Inktober Day 8 There is no up or down. Everyone is under the same sky. The paradise from our dreams (that's our paradise!). A world without greed or loss. A dream of paradise. Para-paradise! Back in 2004, I discovered this cute animation about a rabbit girl who fell in love at first sight with a cat boy. She constantly chases him around, bringing him gifts (and even invading his privacy while using the bathroom). In their world though, cats and rabbits can't love one another. It's against the law, and signs are displayed everywhere for all to see at all times as a reminder. Still, the story is told in a cute way, and eventually he gives in, thus the story of There She Is continues for 4 more "steps" (or videos). In the late 2000's, the last two steps were uploaded to the internet. I remember rushing home from school so I could watch them when each of the two was released. What a powerful message of what currently happens in the world and what we should strive for as beings from what started off as a silly and cute animation years before. For my inktober today I tried to capture one of my favorite serious moments of the series (while also fighting severe nausea and dizziness).
