They aren't quite old settlements, but I could 100% imagine there being some and I'd go with it.

there was some secrecy around them, that at least might be interesting. There was a town with a market who would only sell to members, and owning the Secret Power TM was proof of membership. (It was mainly secret base decorations and a few tms which included secret power, the move needed to create secret base. The adventurer fellow who teaches you about Secret bases goes on sells their own stuff in their shop built inside a tree in the Tree-walkway town. Skyla's gym town it was really a cool aesthetic/building place. )

Yeah pokemon was using portals/fallers for a bit. (If you hadn't played the games, there were basically a race of blue-skinned aliens, who could travel to other portals/worlds researching/studying them, while trying to seek out a way to help their deity, Necrozma, that their ancestors had harmed/injured. The aliens were wonderful, and traveled though these portals on the sun/moon legendaries back.

Ingo's the faller everyone clicked with, but there was canonically also a Looker/Anabelle, who people liked but lacked that certain angsty bite that the submas had. Though I'd argue theres a lot that could be done with Looker There was also a npc who vanished, but somehow was able to leave a message in a bottle saying they were fine/happy were they where, which brought comfort to the other npc. And there was that entire thing with Lusamine, who's actions were entirely based on the concept too. Her husband vanished though one of those portals, and she effectively mistreated herself, her children and others in her quest to try and find them again. In game they never reunite, pokemon anime had them reunite very recently. )

(Specifically for the first game, she's *badly* messed up by the alien pokemon and is sent to jhoto for experimental treatment. Theres no hint she even knows what happened to her husband, just that she likely had to give up for her own health/safety. In the Second game, she knows/is aware/even saw her husband, who is the Bean Guy in both games. But because he has no memories of his past life, she didn't want to disrupt his life, and just never tells him that she knows him. )

This was in regards to those hidden bases if I'm remembering right, which again is a very cool concept. And a good base for interesting storyship, even if it doesn't completely follow canon. No lore? Just add writer! Or rather re-write lore lolol~ But this would be a fun opportunity to write about a secret community and how all that works.

I have seen stuff about the fallers here and there, but the concept is pretty depressing overall. The loss of memory and having no anchor to your past is a bit much for my interests. The reason Ingo resonates is that I do know his past and can reunite him with it! You can thank my cowriter of yore for corrupting my perception on personhood and memories.

Because we love timetravel fics, right? Where the MC goes back in time and gets a re-do button basically. But she pointed out long ago that the people the MC interacts with are not the people they left behind. That the people left behind are for all intents and purposes dead. Just because they have the same name and face, they are missing the key interactions and memories. It can never be the same. For some this is okay! For me? Idk, it's not a good headspace for me I suppose? Makes me uncomfy.

*side eyes some submas fics* Which is why I start out liking some fics a lot, but peeter off depending on how it goes after reunion. I can only take so much hurt without comfort. And to me the comfort is the return of memories and self.

Uh, yeah sorry tangent. I have seen Looker and Annabelle go by in some fics, but don't have too much of an opinion on them. I'd have to look into their stories, but really I'm happy in my little submas corner. Other characters would only be to support me writing stories about the bros.

kinda perfect court au where the ravens + neil (nathaniel) + kevin + andrew all attend a v posh private boarding school in a town where all the residences know that the boys who wear those uniforms mean trouble but no one does anything bc 1. their daddies are rich as fuck and 2. their trouble tends to be mostly harmless to those outside of their school

 kevin, riko, and nathaniel have been joined at the hip ever since riko’s uncle adopted kevin when he was like 5

 riko and nathaniel already knew each other but they had their tempers, even when they were toddlers, so it was hard for them to get along until kevin came in to play middle man between the two of them and nathaniel and riko still get into petty little fights but kevin smooths it all over

 despite what their popularity and old money might suggest they were... pretty much just like every other kid their age and were kinda nerds 

 of course, at this age, nathaniel already knew how to wield knives and his skin was littered with suspicious scars, riko had been attending therapy for his anger and such since he was 8 years old, and kevin’s anxiety could rival that of a college student during finals week but no kid is perfect in this town

 so they would do silly things like make up their own intricate coded written language to leave each other messages in their hidden treehouse that they built themselves, that even their parents don’t know about

 when their school started offering latin in middle school they took to it like a house on fire 

 not only could they have a secret written language but they could learn an obscure speaking language together, they were so excited 

 going back to where it was mentioned earlier, they built a secret treehouse back in the woods that separate the wesninski and moriyama households that neither of their parents know about

 they go there constantly, to study, to hang out, to get away from their parents when nathan is too heavy handed, mary is too overbearing, tetsuji is disappointed, when kevin hasn’t been able to get his mother’s death out of his head 

 kevin tells them irish folktales that kayleigh told him when he was younger, and the three of them start to collect books about the tales that they leave in their hideout. whenever one of them is upset or having a panic attack, one of the others will hold them and tell them a tale they've memorized to help ground them

 kevin told nathaniel that he wished he could send a far darrig after nathan when nathaniel came to the treehouse with the burn of an iron on his shoulder

 (nathaniel always tells kevin that this was when he knew he loved kevin)

 they meet jean in their freshman year of highschool

 his older sister lives in the area and eventually he tells the three boys that he was sent to america from marseilles because his parents got tired of their fifteen year old child getting in trouble for street racing all throughout france when he was supposed to be attending galas and yacht parties; he was the middle child anyways, and he knew his parents cared more for his sisters which was fine by him (“honestly, nat, I don’t care about their approval anymore, stop threatening to eviscerate them.”)

 nathaniel is a little bit in love the first time he makes jean smile, and a little bit enamored when he makes jean laugh

 kevin knows the dangerously smitten look in nathaniels eyes from experience; hes grown up with those sharp blue eyes always pointed his way. kevin just rolls his own knowingly before nodding at nathaniel and hiding a smile

 theres nothing official going on between nathaniel and kevin or even nathaniel and jean but everyone knows and no one talks about it

 everything is good and well until the summer of their senior year

 the four of them spent their highschool years so far sneaking around cops, evading the law, eating ice cream at 3 am at the overlook above town, jean taking them on joyrides and using tetsuji’s money and nathaniel’s smile to get whatever they want; theyre all a little bit in love with each other, even riko

until kengo dies

 thats riko’s final breaking point

 kevin day is the one who eventually files a missing persons report after finding their hideout soaked in blood fresh enough to smell and jean no where to be found

 nathaniel wesninski is the one who finds kevin curled up and shaking, silently sobbing at the base of the tree, blood and dirt smeared over his hands and clothes

 riko moriyama is the one who gets mysteriously shipped off to a different boarding school on the other side of the coast without saying goodbye

 andrew minyard is the one who starts to decode messages that are being left daily in a seemingly abandoned treehouse that he found in the woods at the beginning of senior year when he was trying to escape his new foster brother, the wood of the structure stained a suspicious red

competition, it's a challenge course in someone's big backyard where the goal is ?? I'm so.eone small and lithe with a pocket calculator that can text and im the only one who stays to listen to the full speech the camp counselor gives so he gives me a hint and points me towards a pool cue hidden in the grass. I pick it up but discard it immediately and start climbing. it's the big backyard of a church or something g like that, lots of brick and handholds that has then been augmented, but once i start climbing theres way more pits and secret ledges and stuff. lara and i have an uneasy truce but we end up letting someone named molly fall and drop out? while this is happening my friend claire (in this dream she's my friend but irl she's a classmate, weird) has been texting me, she in a bad place, but i can't take out my calculator because that will be cheating, zosha who is one of the camp counselors comes to check on us and i give her the calculator, the time/plot gets a little confusing here, there's a walk back to our respective houses that takes us by a tree filled with lights and its beautiful? im texting/emailing with claire about a fight she had with one of the other people with us named matthaias, there's definitely a day in between here but that doesn't make sense? the next night i guess we're back doing the competition again, even though claire was texting me she's also been part of this competition and at the end of it we all come out of this cave (???) and our parents are there to pick us up, one parent per child, and matthias's dad is a tall person with soft looking big braided white hair, he's balding on top, and claires mom is this thin and slightly wrinkly woman with miles of floaty red hair and a kind of distant expression like she's listening to something we can't hear, and everyone comes out of the cave except claire, and finally after they've searched and we've all been there a while claires mom says softly, "so that's the decision she came to" and we know claire killed herself. we're all sitting against the wall outside the cave and there's a computer monitor on a desk within eyeshot with my calculator plugged into it and on the screen is a text from claire saying something like "do you ever feel like there's no point to anything?" and i know it was one of the text messages she sent me while i was climbing and instead of texting her back i gave the calculator to zosha so nobody would think i was cheating. I look through the emails back and forth between me and claire, where we're talking about her fight with matthias and how he's going to wnd up being a great person to have on our team, and i want to cry

the same dream but later, i think im someone else now and they're not as affected, ive walked to my home nearby past the tree with all the lights (it shadows the sidewalk, and across the street there's a little store with a bench outside where i could sit and look at the tree for a while, but i dont) and now me and my dream mom and the dream people living with us are having pizza in a bright house with the walls half painted, but also its linda and she almost burns me with the gaudy lid of a crockpot that she's brandishing. zosha walks by and says "you don't want to end up like matthias" (he died even though it was claire???) and i laugh and say "too soon". later me and some dream person i like are reading a weird book out loud to judge if its a good book for one of our dream friends who's a teacher to bring in and have her students read. it's a story about a guy who went missing(???) for clout(????) and his girlfriend got him 400 tumblr followers and helped saved his life and that's why the name of the book is something about those 400 tumblr followers. this part is fuzzy. murray meows directly into my ear and i wake up

Cotton can be difficult to trace, a lot of it comes from Uzbekistan where child labour is wide spread. In other developing countries, the working conditions in sweatshops can be deadly. In 2013 a government factory in Bangladesh collapsed, killing over 1,000 people.

Recruitment of the server is the sole duty of admin and staff.

Mechanics & Lag Prevention

Keep the map pretty. No stray torches, floating trees, abandoned boats/craft benches, or 1x1 towers.

Do not build or harvest within two hundred blocks of other players without consent. This includes mining. Mining should be in your claim and the general 200 block buffer from your claim. Do not mine long tunnels near players or cutting across the map unless you have permission from players to mine near them. (This is because our map is small right now.)

Animal/mob rooms should be kept at a reasonable entity number or they will be culled. Redstone devices should be controlled by an on/off switch and not left on. Floating redstone machines are not allowed.

X-ray, flying, hacking mods, or the use of in-game exploits is strictly prohibited.

Circumventing the AFK timer kick is prohibited.

20 Lives

First you must beat the game and unlock luigi. Then when you get ready to start a new game dont.Change your face thing on your planet to the new one(luigi). Then start a new game and talk to the toad that gives you the letters to mario from peach. But when you talk to him with luigi he will say that this letter is not for you(luigi) but for mario. And instead of giving you 5 1UPS he will give you twenty. He will do this every time you turn the game back on. Trust me this is good if you are getting stuck and need some extra lives. P.S This works with only luigi and not mario.

Passing The Blue Comic

To beat the the blue comic is a long jump at the end if blue mario is close to the star do the long jump you will go over him and you will win. Anley do this when he is close to the star. I tried it work for me.

Infinite 1-Ups

If you grab any 1-Up Mushroom at the CometObservatory, you can then head into any dome, backout, and arrive back at the Comet Observatorywithout having played any stage. This will makethe 1-Up Mushroom you acquired reappear.

How To Defeat Boos Under Water

When you get a shell under water there is a lightbeaming out of it then shine it on the boos.

Stylish Ground Pound

While in the air do a spin and then instantly after ground pound, it will look like a ballerina version of a ground pound. Theres really no point in doing this except it looks really cool.

How To Beat Bowser

Just make bowser jump on the blue thing and spin when he is about to hit you. Then spin by him and do that 3 or 4 times!

Red Flying Mario

When you get the 5th grand star you’ll unlock two domes. Ones called the garden and ones called the gate. Go through the gate and get on top of the Coliseum. Now talk to Rosalina and a red luma will appear. Talk to it and purple coins will appear. Collect all of them and go back to where you found the red luma. A red star will be there. Collect the red star and go to the garage. A red power-up will be there. Get it and start flying!

How To Defeat Bugaboom

Galaxy:Honeyhive galaxy mission:third mission big bad Bugaboom. To defeat Bugaboom get on top of him and ground pound. Now turn into Bee Mario and fly onto the honeycomb wall on the tree master your timing. When he gets under you GET OFF AND GROUND POUND! Now repeat but DO NOT ground pound when he turns. AND AVOID BOMBS!

Easy Way To Defeat Fire Dino Piranah

As soon as he is free of his shell, he will begin chasing you. He is always faster than you. The best thing to do is turn around and go around him. He has a one track mind. When he starts running, he can’t do a full 180. If you try to gradually turn around him, he has enough time to react. Just turn around and pass him. Watch which side the tail goes out on, and the next time you hit the tail, it will go out no the other side. If you do this, its a cinch.

How To Beat Fire Dino Piranah

In order to beat the piranah you must first wait until the falame on his tail goes out. Then, continue to do that but remember that he/she runs faster after every time you hit his/her tail. HINT:his/her tail will light on fire faster and faster.

Star In Golden Chomp

When you get the mystery coins in gusty garden, level 3, there will be a rainbow star. Get it then go to the golden chomp; after that a star will come out.

Hidden Star In Beach Bole

Did you know there is a hidden star in beach bole? Grab a sheel go to the pangin that’s running. Go down more and there will be a chest. Hit it with the sheel. A sling pod will appear. Go in it do the rest. And that how you get a secret star.

Flying Ability

Go to the gate talk to lady Rosalina then talk to the red luma then use red star to fly and collect all 100 purple coins. Then after go to the top of the bedroom or the garage and use the red star.

Freezing Opponents (Only Able With 2 Players)

In 2 player mode, you can actually FREEZE opponents! The Star Bit collector simply clicks the “A” button on an opponent or rock or.anything (except bosses)! This will let you be able to hit them while they are freezed and just kill them that way!

Smashing Rocks

In the first level of Good Egg Galxy, complete the level up to the part with the rolling rocks and weird sticky green stuff. You need two players to do this. The Star Bit collector has to press the “A” button when positioned on one rock. This rock will freeze and the next rock will smash into it, causing a lot of Star Bits to come out of them. Do this with every rock until it is cleared. It will be a good way to earn more Star Bits and easier to get the pieces of the Launch Star.

Megaleg

To defeat megaleg, get to the top of him and make the bullet bills smash into the dome with the grand star in it.

The Last Star

After you have Mario and Luigi with 120 stars and defeated Bowser to get the Grand Finale Galaxy go there to collect 100 purple coins and get the last star (the 121 star).

Passing Sea Slide Bonus

To pass the sea slide bonus (Hurry, he hungry), first you need to feed the luma star bits. Then before you go into the cannon, grab the Bee Mario that way you can fly over the holes and not get sucked in to death.

Breaking Into The Battlerock

When you give a luma 40 star bits you get a new plant. You only get 30 sec to blow up all the junk. A faster way is to get a bomb and jump on it. Be careful lose lives.

Extra Lives

Because you start each game with only four lives(after shutting the game off and turning it backon), you might be in need of some extra lives uponrebooting the game. You can usually get five rightoff the bat from Toad (he’ll run around with aletter above his head, symbolizing a letter fromeither Luigi, or more likely Peach). There arefour more strewn around the Observatory that youcan acquire, however: * 1.) On the moving green platform below the core. * 2.) Under the stairs leading to the kitchen. * 3.) Right at the top of the observatory.(Once the Red Star is unlocked) * 4.) Underneath the entrance to the gatewayto the stars. (Once the Red Star is unlocked) * 5.) Next to the StarShroom (in a crate)

Second Player

If you have a second Wii controller, you can havea friend play along with you. While there won’t bea second player on-screen, you will have a secondcursor to use. This means that Coins, Star Bits,and the like can be collected by the secondplayer. There’s also some functionality incontrolling Mario’s jumps.

Super Stomp

If you want to do a specialized stomp with Marioor Luigi, try the following. When you jump, beforeyou press the Z button to do the Ground Pound,spin by shaking the Wii controller. As you arespinning, you can then press the Z button. Theresult? A stronger stomp that will actually trackthe enemy and follow it, kind of like aheat-seeking missile!

Homing Attack!

In order to perform the Homing Attack in Super Mario Galaxy, execute Mario’s SpinAttack while in midair, quickly press Z. Mario will do the Homing Attack on thenearest enemy or target.

There is a one up on top of the garden center. (need flying star)

How To Defeat Dino Piranah

You hit him with a spin attack on the tail to crack him in egg form and hurt him in regular form. But after the first time you hit him in regular form you better be fast or done for.

1ups On The Start Area

1. In a box in the garage.2. Under the stairs on your way to the kitchen.3. Under the platform with the gate on it. (need the fly star.)4. Along the rotating green path near the terrace.(need the fly star)

Grand Finale Galaxy

Grand Finale Galaxy isn’t really a galaxy. It’s the level in front of the castle where you start the game with Mario. To unlock it, you have to get all 120 stars with Mario, then do it again with Luigi. When you do this, Princess Rosalina will ask you to go to Bowser’s Galaxy Reactor. Say yes, fight Bowser. Then she will bring you back home. It has one star, The Star Festival. You have to collect 100 purple coins. When you get them all, go to Mailtoad and he’ll send a congratulatory message to your Wii Message board. You have just beat the game 100%!NOTE: You have to beat it with both Mario AND Luigi to beat it 100%!

Where To Find 3 1up Mushrooms

There is 3 1up mushrooms. 1 is in the crate in the garage. 1 is under the stair at the kitchen. And 1 is under the library (note you must get on the green thing after it is under it).

Get 5 1up Mushrooms From Peach

Sometimes peach will send a letter with 5 1up mushrooms.

How To Beat Bowser

This is simple. Make him jump on the blue circles it will bust and make lava burn his butt.

Get A Longer Life

When first starting the bee galaxy. Walk backwards and there should be a sign. Just to the right of that should be a little cliff. Jump on that and you will get a boost in life. (*note: may not work on all bee galaxy levels)

Get A1up

Go under the stairs at the kitchen.

Flying Mario Ability

To get the Flying Mario ability go to the Gate, which is located on that flying island. You can get there when you unlock the Garden observatory. First, go to the castle thing on the planet you appear on. Then a scene will appear and then a red Luma will tell you to get all 100 the purple coins. He will let you use the Flying Mario ability. Then, when you get all the coins, you can go to the red Luma which is located on top of the Bedroom observatory. I hope you enjoy flying!

Easier Bigmouth Galaxy

When you enter the area with the two hemispheresof water, there is no need to collect the starpieces to make a boost star. Instead, get near thewall when you surface, then jump out of the waterand perform a wall jump followed immediately by aspin. You should be in the upper hemisphere.

Better Jumps

When jumping, shake the wii remote to stay in the air for better jumps.

Start Fast

When racing Cosmic Mario in Super Mario Galaxy, before the race starts press andhold forward. Then press Z when the starting clock is at 2 and then press A whenthe race starts.

Unlockables

Unlock More Mario Costumes

Bee Mario – Get the Bee Mushroom. With this, Mario can fly for short periods oftime. Rainbow Mario – Get the Rainbow Star. This makes Mario temporarily invincible. Boo Mario – Get the Boo Mushroom. This allows Mario to pass through solidobjects. Ice Mario – Get the Ice Flower. This allows Mario to freeze water by walking onit. Fire Mario – Get the Fire Flower. This allows Mario to shoot fireballs. Flying Mario – Get the Red Star. This allows Mario to fly in the game. Spring Mario – Get the Spring Mushroom. This allows Mario to bounce higher.

121st Star

There’s actually 121 Stars in the game, not 120.To get it, you must first have all 120 Stars. Thisunlocks Luigi. Beat the entire game with Luigi,defeating Bowser at the end. After this, a newgalaxy will be unlocked. Finish this final galaxyto get the 121st Star.

Play As Luigi

Collect all 120 stars and fight bowser. After the credits you will get a message that luigi is a playable.

Death Count

The Grand Finale Galaxy, which is the secretgalaxy that can be unlocked after 120 Stars aregathered with both Mario and Luigi, holds anothersecret. Once the final Star is acquired with bothcharacters in this galaxy, you will be able to seeyour death count on your save file. This willallow you to see how many times you died whileplaying the game with both Mario and Luigi.

Luigi

Finish the whole game (Which means to get all 120 stars), then go back to the Comet Observatory and talk to Rosalina and ask to fight Bowser one more time. Once you defeat Bowser, Luigi will become available.

  We are on a brand new map and just opened September 3rd! We are a laid-back group of adults looking to form a fun, stress-free environment with others. Our spawn was inspired by small-town living. Complete with a park, an old-fashioned mall, and community center. Inspired by beloved games such as Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley. Stonewick is co-admined by a married couple who are young at heart and hope to meet new friends on this journey!

  When you first join, you arrive via train to our beloved train station. From there you can navigate your way around our DynMap via warps or Nether hub. You can also take a guided player tour of our overworld on our rollercoaster. Spawn has plenty of room to grow, with space to make memories building community projects against a lovely backdrop of scenic mountains, rivers, and forests. Spawn is decorated with Secrets & Easter Eggs from references to Harry Potter or LOST to inside jokes and even secret ways to earn trophies and decorative heads.

Community

Be kind and courteous to all members. Displays of toxic behavior that affect the community negative will not be tolerated.

Keep chat relatively family-friendly, occasional swearing is fine. Just remember, everything in moderation.

Players must be ages 18+. No exceptions.

Recruitment of the server is the sole duty of admin and staff.

No griefing. This includes stealing from claimed/unclaimed chests, pranking players without their consent, harvesting farms or animals that belong to other players, mass terraforming/deforestation in unclaimed areas, or destroying builds/items placed by other players.

Mechanics & Lag Prevention

Keep the map pretty. No stray torches, floating trees, abandoned boats/craft benches, or 1x1 towers.

Do not build or harvest within two hundred blocks of other players without consent. This includes mining. Mining should be in your claim and the general 200 block buffer from your claim. Do not mine long tunnels near players or cutting across the map unless you have permission from players to mine near them. (This is because our map is small right now.)

Animal/mob rooms should be kept at a reasonable entity number or they will be culled. Redstone devices should be controlled by an on/off switch and not left on. Floating redstone machines are not allowed.

X-ray, flying, hacking mods, or the use of in-game exploits is strictly prohibited.

Circumventing the AFK timer kick is prohibited.
