’s smaller extended family may just make up their own village and that's it)

3. I've touched on this

like the use of spices, syrups, seasonings, etc

but also the complexity of dishes too, like chilling cream and mixing it for awhile to make ice cream, or even just getting ordering a pizza,

that's a lot of processing, like making the dough from flour and other ingredients, to letting it rise, to making the tomato paste, making cheese, then combining those things with any other toppings, all into one dish??

i like to think that hylians have only just started to touch on actual complicated cooking processes (as in BOTW, where they sell flour and salt, so people besides Link/Wild must know what to do with it)

this has the advantage of impressing any hylian with what a “creative genius” you are lol

4. look im just a fan of medieval time periods Links

so i think its funny if the hylians are used to like 4/3 layers and ur over here like, “wym, if i take off my shirt there's nothing underneath?”

one of them gets bold enough to ask, “d-do you not. do you not have undergarments??”

also this makes its easy to seduce people here? LMAO

clothes are def higher quality, after all there's not as many artificial processes or materials interfering,

plus u usually get some sick embroidery on it too!!

5. so like i get it, Link is the main fighter in games

but like, the few times there is a war/army in loz games, there's rlly not a lot of strategy, beyond just finding the enemy and fighting

tho im partial to that hylians/most inhabitants of Hyrule abide by the “lets meet up either literally by inviting each other or just between our territories to fight”

with occasional guerilla warfare (by any means necessary/stealth/ambush attacks/strategy) that's only rlly used either by Demise/Ganon, or by the wilder individuals/races in games

or maybe even the more civilized fighters in an emergency

and so that means by this logic that all of the Chain use kind of wild techniques compared to their race/kingdom lmao

id imagine its not too surprising to also see “every fight is a bar fight if its for my life” from individual travelers, so im sure they're not viewed too crazy (esp when ppl know their the hero that constantly has to deal with guerilla warfare from Ganon)

but its be hilarious to watch the reactions of both the Links realizing they’re in a bigger group that should be using “proper” fighting strategies and seeing the general publics reaction to this absolutely feral, armed to the teeth, trained hylians with their equally wild human lol

LMAO everyone thinks ur the reason they started using the more brutal fighting methods bc ur human, ur a bad influence lol

(humans would use it primarily, esp after we converted to use that method in warfare a couple hundred years ago i think?)

changing course a bit, hylians tend to use weapons (to compensate for difference in strength compared to humans, and since they don't experience/get a lesser version of adrenaline)

while humans tend to equally rely on weapons and our body as a weapon (marital arts/basic self-defense)

6. this is mostly bc the hylians only rlly seem to have the basics of music, books/stories, theater, and art

i have, surprise surprise, another post abt how i think this came to be,

mostly based on how human curiosity is indomitable and insatiable and the endless force that has not yet met its immovable object.

or at least an immovable object they haven't at least poked a little, out of curiosity lol

like we went to space for that reason, we reach the most dangerous corners of our planet (deep underwater/volcanoes) out of sheer curiousity/for the sake of simple knowledge of the thing

so needless to say, curiosity can absolutely drive any field to its limits, including the arts, which is why we can have stained glass, or movies/tv shows, hell, the marvel that is Hatsune Miku lmao

(fully for entertainment, a projection of light and sound, what is essentially magical illusions but u did it hte hard way, to the hylians)

on a different entertainment related note, i don't know if the hylians would be super into sports, or not really at all? mostly bc they have to use their fighting/training against real threats, not the sort of “fake” threats that sports are

but on the other hand i could see people like knights wanting to use their abilities for something other than violence and fighting bc their life or their villages lives depended on it

bet the Links would enjoy it for those reasons especially, what with at least sumo wrestling being a sport or activity for them at some point in history, and practically beg u for any new games to play, or to ref their games, bc whewwww

im sure they could get pretty competitive lol

7. obviously, their mostly influenced by the Japanese language

id almost like to imagine a sort of, if not outright Japanese (like with earlier heroes like Sky) then a sort of English-Japanese hybrid further along the line

sort of like how English has German/Greek/Latin roots and therefore u can see what words or structure comes from where, or even how u can understand a fair amount of basic words when other languages share the same roots (english, pants = spanish, pantalones)

would make for some funny miscommunications

or even better, most hylians liking ur unique accent or the Links love to hear u talk bc of it lol

How Mikey Loves and Proposes

Okay so some of my headcanons for him align with my beliefs however I am very particular about characterisation so I'm gonna keep it balanced.

Genuinely i think Mikey does not need the paperwork, the title or official testimonies to consider himself your husband. Once he has sort of outgrown 'boyfriend', like maybe he's in his mid to late 20s, he wants a new title because boyfriend was very highschool.

Imagine every single thing a couple could be, it has been done. Shared apartments, pets, joint bank accounts. I genuinely think because of how devoted Mikey is with his people, he would be just as devoted to his partner.

He is a people person, he finds his people and he keeps them close to his chest no matter what happens. He has forgiven his people for the unforgiveable. Very very ride or die type of person. So out of everyone, he is devoted and loyal.

I will say, in cases of fucked up timelines...chances are he would either keep you at an arm's length, push you away and disappear or just be cold. He does this because he considers himself a danger. I don't care if he has hurt his friends, I dont care about dark impulses, that man would never lay a hand on you. Dark impulses are strong, his love for you is stronger.

If he does run away, he will never look at another person ever again. Loyal as fuck.

But we are talking about final timeline so LETS GO.

At some point, he just wants matching wedding rings, he just wants people to look at you and then look at your left ring finger and be like 'oh fuck, they're taken'. You're already his, ya'll probably have matching bracelets or necklaces that he bought with his very first paycheck. But he really craves that moment where you call him 'husband'.

He probably felt connected to you in an everlasting sense from the moment ya'll started dating. This commitment was from the soul from the get go.

So why does it take like 6 to 7 years into the relationship to get married? Firstly I just have a general rule that marriage should come after 5 years minimum because it's paperwork and a big process. You can disagree and just add in your own minimum but again...adding that no matter what, ya'll live together, wake up every morning together, build a future together. At some point, you guys are too busy getting jobs, being adults and hanging out with friends to be like 'ooooo marriage'.

How does Mikey propose?

i think it was spur of the moment, maybe it hit him that OH ya'll arent married and suddenly he has the urge to say it.

And one night, it's 2am and you wanna go on a night ride and he never says no to you so he wraps you in one of his jackets and both of you head on a ride.

And it's peaceful and maybe Mikey is having a moment where he's like 'I have died, been reborn and saved multiple times for this moment. I am meant to be alive so I could be with my person. I'm very happy I am alive.'

And he's blinking back tears, stopping close to a convenience store..using snacks as an excuse to stop.

And while he's walking through the place, grabbing his usuals and your favourites...maybe it's the fluorescent lighting or the way you're picking out the drinks, maybe it's because how you look in his clothes or because it's late and you're here with him getting snacks, maybe he is sleepy and warm that he says:

"I wanna be your husband."

And the place is too quiet to not hear it, the cashier is like 'what the fuck dude, you're gonna get smacked for proposing like that' but you look at him and his teary eyes and lovesick smile and you're just speechless. But you move forward to hold him, he wraps his arms around you and presses you close to him. It's warm and engulfing.

And maybe you give an excited 'yes' or maybe you make a joke about where your ring is or maybe it's a soft whisper of an answer...in any case....the answer had been given way before he had even asked it.

I just want to make sure you get what you were looking for :) This is my first time writing angst without comfort, and tbh I haven't even really written angst aha.. These all feel a little wordy, especially Simeon's, but I hope you enjoy! This one kind of escaped me 😬 they're not very headcanon-like lol

Diavolo

You both should have known better from the start, but as they say, love is blind, and it certainly seemed to give you both blinders to the fate of your relationship.

The topic of the future of your relationship was not something you had discussed in detail with each other... or at all, really. One moment, you were the human world representative and he the Prince of the Devildom. And the next, he'd taken you on as his precious lover.

Sure, you'd had a small discussion of logistics regarding marriage with the brothers at one point, each of them expressing their desire to marry you and bring you into the family. Even Solomon had joined in on the discussion, clearly having fun regarding this debate topic and the advantage he'd have as a fellow human. Eventually, you all had come to the conclusion that, at this point in time, marriage wasn't yet feasible due to the newness of human and demon collaboration.

It wasn't that you two didn't understand this conclusion; after all, it was Diavolo that had pointed this out to the others. But perhaps in your eagerness to explore these feelings, it made you two ignore all the other details regarding this issue. That not only was a relationship between a human and a demon not viewed positively by most demons, but you were also dating their ruler, someone that lived by a completely different set of rules from others. Someone with expectations and priorities to meet, plus the possibility of needing the Demon King's approval as well.

And so, it should have only been natural and understandable what happened next, but the pain of it would still stay with you both forevermore.

"You're leaving, aren't you?" were the words Dia uttered to you one night while holding each other close. You hadn't yet mentioned your concerns to him, in fact you hadn't even finalized your decision on what you were going to do about it. But somehow, he still knew. Both of you sensed where things were going, even though you didn't want to admit it. You couldn't answer him that night, but you knew you'd have to eventually.

It was you that walked away first.

Maybe the honeymoon period of the relationship had worn off, or perhaps it finally hit you about the strange and even nasty looks other demons gave you when they saw you and Diavolo together. The whispers carried to both your and Diavolo's ears about the people's opinions. You didn't want to run away from the issue. But at one point, you realized that this wasn't something you two were meant to force.

Relations between humans and demons would grow eventually, if the exchange program and improved education had anything to do with it. But that change was still a long way off, and you owed it to yourself but also the ruler of the Devildom to cut things now, before any long-lasting damage was done.

You quickly and quietly sorted out a return to the Human World. It wasn't without protest from multiple parties, and surprisingly even Lucifer could not agree with your decision right away. But eventually everyone folded. You hadn't needed to mention your decision to Diavolo, either. He never questioned you again after that night, seemingly coming to a mutual understanding, and he permitted the portal entry without a word, seeing you off with some simple words of farewell.

Everyone else was uncomfortable with the situation but knew there wasn't much they could do to change your mind. They continued to visit you on rare occasion in the human world over time, providing their emotional support and distracting with silly antics. But no one could ignore the palpable tension in the air when you eventually decided to marry and Diavolo arrived to give his best wishes, a smile on his face but not in his eyes.

All you could do was remind yourself that you did what had to be done.

Barbatos

Catching feelings was never on Barbatos' agenda. Not that he was some cold, unfeeling robot, incapable of emotions. But he'd spent so many years at Diavolo's side, essentially "tamed" after all that time, always busy attending to the needs of the kingdom and the Prince, he didn't have time to entertain the thought of a relationship.

But upon you entering his life, his concept of his wants and needs completely flipped upside down. You did have to fight hard for his affections to start, but once he came to terms with how he felt, it was like something switched in him and the floodgates opened.

What was initially a business-like and cold demeanor, melted into a warm sweetness and a surprisingly playful personality. He would invite you for tea and sweets made specifically for you, even making baking dates on occasion; he was much more open in his mannerisms and jokes, and others would find him talking about you during casual conversation.

Diavolo was delighted, of course. Barbatos was extremely good at hiding his emotions, but his employer knew him long enough to see through it all. He loved witnessing his hard-working butler practically lovesick, his eyes always coming back to look at you during your visits to the castle, lingering a moment longer than usual during your meetings. Everyone else was just astonished by the effect you had on this stoic butler, and how you managed to bring out this seemingly new side to him.

However, the joy was not to last. Although your interactions were often limited to just within the castle, your few interactions in R.A.D. managed to catch the attention of a few students, leading to gossip and rumors about the strange influence of the human world exchange student.

At first it was just jokes regarding your ability to wrangle so many demons under your belt. But as time went on, the gossip became vicious, accusing you of purposefully trying to influence the Prince and interfere in Devildom matters. After all, if even you could get to the heart of the Prince's right hand man, what could stop you from getting involved with the Prince himself? Some commoner nobody that had no business getting involved?

Diavolo had warned before that the relationship between demons and humans was still a rocky one, but perhaps you hadn't fully understood the consequences when you chose to pursue Barbatos. And even Barbatos was guilty of wearing rose colored glasses as he came to know you and fall for you.

As the rumors only worsened, you both knew something would need to change, but perhaps you were a little more idealistic in your options than your lover, hoping for a choice that would please everyone.

But Barbatos had different priorities to consider, ones that were millenia in the making. And although he wanted to follow his heart, he yearned for it, his priority lay ultimately with the crown, and Barbatos was the first to walk away.

"You're leaving, aren't you?" you couldn't help but ask him finally. He had approached you at R.A.D. stating he needed to discuss an important matter with you, alone. You knew in your heart that if it was something school-related, he would make a formal meeting with the others involved. And the ever-spreading rumors regarding your "true intentions" certainly didn't bode well for a growing relationship, either.

Admittedly, your question threw him off, but the following silence was enough of an answer for you. In the end, your breakup was mutual, after he laid out his concerns and provided his evidence for his decision. But it didn't fix the gaping void left in both your hearts afterwards, and try as he might, the effect on Barbatos was clear as day. No one could find a way to refute your mutual decision, and you remained one of Barbatos' biggest regrets for all the wrong reasons.

Simeon

Falling in love with you is as unexpected for you as it is for Simeon. He convinced himself that he felt the same for all humans, including you, though he believed every human unique and a special individual. But every interaction with you had him falling further and further into the rabbit's hole well before he even knew what was happening.

By the time he understood his feelings, he was tightly wound around your little finger, always eager for your attention and your love, and you were happy to give it to him. And although the others, particularly the brothers, were a little upset about your choice in partner, they were still happy for you two and felt it was a sweet match.

That's why everything seemed picture perfect, to start. You two went on dates, learned more about each other's respective Worlds, baked together, and you encouraged his creativity in his writing. He helped you grow and learn, but it wasn't one-sided; Simeon definitely changed as well, becoming more open to his own feelings and desires. You two were the picture perfect couple, in everyone's eyes.

But something nagged at the back of your mind, your gut telling you that something wasn't quite right. You did your best to ignore it, though, as Simeon really did seem to be the ideal boyfriend, attentive to your wants and needs, thoughtful and considerate and the very definition of an angel. You did your best to reciprocate and things seemed to be going smoothly for a while.

It wasn't until you spotted a feather on Simeon's bed one day, pure white at the base but noticeably darkened at the tip with a black you could only attribute to Lucifer's wings, that you realized your hunch was correct. Something, someone was causing Simeon to fall. And you just knew that you were the cause.

You didn't want to jump to conclusions, but it was difficult bringing up the concept of a fallen angel without making it obvious you were concerned for Simeon. And little by little, your suspicions were confirmed as you witnessed his behavior changing, his sins floating up to the surface more and more often and the occasional fallen feather measuring how much further he'd fallen.

You weren't even sure how to bring it up to him. Sweet, smart Simeon would do his best to either rationalize what was happening, or even worse, try to put the blame on himself instead of you, and any debate with Simeon was difficult to win. Time and time again, you considered how to broach the subject, but in the end, you couldn't do it right. You could only hope that leaving him would correct things, save him from this devastating experience.

The distance between you two started to grow, slowly at first, but Simeon eventually noticed the way you were slipping from his grasp. It wasn't long before others began to catch on as well, particularly Lucifer and Luke, noting the awkward air that formed between the two former lovebirds. However, conversations trying to investigate died on their lips, unable to make you answer, and you had none to give them anyway.

Simeon did his best to try to repair what was breaking, but it only seemed to push you further away each time, leaving him utterly lost. At least if you yelled at him, screamed, even hit him, it would be better than the utter nothing he was left with. But you couldn't bring yourself to say the words you needed to, the true reason for why you were drifting from him.

Simeon knew something was wrong, but he feared your answer more than anything, or rather the rejection he knew was coming, so he did his best to pretend even though he knew that was wrong. The right thing would be to confront you, be open about his worries and his desires, ensure you know that he would never blame you for anything that would come of this relationship, but he seemed to lose his words when he saw you.

"You're leaving, aren't you?" was uttered through his lips finally, one evening, but they fell upon no one's ears but his own.

Eventually, you were the first to walk away. When you did finally voice your decision to end things, he knew it didn't make sense, but he respected your agency enough not to question your feelings. It wasn't until years later he discovered the truth of it, but he never blamed you for it, although his heart ached just a little bit more, never having forgotten your love.

Solomon

Solomon never intended to get this involved with you. He was simply intrigued by you, a human world exchange student that he later found out to be an incredibly powerful sorcerer that also managed to attract the attention of several high-ranking demons.

You were a fascinating person, a once-in-a-lifetime individual that he couldn't help but want to get to know better, to get closer to as time went on and be your guide. He couldn't help but be attracted to you, even more so than he thought, and that's what led to the greatest dilemma he's dealt with in ages.

Solomon avoided making close relationships with normal humans after repeat incidents of outliving them every single time. There was a reason he dealt with mostly demons and witches now, people that were a bit hardier that he wouldn't have to say goodbye to so soon.

But with you, he couldn't help himself. You were like a siren, calling him closer and closer with your sweet song, until he was totally ensnared. And it wasn't long before he realized what these feelings were, the tight feeling around his heart and the way his eyes could never leave you when you were in the room.

He knew he'd come to regret this, he always did, but his brain and his heart battled long and hard about how to deal with this. For a while, he let himself indulge in your presence, and the fantasy that he could have a normal life with you, move in together, get married, maybe found a new magical society together.

But as time passed, celebrating multiple birthdays together, and he started to notice physical signs of aging, gray showing in your hair roots and wrinkles developing at the corners of your eyes, it scared him about what was coming. Of course, he spent ages looking into ways to elongate a human's life, like what had happened to him. But he didn't even know how to broach that subject with you even if he had found a way.

What if you declined? Would you two try to settle for what time you had left, together, watching you slowly die as he remains unchanged? Could his heart even take that?

Or what if you accepted, but came to hate everlasting life like he did? What if you became immortal, but the never-ending years made the world bleak and gray for you, too? And you lost the light in your eyes? He would never forgive himself for that.

So he did the next best thing he could think of, and decided to not even give you the choice. Of course, it was easier said than done, but he couldn't figure out another way around it. He became more distant, less intimate with you, building up his walls again that you'd spent ages breaking down to begin with. At first you didn't quite catch on, but the more it happened, the more it dawned on you what was happening, although you couldn't place why.

"You're leaving, aren't you?"

He knew the question was coming, and he hated himself for how second-nature it was to feign a smile for you. You both knew the feelings you had for each other, but Solomon hid his worries and true reason for leaving in his heart, far away from you.

He was the one that stepped away.

He'll play it off as a loss of interest, that for an immortal like him, it was inevitable that he'd fall out of love at some point and to not take it personally. You knew this was bullshit, however, but couldn't find a way to get to the bottom of it. It was a very rough breakup, one that confused and saddened everyone else that had been watching you two get together, these two magical peas in a pod, inseparable and complementary to the other.

Asmodeus was ready to give Solomon hell for you, he was the most worried one of the bunch, and Barbatos knew too that something was off. But they couldn't do much as you refused. In the end, Solomon never confided his true reason for leaving, but you just knew it wasn't as cut and dry as he made it out to be.

favorite thing about them:

ok so legally i have to mention asuka's tekken 8 design because motherfucker WHAT were they thinking with that one. what the fuck was the inspiration. but i love it so much i cannot lie

other than that, i really enjoy her rivalry with lili and how moderately insane that bit has gotten, and i like how they've kept her a character who is a) defensively focused in her gameplay even among the generally aggressive play of t8, and b) has a generally down-to-earth feel to her despite. so i was actually talking to a friend about this recently and she explained my feelings really well, its like. asuka feels like the protagonist of another story that isnt being told.

it feels like she has so much stuff that COULD be a really interesting plot focus for her but it just. hasnt been? like everything between her and feng COULD be so neat but its just been sort of...by the wayside for the past few games in favor of keeping up with the mishimas (new sitcom there btw)

azul was a very prideful person and he always made sure of that. there should be no reason he was struggling to make any sort of eye contact, let alone maintain it, with jamil.

“what’s the matter with you?” jamil raised a brow, frowning.

“nothing, don’t fret over it,” azul averted his eyes, looking down at the tiled flooring. he had never had a problem with eye contact before— in fact, it had always come quite easily to him. it being an incredibly useful tool for intimidating others was the prime reason for that. but…

completely out of nowhere and out of character for jamil, he had complimented azul’s talents and to top it off, even smiled. and, really, how was azul meant to deal with that?!

“how are we meant to spar if you can’t even look me in the eyes?” jamil scoffed, annoyance in his gaze. his staring felt much more prominent than ever, almost burning through his body.

“it will be just fine. you worry far too much, jamil!” azul squinted, trying to meet jamil’s eyes. unluckily, the second he caught sight of his eyes, he whipped his head away, trying to will his blush away. crushes were seriously the worst.

“i am definitely not worried.” the scarabia vice-housewarden walked towards him, his steps clacking on the ground rhythmically. the other didn’t look up, not even when jamil was practically a foot away from him.

and then it happened. jamil grabbed his face, forcing azul to meet his gaze. azul couldn’t even attempt to hide the blossoming redness of his face as he let out a gasp. jamil narrowed his eyes, scrutinizing and azul felt himself shrink at his gaze.

jamil readjusted his hands, his slender fingers grazing under azul’s chin in a way that felt very, very ticklish. azul scrunched his neck, accidentally letting a giggle slip through his lips. the two froze. azul, out of of sheer embarrassment, and jamil, out of shock and confusion over what just happened. it didn’t take long for him to connect the dots because a sneer oddly reminiscent of a snake had appeared on his face.

“oh, i see,” jamil snickered, looking way too amused for azul’s liking. and this time, he curled in his fingers, tickling azul on purpose. azul bit his lip, wrinkling his nose as an unwilling smile wore on his face. azul wanted nothing more than to crawl into a dark hole and die. how humilating.

and when azul giggled again, he tried pushing away jamil, hiding his face with his hand under the guise of fixing his glasses. jamil didn’t fight him, choosing to laugh at his misery instead.

“nothing happened,” azul muttered, weakly, disappointed in himself for even allowing himself to get into this situation. in front of his crush, no less!

“nothing happened,” jamil started, sounding as though he was about to agree, but then a smug smile made its way onto his face again. “except i just saw you get flustered over some eye contact.. and not only that, but you’re ticklish. i have to say, it’s a real sight to see.”

was.. was that a compliment? azul shook his head. no, he definitely just wanted to see azul miserable.

“whatever,” azul forced himself to meet jamil’s eyes. “shall we spar now, instead of idling over pointless things?”

jamil chuckled at that, but he pulled his magic pen out of his pocket. azul breathed, pulling his pen out as well. he was definitely going to get the upper hand this time by winning the spar.

I really have nothing on the BoM & freedom fighters. I can't imagine the rebels even knowing about them pre-voltron era with how secretive they are. After S4? Fuck yeah. It would still likely be a sort of "we each do our own thing but if you guys need a hand we will give it to you" kind of partnership.

The Voltron Coalition consists of many different species. Most of them likely suffered under the Galra colonization. And I bet at least one third of them struggles to accept the BoMs as their allies.

Oh, and did we ever have a talk about BoM's beliefs and practices? All of them being exactly what the rebels are fighting against?

Yeah, there would be a lot of tension I imagine. ESPECIALLY with how I write Ozar as the one who would rather fail the mission than to lose another soldier. As opposed to BoM's "mission above all" rule.

there’s some sort of psychic connection or supernatural mysterious aspect. either their battle abilities are connected and/or something larger that actually impacts some routes

I think they probably are romanceable (or at least kako is, but this game absolutely seems comfortable putting takumi with men so far lol) and it’ll result in the one you don’t romance getting pissy and probably going off the rails

probably one route where they have a falling out. I feel like THL routes will depend a lot on like support points and deployment amounts. so maybe if you don’t have enough support with one of them, or don’t deploy them together enough, it would lead to that ending

kako is very anxious. based off almost every revealed image of her being like this even the box art:

ima obviously is a lot more flippant. I think he definitely takes care of her and is the big brother type

even if the ship is not canon, ima is absolutely a siscon. I think they’re twins, but there’s definitely going to be lots of “onii/imouto” stuff going on. honestly even if kako is the older one I feel like ima will consider her his baby sister

probably a route or two where they just are normal ass siblings and kako married the blue hair guy or something. BOOOOOORRRRRINNNNNGGGGGG

very codependent. kako is anxious and feels she needs ima as a protector. ima enjoys getting to feel important so he feeds into this and convinces kako she needs him to be safe

about kako I think her arc at least in some routes is gonna be a gaining confidence/independence one. I feel like she’ll learn to look after herself and others more and stop being dependent on ima. though maybe something happens to him and she has to be the caretaker.

ima is being advertised rn as the “oooo im kokichi let’s play devils advocate nishishishi” type guy BUT I feel like multiple characters are being advertised that way so I honestly do not know. I do think that ima is gonna be the one who inevitably ropes takumi into the “spy on the girls bathing” cutscene

even if they are not canon the ship will become popular. this is because it is being advertised to two groups of incest freaks: dangan fans (twincest) and fire emblem fans (strategy game incest)

ima has some sort of red/pinkish eyeshadow, while kako doesn’t. makes me imagine them doing each other’s makeup ala that one meme. Kako wanting to practice on him maybe or him wanting to see what she’d look like with some

• Philip Ojomo is 100% either autistic or neurodivergent in some form to me. In The Algebra Of Infinite Night, he just reads as so.. coded. ykwim?

• He definitely was trying to move on from his traumas when the Azarov incident happened. Especially with a semi recent skin stating that he cared for strays around the garage- bro was healing before Azarov destroyed him.

• Initially i was like ya he's scared of fire (i.e. his trauma), but, as even Hooked On You tries to portray, i think his relationship with it is complicated. It's all intended to allude to his inner turmoil and battle, his enraged side that takes over him despite his best efforts and despite him knowing he shouldn't act out- he can not help it, because what else is a broken man to do? An angry, broken child, even -- seeing as that's where it all began? And he ultimately ends up the ""same"" as the people who caused his agony to begin with

• That being said, i think he tends to be calm, peaceful until provoked - which the Entity plays upon. I believe that the beginning of each trial sort of sends even the most peaceful of killers into a blind rage, through the otherworldly supernatural power that is The Entity.

• I like to believe that if it was possible to roam the fog without losing your mind, and without being in a trial he would be very big on quietly observing -maybe wouldnt turn down a conversation or two, hehe

• Definitely friends with Claudette. Definitely gets along with Jake. im just saying their besties

i think it would be really interesting if the two of you were friendly with one another prior to him joining the hotel... i think you can see where im going with this-

you of course find out he was plotting to rat you all out to vox, and while some members of the hotel are quick to forgive (charlie), or simply dont care (husk), youre crushed. bonus points if youve already told him you wanted to go to the hotel to try to better yourself

to you it looks like he just... went and tried to ruin that for you, which in a way yeah thats what he did even if it wasnt a personal attack on you

it takes a while for you to trust him again, you dont just bounce back from that sort of thing..

he tries to get you to hear him out on his apology as well as leaving you small things he knows you like; treats, trinkets, stuff like that

its not until charlie says something that he gives you space

you can tell hes also crushed, and he blames no one but himself

funnily enough, i think if you did the same thing back it would break his trust too... at least after he commits himself to redeeming himself. that may make him a hypocrite, but in a way that adds to the hurt...

PROTECTIVE

likes having one of his egg boiz follow you around in case you need assistance, hes a lot more lax if nothing has happened to make him worry his head off for you

actually, he thinks youre quite strong! you have your strengths that can help you in a fight, or to avoid on... and he trusts you!

as mentioned in the I portion, hes going to be hovering around you after any incidents; you getting injured, robbed, snatched, or even killed (if youre a sinner and you were killed by normal hell circumstances), not only does he send his egg boiz with you but he might tag along with you if he can

if he cant i can easily see him passing you a weapon... please take it... for his peace of mind...

stays up at night blaming himself for not being there for you when you needed him.. he didnt want to seem clingy or controlling so he let you go out alone, and while yes he does still want you to have your freedom and space... hes scared that its going to happen again... what if something happens during an extermination?

for the first few weeks after any incidents he can be jumpy

INJURY

I WAS going to reference my I headcanon from the fluff alphabet but i realize... i skipped it! so... yeah!

i can imagine theres a difference between seeing you hurt but untreated, and seeing you hurt but treated... and since this prompt tackles the untreated version...

he probably tries to keep himself together as he tries to stop the bleeding, or trying to remove anything that may be lodged into your body...

but hes so very clearly putting on an act, hes so so scared of losing you

even if youre a sinner and youve just been attacked under normal circumstances, no angelic weapons, he still doesnt want to see you in this way.. especially if hes done his best to try to prevent you from getting hurt

the type to just his bare hands to try to stop the bleeding if theres nothing else to press to the wound, it just makes things worse because his hands keep slipping and harshly rubbing into the wound... his claws arent making anything any easier

likely loses himself at a point and just shuts down, he kind of goes into shock himself as he tries to save you- despite his best efforts to remain composed and to keep himself anchored to the moment his mind begins to slip

if youre a sinner and you regenerate, hes going to be lingering around you even closer than ever before. he refuses to let you leave his sight for a while

also boy do I have headcanons or just what I think could happen if they end up together (AND ALIVE?) so here we go

Warren's absolutely inept at cooking he Tries and he Knows how to survive on his own but he's more than happy to leave Gordon alone in the kitchen and let him work his magic (I also don't think Gordon's that good either but he's willing to try for warren)

Gordon sleeps with his socks on, Warren says it's stupid and Gordon pulls out his phone with that article saying it's easier to fall asleep with them on and they have a Debate abt it

also think both of them have a sweet tooth but Gordon's actually pathologic like three spoonfuls of sugar + milk into tea and Warren's like arent u afraid of losing your teeth and Gordon's like (girls who like sweets when they meet bitches that snort sugar)

Warren strikes me as a morning person or even if not necessarily loving waking up early he's like someone who once wakes up is Awake whereas Gordon's fully nonfuncional in the morning and Warren has to drag him around he pretends to hate it but he doesn't of course

i think neither Warren nor Gordon are Conventionally Pretty cos that's boring but Gordon was in a metal band he's since long embraced being a Freak while Warren's still self concious in the silent way but Gordon genuinely thinks he's the most handsome man alive like he's truly convinced Warren is this mythical relict that only the pure of heart can find and appreciate which makes Warren feel so embarrassed but after a while he embraces it and they become so obsessed with each other from an outside perspective it's frightening

idk why but it think they both try to become vegetarian for Waffles (it makes sense in my head) but they like full english breakfast too much so they Just can't it's funny to me ok

Warren says he was a punk (pointing at Gordon) just to see Gordon get red in the face and explain At Length just how much punk and metal are different genres because he was born in the eighties so He's like That and how while he can see the strength of certain messages conveyed through punk music it's just Not at all like metal where techinque and actual musical ability is valued but also he played bass so maybe he's more chill about it but he still wants to point it out ok he isn't Punk and Warren does it because he's insane about Gordon getting heated and at a certain point he just tunes him out it's like asmr to him

they both have Issues and so it takes them a while to get it together like Warren is in love but won't say anything because he thinks what they have is too good to ruin and Gordon still thinks Warren is Fragile and also possibly straight? but once they Do get it together they still don't define it because it's Too big and too personal to have a name like I am 100% serious when I'm saying that I think their relationship is Overwhelming in the most romanticly haunting sense but they balance it well it works with them exclusively

both of them are tactile people but Warren won't initiate any contact he's more like a dog that accepts pats but doesn't get up to search for them

Warren's a tidy person and Gordon's more "There's method to my madness" but he's an Archivist so he's got every important document cared for and has extremely good spacial memory i like to think that a few years down the line (in my universe where they are happy and live together) they become sort of telepathic and when Warren needs something he doesn't even have to ask he's just like "Have you seen the- and Gordon's there "Top right corner of the shelf in the bathroom" and they do this All the time

Make up any headcanons you want as long as they arent problematic [THIS INCLUDES CECIL x LUCIUS.] -Dr. Cecil uses He/Him but genuinely does not care if you use They/It for him. Doesn't like she/her though. Doesn't know what neo/xenopronouns are. -He's arospec. He is demiromantic and demisexual. It's rare he even gets close enough to feel some sort of interest in them, since he doesn't trust anyone, but it is [in theory] possible. -Has a fascination for mold. When he isnt testing on people with the Lifeless Plague, he examines mold. He has a few different rooms in his lab entirely dedicated to studying it and what happens when you mix two together. -He struggles severely to feel empathy or sympathy. Only ever feels it for people he's close to, and even then only a little bit. He's, by definition, a sociopath. -He has a sister, who he does care for a bit. Always annoyed by her and never visits, but she's the only person he willingly lets inside his house without a reason. -He's achillean. Just doesn't find much attraction towards feminine people. -He is 34 years old. -He always smells like metal and chemicals, no matter how many times he showers. He also sometimes smells like mold, due to how much he's around it. Whenever his sister visits, she brings some sort of air freshener. -Almost never shows affection in a normal way. But does things like, keeps his sister's spare room clean for whenever she visits, gives people old things he doesn't want anymore including leftovers. -He is only close with his sister. She's his younger twin and they grew up very close. He had his mold obsession since he was little, and his sister would give him old food to grow mold when their parents wouldn't.
