15: What battle in the campaign has been most memorable to your character? It’s a pretty even tie right now (partially because of like. how recent the second was) between the fight with Jhe - you know, where they literally exploded in his hands - and the most recent fight with the rich lady ghost - because ahaha it could’ve happened again

24: Which other player character does your character find themselves having the most in common with? hey, Same Hat, Anthe Fellow tank, martyr complex, everything is Definitely Fine, like...if he’d actually get around to thinking about it there’s an acknowledgement that it’s probably not great traits to have in common but. Also it’s nice that Anthe gets it. She gets the sort of things losing a loved one will get you to do, and that’s not necessarily good but it’s...solidarity.

28: What is currently motivating your character to stay with the party? In a way, really, it’s them sticking with him. They’re the ones getting dragged into this contact with the Dynasty and this giant purple worm hunt and he’s absolutely baffled by it, but...also extremely relieved because this is the first time since Ilharess died that he’s felt fully comfortable around people. They’re a dysfunctional mess, but they’re his dysfunctional mess, and as long as they’re insistent on tagging along as he tries not to get executed arrested, he’s going to look after this dysfunctional mess as best he can.

33: What person does your character admire most? In terms of like,,, abilities and skills, Nol. Wizards are cool as shit man, and she’s already such a powerful one (eat your heart out Zolaed) and it is just super cool to be able to watch. In terms of more. personal ? sort of things, Nev. While I as the player know it’s not entirely true Vic definitely sees Nev as so put together, so sure of her standards and such. Even if she doesn’t seem super confident about things there’s still this aura of Knowing What She’s Doing. (and he has no real reason not to believe that at this point!)

50: Who in the party would your character prioritize rescuing, in dire circumstances? Instinctively, immediately, Nol. but dear god don’t make him pick.

60: What decision would the party have to make in order for your character to consider splitting off from the group? tbf he uh. tried to split already. but that was less of a disagreement thing and more of a martyr-shit thing. and considering how adamant they were about not letting him do that, it would probably take a decent amount for him to legitimately want to leave again. I think the big one still stands, if they got into something that got them actively working against the Dynasty. Like he’s done mercenary work in the Empire himself, but if it turned into something that specifically sided with the Empire in the war or went after his people,,, I think he’d be out

67: What is your character the most envious about, regarding anyone in the party? Literally anyone’s ability to just. Straight up Talk To a God. So right now Anthe and Nol specifically, even if Nol’s was just a quick weird call to what was possibly maybe a very weird ?? deity ?? He grew up vaguely following the Luxon because it is what his family did, and has been leaning into it a little more lately, but the revelation that some people’s gods just ??? talk to them? Answer questions? Some people have legitimate evidence to base their faith on??? wack

72: Who in the party would your character trust the most to keep an important secret? It was Nol way back when he first gave her his real name and it is still Nol now. She understands the importance of secrets, even if he doesn’t really. have any from the dreamteam anymore. She gets the significance.

93: Who in the party does your character trust the least? P.A.T. for sure. Though it is technically Professor Ducky he’s got the beef with, Vic definitely does not differentiate between the two of them, and he’s not about to stare down a dog in the waking world so he’ll happily side-eye P.A.T. That whole Dream “therapy” session got him real on edge with that pair, and P.A.T. is a little unnerving already, and he’s fine with them tagging along (always good to have more backup and more contingency plans) but he is definitely not about to divulge more than absolutely necessary to either of them.
