Psst I'm not saying Bond and Q (or Felix or Madeleine) should spend even more time looking at JMW Turner paintings but if they were to do so, you should know Turner has often explored Venice in his works.

And it is his small scale abstract drawings of the city that speak to me the most, just in case you wanted to use them as a setting or prop for conversations on love and nostalgia and grief:
