(very sports girlie of me, but i think about kobe bryant and gigi at least once a week. and in particular the oldest daughter. who had to live through the grief and pain of her dad and sister dying, but also has to live through the entire WORLD knowing her dad and sister died.

and how people greet you after they know someone you know has passed (especially folks who like…didnt know the deceased well? and its not like a bonding moment but a oooh) and being old enough to understand and feel the urge to be polite back etc)
