Got more Yuri Qs: you said you gave him an accent, what is his accent lmfao? I need to know in what head voice to read 'this cums' from that one comic. What do his parents think of his boyfriend/what does boyf think of the now degnolled parents? Is he gonna multiclass into artificer after learning from his poppa? How do his parents think of his whole warlock deal? Did they think he'd be something else?

Also, does his Dad know his son inherited his hoe genes. Does yuri know he gets it from his papa?

His accent is what I can best describe as 'Polish', except I do not know a lick of Polish, so it's really me trying my best. I watched a lot of videos of Polish people speaking English to try and get close to the accent - his voice is higher pitched and very nasally, and he has a bit of a 'backwater twang'. Lowborn speech pattern, basically. Maybe one day I'll do a voice recording!

His father ADORES his boyfriend Niram, even if he is a drow! His first reaction upon learning that Niram was his boyfriend was quizzing the wizard on his mathematics and Niram passed easily, and so Petyr adored him and considers him family now. Yuri's mother...she didn't like it at first. People are just kinda racist to drow, it sucks. But she's getting better and even hugged Niram during a family dinner. She thinks as long as her son is happy, she's happy. Niram respects the Galkins, especially Petyr, as a master craftsman. He's...intimidated by Vera and her constant judgements. He's a bit of a perfectionist and there's nothing more intimidating to a perfectionist than someone who is CONSTANTLY JUDGING YOU.

I think that he's either going to multi-class into artificer or paladin, but more likely artificer! He's already learning how to make bombs and disassemble machines - his newest project is outfitting a flying broom for Niram with sick jets and shit.

His parents...aren't sure about the warlock thing. They want him to be safe, and his Patron doesn't seem very safe. Yuri's father is concerned about the horns and wings. Vera meanwhile is interested in the prospect of a POWERFUL PATRON supporting Yuri, but also she's extremely protective so if anyone fucks with her baby boy...>:I

If they hadn't been horrifically murdered during the time they did, and Yuri had gotten to have his parents, I think he would have become an artificer like his tata. However, now that they're back...well, Yuri can give it another shot!

Sad the DnD movie seems to have a weak sauce intro-to-tiefling tiefling in it, but I feel this is a step forward for all us weird tiefling players. Keep up the good work of making crazy lil blorbos. Yuri being tief with vulture wings is a fun variant on the design.

yesss i loved the tief in the movie and hoping it there's a sequel we can see some cool red tiefs with hooves or claws! As an aside I would love to see some drow in the next movie if they make a sequel!

Also it's so funny you mention vulture bc that is what I was going for in terms of inspos for Yuri's tief look and I was also thinking about when he eventually gets a tail, it would look like a raptor tail with feathers at the end of it!

I'm definitely going to heavily lean into the vulture look for Yuri's tief design...

oh boy. Yuri is...he's surviving? He's so happy to have his parents back from the dead and living on campus with him (his father is a professor of artificing at the school now!)

But also it's a bit weird because not much time has passed for them, but for Yuri, over 13 years have passed since they were murdered...so it's uh...it's a bit hard. But the boy will make it through!

I mean, it's only getting more complicated because Yuri is trying to redeem his devil Patron! So uhhhh wish him luck....

he's gotten more into reading (he wasn't allowed to, previously), and unfortunately that means he's also reading a lot of poorly written books by some not-so-nice people, one of which describes...drow.

niram, his ever-loving drow boyfriend, would kindly explain to him that it's a load of horse-shit. in the world we play in, elves (as a whole) have only really been known to the wider world for 100 years, so there's not a lot of GOOD, veritable info about them yet. lets hope that changes soon!

I genuinely appreciate that, thank you so much! Yuri is the first character that I've connected with this much - I put a lot of myself into him (along with my trans-ness). I'd love to make more comics about him...especially NSFW ones (I gotta kick my ass into gear and draw already)

I really love how much you've put into Yuri and how much affection you have for your lil man. Its sweet when people do that. Was he always aiming to get Tief'd up or was that something he did as a whim? Any more Tief parts he craving or has he finally reached his final form? What did his partner feel about his Tiefing up and is there anything he wanted him to get but didnt say?

Thank you so much my friend. Yuri is such an important character to me b/c I made him as a 'fresh start' character after a year of pain and trouble, and he's gender euphoria for me. He was NEVER aiming to get tiefed up -- that was a complete accident when he touched a cursed dagger that was tied to a Great Devil Patron (oops).

As far as tiefling parts, he's kinndaa craving a tail (definitely not for kink purposes, nope). His partner LOVES it, he thinks its sexy and that he shouldn't be ashamed of the changes. He actually grafted Yuri's wings on (they weren't devil-made), he's very proud of the job he did.

The only thing Yuri is nervous about his new tiefling form is that it kinda scares his parents a bit, and he's worried that they're secretly afraid of him now :(
