the thing about elluin and astarion that really tickles me is that they can and do get divorced at least 5 times. she's a high elf and he's an immortal vampire, they have HUNDREDS of years together. they save baldurs gate and 3 months later she leaves him and goes to waterdeep for the next 75 years. then they reconcile and things are sooo perfect and good for awhile because theyve grown as people. bam. another divorce. they're like jlo and ben affleck to me. elluin is ben affleck in this situation. obviously.
