#theres soooooooooooooooo many problems with the jedi

The core of my thesis(es?) Is that the jedi teach that attachment leads to darkness and WILL make you evil. But the council leading the order is so attached to their power they cannot give it up and literally jump at the chance to resolidify it. And ALSO everyone who's been around for a while knows that no jedi fully follows the rules, every has some attachments it more about mindfulness of how it influences your actions. But that is not what they teach to their students. They teach FULL repression and control. They teach NO attachment at all. Which is deeply fucked up and not how emotions work.
