laying awake at night thinking about how in a short span of time leon went from

i wonder how often he thinks of the reporter he let die in a jail cell because of his dogged trust in authority and the chief, a chief who had a large hand in creating this hell, something the reporter was warning leon about

everyone talks about how bright eyed and hopeful he was as a rookie but i dont think enough people mention how that stemmed from ignorance to how justice is reallty dealt in the U.S and how now that hes disillusioned how he'll have to balance mourning that hope and trust he had as a rookie that he could help people with the stark reality that he likely wouldn't have been helping people in raccoon city but instead would have been complicit in umbrella's plans and even now as an agent he can try to protect people against bioterrorism but really he's just cleaning up the ripples of the governments mess
