I hate pick me queers. Possibly more than a regular cis het homophobe. I get it, at the core its not completely their fault they're like this, it's misogyny, homophobia, and transphobia.... but. It is their fault when they uphold fascist ideals when seeking a place in a heteronormative society.

When queer people say "stop supporting jkr with your hogwarts house in bio because of her bigotry!" They're the first people to say "well you can't tell people what they cant like and im gAy :((((" not to mention her hate campaign is common knowledge nowadays.

When someone says "this hateful thing happened to me" they say "well it never happened to me and im there so you're overexaggerating" as if they are the end all be all.

They are the first to tell you "not to wave it all around" they hate self expression.

They're the first to repeat misinformation

They immediately repeat fascist rhetoric

But you. You are the bad queer for getting pissed at them.

And y'know, they'll immediately pull the "you don't have to agree" or the "anyones allowed an opinion" or whatever to wear you down. They want you to say nothing so passerby's hop on board with their garbage infactual takes.

You don't get to tell other queer people homophobic shit, and tell them to be less violent than the oppressor, and argue for the oppressor because you think that's "morally higher" or whatever. You don't get to stand against your siblings as they suffer and blame them then get upset when you're called on it.

I don't know who needs to hear it but the oppressor sees us all as the same type of undesirable. They are using you and they don't give a shit about you. Your only reward for siding with them is the blood of your Lgbtqia+ siblings. If they get what they want your existence would also perish!

I know a lot of pick me's dont care for whatever reason. Preach empathy but practice none of it. If oppression happens to someone who isn't you, you simply can't comprehend it. It's revolting and I wish you awfulness. Complacency is not a kindness, it's a violence in this context. One which so many of you parrot. For what? So you're digestible? For who? People as simple minded?
