hey, sorry if this sounds stilly, but do you think you could do headcanons for Imhotep with a s/o that's insecure?

Imhotep x Insecure!Reader

Imhotep being so innately confident in himself means an insecure partner only inflates his ego.

Next to you he feels like a mountain, an unstoppable force, hopefully you’ll pick up some of this by proxy because if you’re going to indirectly fuel his high speed descent into egomania you may as well benefit from it.

Lowkey likes the fact that your insecurity allows him infinite excuses to touch you while imparting compliments and reassurance.

Definitely likes that you get so flustered in response.

It’s a mild power trip to sooth the voracious undead soul, you know how it is.

Seriously though, he sees no reason for you to be insecure. Whether it’s about appearance or prowess, if you were lacking in these areas he wouldn’t be with you in the first place. And since he IS with you – checkmate nihilism, mummy seal of approval.

Weasler’s snide comments and looks about it also gives him an excuse to put the guy through the wringer some more, which he’ll gladly accept.

(You had the audacity – in Weasler’s eyes – to giggle once at his being yeeted during one of Imhotep’s bad tempers and now the mummy takes delight in watching you do so again and again. Such is the life of a henchman)

As you grow in confidence, and you will, Imhotep will take notice and make sure you know he appreciates the steps you’re taking. He’s very supportive that way – many kisses and Ancient Egyptian sweet nothings for you.
