A long-distance relationship is something you and Matt didn't have in mind but, of course, when Matt and his brother's YouTube career took off all too fast, it threw almost a 3,000-mile wedge in your guys' relationship.

See you and the Triplets were what you called childhood best friends. You guys were basically raised together. The constant sleepovers and family vacations you guys took with each other's families. To sum it up, Marylou and Jimmy were legitimately your second mom and dad.

So ultimately you were bound to fall for one of your childhood best friends. Everyone out of your Boston friends thought that hands down Chris was going to be the one for you. The universe, though, had other plans, because as you and the triplets got older together and matured together to a degree, you took more of a liking to Matt just because of his calm demeanor and just knowing that he ultimately became your safe space. So when Junior Year of high school arrived you both came to your senses and ended up confessing to each other and being together ever since.

This brings you to the present day, you sitting at home not having the best day. Everything didn't go right for you since early that morning, from having so much college work piling up to do to being late for work to the ultimate dealbreaker, the worst thing about all of this is all you want is a simple hug from your boyfriend who ironically is hours away from you.

"is something bothering you sweetie," your mom asks from across the island counter you had recently installed in your new house when you moved out. "huh, oh it's nothing it's stupid" you reply back setting your phone down on the marble countertop. "Sure, I have to go to Sephora anyway" you sigh grabbing your phone and then grabbing your shoes.

Little did you know this was all normal. Marylou, Matt, and your mom had planned this a month in advance, they were flying Matt out to Boston as we speak just to spend the month with you and it just so happens that it was on the exact day you really needed him most but, once again your completely unaware of this because after all, it was an unknown surprise.

"I just need some more foundation then we can go back to my house if you want Mom" you stated simply trying not to let on that you were so upset about not hearing from Matt. "okay take your time" your mom replied back as you turned to look through the various foundations to find yours. "I think your dad and I might go to visit your grandmother in Iowa soon" your mom states randomly to keep you somewhat distracted as she begins recording subtly the aisle next to the end of where you were currently standing. "really that sounds fun, how is she doing anyway?" you trail off in your response to your mom, still fixated on finding the foundation you were needing, all while your boyfriend, now sneaking his way to the exact spot you and your mom were located. "found it, we can go check out now mom" you state as you turn around facing her. "what are you doing mom" you giggle at your mom failing to give a response as she is still actively recording, giving your boyfriend enough time to fully stand next to you without you sensing his presence. After standing there perplexed at your mom's unusual reaction, you begin to turn to leave her and go check out so you can go back home. "oh my god" you exclaimed, hugging yourself out of pure shock, finally seeing who was standing next to you the whole time. "hi baby" matt finally speaks, giggling at your cuteness. "oh my god" you reiterate again finally wrapping your arms around matt's neck as he shifts his grip from your waist to your thighs lifting you off of the ground as you wrap your legs around him. "mom did you know about this" you ask genuinely as matt sets you back on your feet. " baby both your mom and my mom planned it out" Matt interjects grabbing the sides of your face and kissing your forehead then proceeds to wrap his arms around your neck and bring you into him. "okay well I will leave you lovebirds to it, I will meet you guys at the car " you mom announces walking out of Sephora.

"talk to me pretty girl what has been happening" Matt finally speaks up as you look up at him from your tight embrace "I really needed you today i have been so stressed out and I thought you were forgetting about me when you didn't text me at all today" you ramble on. The Argo II became more of a home to the eight demigods during their months of travel. Even though the ship would most probably get destroyed beyond even Leo's repair by the time they finished their quest of destroying Gaea, that didn't stop them from finding comfort within the Celestial bronze walls.

During that morning, most of the demigods were in the dining room, enjoying their breakfast. They were all tired and sluggish, since the night before wasn't kind to them. Usually they would take shifts when it came to guarding the ship, but everyone was awake last night due to the mini army of winged terrors that came across the flying ship, which caused them to set down on the sea near the land.

They all slept for less than four hours, and they all wanted nothing more but to add to those hours of sleep.

"GODDAMN THIS STUPID HORSE!"

Well, most of them slept. It seemed that one of them didn't find sleep as luxurious as the rest did that night.

"How does she have this much energy? It's like, seven in the morning," Percy groaned, almost faceplanting into his blue pancakes if it weren't for Annabeth's quick reflexes to hold her boyfriend's head up.

"I SWEAR TO MY DAD'S ROMAN COUNTERPART I WILL TEAR YOU TO TINY LITTLE PIECES YOU HUNK OF SHIT!"

"She's a daughter of Ares alright," Frank chuckled tiredly, rubbing his eyes. "Only she can be heard this clearly when she's all the way on the other side of the ship."

"What horse is she talking about? I thought the stables were empty," Piper wondered, not bothering to tame her typhoon hair as she sipped her orange juice.

"THAT'S MY SHIRT YOU DUMBASS — ARION THE FUCKING HAY IS RIGHT THERE — STOP CHEWING MY DAMN SHIRT!"

It seemed that Arion decided to pay them a little visit now that they were set on a monster-free dock. That would explain Hazel's absence from the table, and how she reappeared in the doorway. She turned to Jason, who was trying to shovel as much food into his mouth as he could so he can go to the stables.

"She's gonna explode again," Hazel panted, putting a hand on her knee to support herself. "I tried getting her to breathe, like you normally do, Jason, but she's not listening. She might actually go through with killing Arion this time."

Jason swallowed, wiping his mouth as he stood up. "I'll go handle it. You," he pointed to Hazel, "eat."

Leo looked up from his rubber band helicopter to stare at his best friend. "Good luck, buddy. She hasn't bit off your head yet, but that could happen any day now."

Jason chuckled. "Thanks, Leo, but I'll be fine." He left the room.

More cursing and shouts that sounded dangerously close to war cries made Jason quicken his pace as he crossed the deck to go down into the stables, where he could see flickering shadows of a girl and a horse.

"If you bite at my shirt again, I'll shove a grenade down your throat and use your insides as monster bait."

Jason stopped walking, to see if you could actually control yourself this time.

Chomp.

"THAT'S IT, I'M GETTING MY GRENADES —"

You're thundering footsteps grew louder as you approached the doorway to leave the stables. Jason stepped forward just as you were about to exit the room, putting a placating hand on your shoulder. "Woah woah, slow down there Pompeii. No need to resort to violence so quickly, hmm?"

Strands of hay were poking out from your hair — which wasn't as messy as Piper's but it was well on its way there. There were dark circles under your angry eyes, indicating that you didn't sleep a wink that night. Your knuckles were white from how hard you were balling your fists, and heavy breaths escaped your lips. Jason swore that he could see a little bit of smoke coming out of your ears.

"That goddamn horse is gonna die," you seethed, your chest rising and falling from your angry inhales and exhales. "Step out of the way, Grace."

Jason shook his head, a calming smile on his lips as he moved his hands to your hair, picking out the hay before resting on your flaming cheeks, flushed with annoyance. "Breathe with me."

"I gotta give that stupid piece of shit what it deserves —"

"I know, I know, but you gotta breathe with me first, okay?"

"But —"

"Breathe. In..." He took a deep breath in, sending you a pointed look when you didn't follow. His scolding glance made you mutter some colorful words under your breath before following along with him.

"Out..."

You exhaled with him. You could feel your anger boil down, and Jason saw and felt your shoulders let out the tension in it.

"In..." you closed your eyes.

"Out..."

You opened them once you sensed that Jason was done. "How are you feeling?" He asked you.

"Better. Still a little annoyed, but I'm better."

"Remember what we said?"

You glared a little at Jason, before sighing and looking away. "I shouldn't act on my anger unless necessary."

"And was it necessary now?"

"No..."

Jason's smile grew, putting his palm under your chin to make you look at him so he could give you a small peck on your lips. "You look like you haven't slept. How about you rest in your cabin for the day, let the rest of us handle the monsters and the bird crap on the deck?"

You shrugged, acting like you didn't really care, an act that didn't convince Jason, judging from the way you leaned into his touch. "Sure, whatever. As long as someone else makes sure that damned horse is gone by the time I'm awake." You casted a heated glare at Arion behind you. The horse simply snorted, bending down to eat the hay that you were trying to get him to eat instead of your shirt moments before.

Jason nodded, his blonde hair swaying slightly with the movement. "Deal. Let's get some food in your system before you head to bed, okay?"

"Fine."

You let Jason lead you out of the stables and into the dining room, where everyone was.

The silence that followed your arrival was awkward and tense, like they were still waiting for some aftershock of your anger.

They finally breathed when you and Jason squeezed into a chair and Jason gave you food that you ate in silence, a pensive expression on your face as your eyes were focused only on the food in front of you, paying no mind to the stares of your fellow demigods."

"How do you do it?" Leo sighed, launching his helicopter, which flew out of the room. "Even back at camp, not even her siblings could contain her. That takes skill, man."

Your half sister Clarisse, despite being known for her issues with controlling her anger, could hardly restrain you when someone decided to tick you off.

Jason shrugged, staring lovingly at you, his girlfriend, cheeks slightly puffed from the food you were chewing. "I don't know man. I just do it."

But deep down, Jason knew the truth. You would never calm down unless you let yourself be calmed down by someone you completely trusted.

Being able to make you see through your anger was not a skill Jason had, it was simply the one of the perks of being your boyfriend, and the one person you trusted more than yourself.

Some Pico, Darnell and Nene headcanons

-Pico stims by scratching the side of his gun with his thumb. In the events he's without a weapon, he'll just scratch his own palm.

-Darnell is the smartest among his friend group. He also serves as most of his group's impulse control.

-Nene has a mild case of spectrophobia. Her bathroom mirror is covered up by a hand towel, and she'll generally avoid rooms with mirrors unless she needs to.

-Pico has a small hard drive connected to his PC. on it, contain a shit ton of sfw files of various flash pieces, mostly from Negrounds, as his own private archive. His long standing grudge at Adobe for killing flash is, thus far, unsatisfied

-Darnell, whenever he's home, will put on one of those "ambient fireplace noises background noise" Youtube videos. He can't really sleep or even relax without one of those playing

-Nene was really big on the show '1000 Ways to Die' while it was still airing. She bought a bootleg 'complete series DVD' of the show once.

-Pico's favorite food is macaroni and cheese, Darnell's is onion rings and Nene's is cinnamon toast

-Pico and Darnell spar kind of a lot. Sometimes when angry, sometimes when just bored. Darnell is usually the one to patch both of them up afterward

-Darnell usually walks Nene home at the end of the day, once the three are done hanging out. He's mostly just wanting to make sure she doesn't try to hurt herself on the way back. Pico tags along too, just in case anyone else tries to jump on them. Safety in numbers and all that.

-Nene can and will run her mouth off to anyone to listen to her special interest, seals. Usually, that person is Pico. He doesn't exactly care for the animal, but he hates not having any noise going on, to keep any bad thoughts away

On their relationship with Boyfriend (when not hired to kill him at least):

-Boyfriend and Pico, of course, dated for a bit of time, having met when BF was on an unguided tour of (read, broke into) the Newgrounds hq. The two hit it off pretty good, at least, at first. Boyfriend found Pico's contract killer life a bit too much for him, something that gave him a mild case of insomnia. Pico, having experienced what he did and having never forget what it did to him, agreed he didn't want BF to go through what he did and agreed to break it off after they talked it out. He didn't exactly feel he could leave the life behind, anyways, what would his friends say?

-Darnell and Boyfriend get along great. The two of them follow each other on Soundcloud at least, and they often hang out. The two actually collabed on a song. "Fresh - Boyfriend Mix" - which was a gift for GF.

-Nene, as soon as he heard BF and Pico broke up, immediately went like, "Oh, you want me to kill em then?", something Pico had to correct pretty fast. BF thankfully went by unharmed, mostly, but still gets a little nervous around Nene. Pico assures him that Nene won't just up and kill him without reason, but BF likes to play it a bit more cautious. She does love her knives after all.

On their relationship with Girlfriend:

-when the ex of your lover is still their friend, things can usually be a bit contentious, but GF doesn't want it to be that way. This is why she's usually super nice to Pico whenever he's around. She's usually the one to pay for stuff when she, BF and Pico's crew hang around, rich parents and all. Pico finds it a bit odd, but isn't gonna just turn down her hospitality. He does find it odd, though, that BF broke up with him because his lifestyle was too much...and then went on to date a demon.

-Darnell and GF both have a mild fascination with fire, so they usually bond over that. Sometimes, they go out back to her family's trash pit just to throw shit in and watch it burn. Boyfriend sometimes joins as well, but he has a bit habit of leaning too close in and getting his hat caught on fire.

-Nene and GF are fairly good friends. The two hang out a lot for 'gal's nights out', where they chat about their friends, family, and usually just watch shit on Newgrounds together. One special time, GF was going on about how BF and GF protect each other, and Nene mentions her contract killer gig, and brings up if anyone wanted to hurt Boyfriend. Girlfriend shut the idea down there, stating 'if anyone tries to hurt boyfriend, their not even gonna have time to smell his breath before I come in to take them out.' Nene was all, 'heh, yeah right. I'm sure if I wanted, I could kill 'em', Girlfriend wanted to challenge that, something that Nene agreed to and, no less than twelve hours later, Nene woke up in a hospital bed from the fight she tried to start with her. Thankfully, GF agreed to pay the medical bill.

"Y/n! Dinner is ready!" he yelled from downstairs, setting the table and waiting for you to come eat. He had been cooking himself lately, spending more time in the kitchen since he noticed you weren't eating as much.

He thought maybe you were finding it difficult to cook or maybe you just didn't know what to eat. This evening he made your favourite, in hopes that you would eat something. But when you gave no response and didn't show up at the table, he got worried.

He rushed upstairs and knocked softly on you bedroom door, not wanting to startle you. "Y/n, baby, are you okay?" he asked through the door, waiting for your answer.

"Y-yeah, I'm not hungry" you mumbled back weakly, making him pout, he could hear the sadness in your voice. Were you crying?

He opened the door worriedly, inhaling sharply and hoping you don't snap at him. Once he was inside, his eyes landed on your half-naked figure, leaning against the full body mirror, eyes closed as you quietly sobbed.

"Hey, hey baby" he called out, running at you and taking you in his arms "Shh, It's okay, it's alright" he assured, lightly running his hands through your hair, trying to calm you down.

"Now I know you can't quite eat at the moment, but please do try" he pleads "And I don't want you staining your pretty face with tears anymore" he scolds, kissing your soft lips once again.

Things were getting heated between you two. You sat on his lap, his big hands holding your waist, lightly grinding you against him. His plush lips were on yours, his tongue exploring your mouth. His hands were wandering down to the hem of your hoodie, tugging at it gently.

"Can I take it off?" he asks, breathing heavily below you. You think about it for a second. Your body has changed a lot recently and you worry about what he would think if he saw you naked.

"Y/n? Baby you alright?" he asked you, noticing you zoning out in your thoughts.

"Ughh- yeah, sure" you reply, letting him take off the hoodie, leaving you in your bra. His hands hesitantly pulled of the fabric, noticing the way you dodged his question at the beginning. He payed close attention to your expression once he did, making sure you weren't uncomfortable or anything.

He looked at your unsure expression. "Here, I'll take mine off too" he offers, pulling his tee off his head. He wondered why you were behaving like this since you've did this quite a couple of times already. Did he do something wrong?

He pushed his thoughts away as you lean back in, kissing him a little harder this time. When he places his hands on your bare hips, you audibly whimper, your body squirming, trying to get away from his touch.

Just as his hands are about to reach your thighs, he feels a wet tear against his cheek, immediately pulling away when he notices you crying. "S-shit Y/n, what's the matter baby?" he asks, worried that he did something wrong "Did I make you feel uncomfortable?"

You shake your head no and he visibly relaxes, relief washing over him. "Than what is it sweetheart?" he questions, his hands coming up to stroke your cheek.

"Do I look ugly?" you ask, your hands covering your face, attempting to hide from him.

"What?" he asks back, completely dumbfounded "Why would you say that?"

"My body is u-ugly" you sniff, breathing shakily as your body shudders "I'm sorry Soob, I've lost s-so much weight and it's j-just not me anymore"

He sighs sadly, his arms wrap around your torso as he brings you down onto his larger body, hugging you close as you sob into his bare shoulder. "You don't need to apologize love, it's not your fault you can't eat properly at the moment" he assured, gently petting your hair "I don't mind if you lose weight or gain weight, its just a number anyway"

You breathe deeply as relief washes over you, trying to calm down and stop your tears. You pull away and sniff, his thumbs wiping away your tears. You nod and breathe shakily. "I'm sorry for ruining the moment" you apologize, sniffing once again "I just didn't know how you'd react since my form changed a little" you explain.

"No need to apologize sweetie" he reassures "It's totally fine, actually, do you want to watch a movie instead?" he asks sweetly, rubbing your sides gently.

You nod happily, getting dressed once again and settling under the covers with him as he puts on your favourite movie.

"I love you Y/n"

"I love you too Soobs, thankyou"

★ Choi Beomgyu ★

It was a nice afternoon and you and Beomgyu decided to go to the mall and get some new clothes for you, since he's been complaining about you stealing his shirts.

You went around the whole store, finally picking out some nice-looking shirts that matched your vibe or the he randomly picked out for you because he thought would look good on you.

He grabbed your hand, pulling you to the changing rooms, so you could try them on before buying them. Once you were both in the little cube, his hands were on your hips, his lips on your lips, kissing you deeply.

"Ugh, I missed you so much baby" he whined dramatically after he pulling away, making you playfully roll your eyes at him. You've literally been with him the whole day. "Can I watch you change?" he asked you all of a sudden.

"Woah, that totally didn't sound perverted" you scoff sarcastically. You were starting to feel anxious. You didn't want him to see you like this; half naked, when you couldn't even look at yourself half naked.

"Does that mean I could stay?" he asks hopefully, waiting for your answer.

"Uhh, I don't know Beommie" you admit, suddenly looking down, hoping he wouldn't ask why.

"Why? Do I make you nervous?" he asks joking, poking your sides and flicking his eyebrows up and down. You giggle at his actions but still don't give him an answer.

He suddenly gets serious. "Seriously Y/n, why? Did I do something wrong?" he asks, paying close attention this time.

"No Beommie, it's not that" you trail off, but he looks at you expectantly, encouraging you to continue "It's just that my body changed a l-lot and you might not like what you see"

His eyes widen in disbelief, eyebrows not visible in his fringe. "W-what?" he questions in disbelief "That's so silly Y/n, you know I'd always like you no matter what" he assures, sitting down on the little stool in the fitting room.

"Come here" he pats his thighs, making you sit in his lap. "Hey, I know you weren't able to eat that much lately which is why you've noticed a change in your body, but just know that whatever body type you have, I'll still love you the same, okay?" he assured, placing his hands on your hips and smiling up at you lovingly.

You nodded at him, leaning down to hug him, breathing in his comforting scent in the process. "Now get off me and try on these shirts for me" he ordered "Can you do that for me honey?" he batted his eyelashes at you, pressing s kiss to your forehead before you got up.

He couldn't stop throwing heart-felt compliments at you after every top you tried on, wolf whistling when you took off a top to try on another. "Fuck, I have the sexiest girlfriend"

★ Kang Taehyun ★

It was already about dinner time and you and Taehyun had just arrived home after a whole day at the gym. He loved working out, but especially when you were there; either watching him or working out with him.

You entered the bathroom, ready to take a quick shower when he opened the door, not knowing you were already in there. "Tae!" you quickly grab a towel and cover up your naked body, making him furrow his brows in confusion.

"What's the matter babe?" he asks you "You know this isn't the first time I'm seeing you naked right?" he says rather cockily, smirking at you.

You breathe out shakily. How were you going to tell him? You had changed so much recently, how would he react? Your heart sank at his question.

"Can we shower together?" he questions hopefully. You had already showered quite a couple of times before so it shouldn't be a big deal right??

"Umm" you think about it for a second, watching him as he takes off his top, showing off his ripped body. He was so confident with his body that it made you self conscious. "I don't know" your voice is unsure.

"Oh come on Y/n" he encourages "I won't get soap in your eyes I promise" he's taking his pants off, waiting for your answer.

"You can shower first, it's fine I can wait" you smile, already making your way out the door.

"But I wanna shower with you" He whines, trying his best to convince you. "Showering without you is cold and boring" he complains with a pout. He notices you dodging the action and wonders why.

Your face suddenly turns down into a frown, your eyes welling slightly as you try not to cry in front of him and embarrass yourself. You breathe out shakily, holding back your tears.

"Hey Y/n, it's okay, we don't have to shower together" he assures, giving you some space. "If you want to shower alone it's fine, but please tell me why. Did I do something wrong?" he asks, wanting to know why you've gotten so upset suddenly.

"No Tae, not at all" you mumble "It's just that I'm not as confident with my body" you say, voice laced with sadness and disappointment at yourself.

His heart sinks when he hears you say that. "What do you mean Y/n? You know I love you and your body no matter what" he comforts, now coming closer and embracing you.

"Y-yeah but now my body has changed a little" you explain, burying your face in his firm chest. You breathe in deeply, blocking away the tears.

"I don't care if your body changes or not, it's still your body and I'll always love it" he admits "Plus, I don't love you for your body Y/n"

"But you have such a nice body compared to me" you whine, feeling him hug you closer.

"You know I only work out so I can carry heavy things for you right? The muscles are only a bonus" he explains, making you giggle.

"Ew, you're so sweaty Tyun. You need a shower" you say suddenly.

"I won't shower unless you shower with me" he clarifies stubbornly.

He ends up praising you endlessly, making you blush whilst he gently lathers your gorgeous body up in soap, complimenting each part he washes.

★ Huening Kai ★

The day was finally here. You were seeing Kai after a few months since he's been on tour. You were feeling quite nervous, your body has changed a lot of and you worried about what he'd think. Would he even recognise you?

You were getting ready, when you hear the front door open. You run downstairs in shock, only to be more shocked when you see him at the door, already here.

"Surprise!" he announces, a big smile plastered on his adorable face.

"You're home early" you say, running up to him and giving him a big hug. He can't help but notice a change in your body. You seemed shorter, or perhaps smaller??

He doesn't say anything not wanting to upset you or ruin the mood, being happy to finally see you.

You were glad he hasn't said anything about your appearance. Maybe it was more unnoticeable than you though which is why he hasn't noticed anything yet.

Its only until dinner time when he confronts you about it. He's happy to see you trying to eat, but he wonders if you ate while he was away or if you have been forgetting to eat. He felt upset that he didn't remind you to eat over text.

"Uhh Y/n, have you been eating while I was away?" he asks, making you inhale sharply. You knew he would ask sooner or later.

"Uhh yeah. Well I tried to eat" you admit, watching him frown.

"What do you mean? Were you skipping meals?" he questions again, this time slightly worried than before.

"No no, I wasn't skipping meals, it's just that I wasn't really able to eat these past weeks that's it" you explain, giving him valid reasons to why you weren't eating as much.

He knew you were being truthful, relief taking over him since he was already starting to blame himself.

"I was actually a little worried" you admit "You know, about what you'd think when you saw me again" you explain.

He sighs "Y/n I hope you know that I don't mind your body. You could be short, tall, chubby, thin, I don't really care" he assures "I'm just trying to look out for you, as long as you're healthy it's okay" he smiles again, reaching over the table to hold your hand.

"I love you Y/n. And not just for your body"

"I love you too Kai"

I ....l have no words like I have had this happen to me before but I also came up with a second part in my head to this one-shot by @munson-blurbs where basically Eddie finally confesses to Chrissy cause he has heard that her and Jason has broken up and she tells him that she's probably see him as a close friend or like a brother to her and also tells him like "what about your girlfriend?" And his like "Girlfriend... what girlfriend I don't have one.? and she basically talks about how she thought him and y/n seemed like Gf and Bf and with all the stuff y/n has mentioned in this (the story above) but he's like nooo she just my best friend and mean while y/n has been avoiding hellfire club (not Gareth cause he was the only one that noice that she was never there just everyone else especially Eddie) and after a while everyone starts getting worried over where she is and if shes mad at them for some reason but eventually she comes back and everyone is happy to see her back but she seems different and they see that like how close she was with Eddie is now how close she was with Gareth (not as close but the fact she seeked comfort from Gareth and not Eddie seems unusual) and that she's distance herself and hangs around Gareth more often then Eddie and it frustrates him and eventually he finds y/n on her own and he asks "Did I do something?" And she's like what? Cause he caught her off guard and he repeats himself and she tries to play it off like '....I don't know what your talking about." And after getting no where talking with her she finally escape the conversation and he goes to Gareth to see if he knows what he did wrong And Gareth tells Eddie that now he knows how y/n feels and Eddie like what do you mean? and Gareth is gets mad and say "man....for a guy who's I thought was really smart you sound like such a dumbass right now. And he tells Eddie without telling Eddie that she had feelings for him and he stumped cause he didn't think until now that she liked him like that and he at first feels terrible about it and then feels determined to get back on her good side with many different ways all but failing until eventually she starts hanging out with him again more one on one's with him and he loves that he has her back in his life and finally feels like almost everything is back to normal but she still doesn't do those things she did with him before and he starts to get upset every time she mentioned Gareth and he talks to Jeff , Doug, Argyle or all three all about how he feels and they says (Jeff) Eddy it sound like your jealous.(Doug) Yeah man. or (Argyle) man...it's sound to me that your in love brochacho. Once that happens he takes sometime to processes that he might actually like y/n and cause you know he still kinda of denying that he likes y/n and after finally facing the fact that he likes y/n he then start doing the stuff that y/n did with him and (if you need a reminder look that the story above this) after a hellfire club dnd section everyone see y/n and Gareth like talking in a corner and being all secretive about something and everyone asks what their talking about after y/n and Gareth quietly argue about if they should really tell them or what eventually telling them that they are together and Eddie's like "Oh...thats..that's great fantastic even for you guys." trying to seem alright when in reality his whole world is coming down and he doesn't know what to do but he then turns to Jeff or Doug or both of them looking at him like he/they feels bad for him and now he truly feels how she felt all those months back when she used to have feelings for him.

Baldur's Gate 3 is still letting me do things, and with my strategy of playing this game during all of my free time to distract from December, I have done things all the way to the end of it! And immediately am starting a new game, because of course I am.

Let's get this tragedy out of the way first and then go into spoilers:

Presented with the option to give Mother the MacGuffin, Miette naturally refused. Listen. She got Wyll out of his pact. She stopped a big ol' vampiric ascension and turned hundreds of vampire spawn loose in the Underdark. She killed a devil who had been harassing her all game and stole all his stuff. No one tells her she can't do something, especially not Mother.

(Also she didn't drag that fancy magic hammer out of Hell for nothing, and Lae'zel was her cherished fuck-buddy for like four whole days, so no. Mother cannot eat Orpheus.)

Which means I got the Patricia Lockwood heel-turn. Then Orpheus called Miette out for fucking a mindflayer (in front of all her friends, who had magically forgotten about that), which was rude, but she still turned into a mindflayer herself partially so he wouldn't have to but mostly so she could be the tall one.

SIZE MEDIUM, BITCHES. Now Miette is the one who opens the cupboards and the cans! Now Miette is the one who kicks YOUR body like the football! (During that final battle, it was actually Karlach who kicked mindflayers off the edge of the brainship, but close enough, shhh.)

I would like to stress that Miette consumed zero tadpoles prior to this, because Mother told her to and she doesn't obey Mother. "Embrace Your Potential" has languished in the quest log. We just went zero to eldritch horror in a snap. Like damn, I could have had these abilities all along??

The only downside, as far as Miette is concerned, is that she can't wear the jutilated jarapace anymore. :( A tragedy second only to the Karlach situation. (Well, not second to the entire Karlach situation, because her breakdown after killing Gortash made me fucking cry.)

Then I ran into the consequences of making everyone prance around camp in sexy underwear combined with my decision to yoink Halsin's armor without replacing it with anything:

He showed up like this AGAIN in the background of the ending during a very emotional Karlach moment, too:

idk if it's a bug or intentional that the ending skipped ahead without any more character interactions after Miette decided to relocate to Avernus with ex-bf Wyll and never-gf Karlach, but I want to believe everyone just wanted to wrap things up after this.

The reunion epilogue was very sweet and I had to spend three (3) points of inspiration not to freak out and eat Shadowheart's brain, which feels like a very Miette sendoff. Though not as much of a Miette sendoff as me stubbornly trying to change her clothes for five straight minutes because why can't she wear her sexy lingerie anymore.

The moral of the story is that mindflayers deserve fashion rights.

Speaking of fashion rights, I want to find out what this "Dark Urge" origin is, and I made the perfect woman for the job:

Well, I fucking did it again - godson birthday and I fucked it up.

I had no idea he hadn't told his mother that his gf had him download one of those tracking apps and I just met her today (and finally learned her name)

Of course the wife asked about the app and what I was talking about and I offhandedly told her it was one of those apps parents use to keep and eye on the location of their kids. That I've seen them used sneakily by the parents and that usually it's used by stalkerish partners.

She asked about his gf and I told her he had told the brother and I that she had him download it and they had a fight about it when he had come to stay with us the weekend after eating out together cause she had checked his location and he wasn't where he said (he hadn't told her he would be eating out before we went home). That she and her mother had "blown his phone up" (his words atm) after and the brother had told him to turn his location off and that was that.

I brought up that I and the brother thought it was disgusting behavior and that we didn't like that. Of course a week after they had patched thing up.

The wife asked what I thought of her? And I laughed, "she's a selfish girl, I get it cause imma a selfish toxica- which is why I don't do relationships and I tell other to not ask for relationship advice. I'm selfish, I want that person for me and that's it. Imma toxica."

Wife didn't say anything after and we sat quietly for a second until the godson came out and she blew up on him about it.

I had no idea she would react that way. She demanded he delete it and went on about that was why she didn't like the girl and so on and so forth. I apologized cause I had no idea and she went on saying it wasn't my fault her own son wouldn't tell her these things and his friend stood there quietly watching (as one does when their friend is getting in trouble).

After the godson went inside and the friend sat down for a moment. I asked if she was selfish or if I had called it wrong? He agreed but said nothing more. I don't know this girl. I felt bad for ruining the day.

Then his other friend came out with the godson and a discussion was had. He didn't like his friend being called spoiled once the wife called her that. And went on to explain that she has had a hard life up till now, that her parents keep food from her and she doesn't get to eat (which is why she didn't eat). Went on to say she holds a front up due to her parents and the abuse they put her through and that she leans heaving on the godson due to him being so kind.

The wife brought up again that she didn't like her being spoiled and that I agreed. The godson pointed out I said selfish, not spoiled and the other two agreed. I said selfish cause when I find someone I like I hold onto them and don't like to share and the friend said that was what the gf was doing. Because the godson is so good and healthy for her she doesn't want to let go and wants to hold onto him.

The wife brought up the tracking app and they said it was a curious question the godson saying that it wasn't as bad as he initially had said. The friends saying she was just 17yo girl wondering where her bf was when he said another thing. But then mentioned that she puts a front to guard herself and the wife didn't like that either. Which I brought up that being oneself in front of others is hard when your not sure about them (will they act like their abusers? Terror).

It was a fucking mess.

Then his friend brought up, respectfully, that the godson shut down when the wife spoke to him initially cause she was openly aggressive and dismissive instead of listening to him. He pointed at me and said that I had a calmer tone and explained, asking questions. This made the wife pause and the godson stood quietly. I asked him if his friend was right? And he said partially. That I listen and ask him follow up questions, that I explain where I am coming from. But that he also knows that she is trying to protect him even if he doesn't know, but that I open the door for him to speak up. Which is something the wife does struggle with.

I think we got more of her story out of his friends than the godson and I pointed that out. He said he didn't want to bring her out cause of this reason, that his mom didn't like her. But I said I'm a selfish person and his mom cares about me, she really does care more about others than herself but hiding her away isn't the right way. She can come out and be herself, even if slowly and she agreed. Cause I was already picking (affectionately) on the girl right off lol but it was right to her face and she understood my tone of voice (this is also something the wife struggles with, many people struggle to understand her humor).

It ended with apologies all around. He brought his gf out and we had a discussion about (idk how we got on the topic) of weight-loss and music. She's a fire dancer which I think is cool and the wife agreed, the girl opened up immediately as we asked what music she danced to? And she asked for our input, I told her Rhianna was a guarantee always and the wife agreed.

I did pull the godson aside before I left apologizing for having started everything and he said he was grateful to have had the conversation and it wasn't my fault. He said he had to learn how to say things to his mom more but that having me and his friends help cooled the argument down. 😭😭😭

The wife was sad she couldn't get him a proper birthday gift but he said he was happy cause she made him yummy chicken enchiladas and got him cake and ice cream. He said he didn't need any gifts and she pointed out the brother and my gift and we laughed-we do not have children or other grown adults to pay for and so can spend money when we want to.

The godson was off to spend the night out watching his gf dance and would sleep at his friends after.

I gotta learn to keep my mouth shut man.

1. JK calling her baby constantly “Baby, babe, my baby, angel” yes im so weak for this shit🤯

2. Girlfriend - Boyfriend 🥳🥳🥳 fucking finally!!!

3. So so so proud of my baby oc standing up to her mum!! Bring it on! Though i hope down the story that they’ll reconcile!! Just like what cmi jk said, i think deep down her parents do love her. Its not just enough or maybe shown in different ways. Even parents and children irl have different love languages. But I want this to happen for them. I know they are at peace but having both their families by their side as they go through their relationship will be so reassuring and special ❤️

4. Mama Jeon 🥹 I feel like oc will get the love and comfort she craves from a mother from JK’s mum 😭 i already love her character!! And when Jk called her “Mama” I FREAKIN SWOONED

5. My favourite part of all this madness was the pregnancy scare. JK looking for her all over and his panic state, crying and his line “I’m gonna kill someone if I don’t find her..” oh my heart broke because he just wants to know she’s okay and she’s safe. It is sad truly that his first thought was he fucked up, when he didn’t. If I were JK, I would think its oc who did something wrong but I’m not wired like cmi JK, i have evil thoughts and trust issues 😐🤣

6. When oc said “You’ll leave me, because you’ll be mad.” I just wanna hug her so bad :( the trauma of people leaving and her experience of jk leaving her the first time 😭😭😭 my heart broke for the both of them tbh :((

7. I understand oc’s fear. Things are just looking up in both their careers and they are only starting their relationship. Not saying a baby is unwanted and will jeopardise what they have atm, but the arrival of a little one will surely change some things. BUT I WANT A LITTLE ONE SOON! A mini oc to give jk a heart attack 😌😌

8. The way jk reassured her - how you wrote jk seeing her face and he just rushed to her and hugged her without knowing what the heck was going on. 😢

Prev anon. I've been hearing too much salt on how s5 has completely ruined the show and how the characters are just stagnant and never developing. Do you have an analysis of that? Thanks.

I mean, I think it's safe to say that if people are saying that about s5, they're not watching the show. This season has had the most rapid and obvious development for characters, the issue is that some people just don't like it.

"I don't like it, therefore it's bad."

They shut down the logic part of their brain because they're upset and refuse to hear any reason. But this season has given us so much if people are willing to set aside their bitching and moaning for a minute. I'm going to be discussing out of order episodes from later in the season (but no leaks) during this, so if anyone hasn't watched Protection, Emotion, Pretension, or Revelation, keep on scrolling.

So truthfully, a lot of this development started in s4. Season 4 planted the seeds, and now season 5 is reaping the harvest. Marinette's insecurity around being in love/a relationship while being Ladybug started in s4. Chat Noir falling out of love with Ladybug started in s4 (yes, it did if you look). Adrien was slowly falling for Marinette all throughout season 4. The signs were all there, so what's happening in s5 isn't really that surprising in retrospect. I've talked about it all before, but let's look more into how things have developed specifically in s5.

This season had several things it needed to work on with them: The LadyNoir partnership, Marinette's fear of love, and Adrien's home situation. Let's talk about each one.

The LadyNoir partnership

Let's get this one out of the way because it's what people are most salty about, and I think it's the one that resolves the quickest. How their development was "ruined" and how being just friends is a "detriment" to their dynamic. A major conflict from s4 was her not relying on Chat Noir and trying to do everything herself. We the audience know that played a huge part in why things ended up the way they did in Strike Back. In Ephemeral, we learn that she could have solved the akuma way faster if she just had Chat Noir around, but Chat Noir wasn't around because of their on-going conflict. He felt like she didn't need him because she was pulling away as a result of her new guardian responsibility, and the more he pulled away, the more she had to pull in other heroes to help. It wasn't really intentional on her part because she was dealing with a lot, and that's something Chat Noir came to understand throughout the season. Strike Back when she shows up at his house and completely breaks, he sees firsthand how stressed she is, so he reaches out to begin the healing process for both of them. She even points out that she pushed him away, but he helps her focus on fixing everything rather than being upset at her. That opens the door for them to heal in season 5.

In Evolution, she trusts Chat Noir with the rabbit Miraculous and steps back to follow his lead. She's done that several times this season as a means of fixing their partnership. Chat lifts her up when she has doubts. He's been helping her move past her mistake and focused on helping her fix it. Last season was rough for both of them, but Adrien had a lot of forward momentum coming out of that season that he is using in s5 to help Ladybug find her footing now that she had the rug ripped out from underneath her. They said it in Deflagration that their duo is the only one that works. They've learned to rely on each other again. And ya know what? It works. By Perfection they're back in sync and perfectly at ease with each other. Their partnership is strong again after s4 put them through the ringer. They're pushing the boundaries of their identities by gushing about their real life bf/gf, something Ladybug would have shutdown before. Their partnership is healing, and they're focusing on getting the Miraculous back.

S4 was hard for a lot of people to watch because they were fighting all the time. This season, they've worked to fix that and worked through their issues, which included Chat's persistent attempts to romance her. That was a source of conflict since s1, people just ignored it because they know she's actually in love with his civilian side, but Ladybug has gotten onto him several times over the course of the show about it. She made her stance clear that she wasn't in love with him, and he needed to respect that. Glaciator 2 really hammered that point home for him, and that coupled with everything else from s4 is why we have the Adrien we do in s5. He's more patient with Marinette, he's not pushy, he tries really hard to make sure she's comfortable, he listens to her.

And before anyone says any type of shit about how Adrinette "stole" LadyNoir's development, I will remind you they're the same fucking people and shut up. The sides aren't separate. They're all working together toward achieving a common goal: a healthy, post-reveal relationship. All sides have to get development for that to happen, and the development of one side is going to impact another one because they're the same people. It wouldn't make sense for Chat Noir to learn to respect Ladybug's boundaries, then turn around and push past Marinette's. The fact that he did learn to respect boundaries and is demonstrating that he learned that is, say it with me now, c h a r a c t e r d e v e l o p m e n t.

I'm not sure where people are getting off saying they're not developing or that their characters are "ruined" because that is just not what's happening on screen at all. The other sides aren't "dead" and Adrinette didn't "win" the love square. Treating the sides as separate entities in competition with one another rather than 4 parts of a whole working toward harmony is reductive and demonstrates a lack of understanding of the characters. The LadyNoir development this season was a long time coming since their conflict started in s4, and I can guarantee you it's going to be for the benefit of the ship overall in the long run. We can't see what the writers have planned for future seasons, so we don't know what points are crucial for them to get to this season. Not liking something isn't the same as something being objectively bad. Platonic LadyNoir isn't bad, nor is prereveal canon Adrinette. They are both serving a purpose, which brings us to our next topic.

Marinette's fear of love

Let's move onto Marinette and her specific issues and how she's overcome them this season. People have claimed her being afraid to love Adrien this season doesn't make sense when episodes like Chat Blanc exist where she immediately started dating him with no problems, but in true salter fashion, they're ignoring a lot of context and shit that happened after that episode. We had a whole season and a half after Chat Blanc before Adrinette started dating in s5, so I think it's safe to say they're in a much different place now than they were then. Ephemeral was a halfway point between Chat Blanc and s5 of sorts because in Ephemeral, she didn't immediately fall for Chat Noir when she learned he was Adrien, she was conflicted because we already had plot in motion for her being conflicted about being in love while being a superhero. (plus there was also the ongoing LadyNoir conflict in s4)

Now in s5, we have her post-Strike Back where she made a crucial error that cost her and everyone tremendously because she was blinded by love (in her eyes, we know there were several other factors at play). Those types of events tend to affect people. That in and of itself is development. Development isn't always linear or forward progressing. Sometimes characters regress and fall in pitfalls and mess up. It's ultimately what does propel them forward. That's what happened to Marinette at the beginning of the season. She made a huge mistake and was clearly grappling with that. This season for her is about coming to terms with her mistakes and healing from that while she works to fix everything. It's about learning to forgive herself and calm down about love. The mistake set in motion all of the strides she's made since.

Let's take a look at the second half of the season as we have it (I know we are still missing a lot of episodes, but the later episodes we do have are very telling). Take Perfection, Marinette is still more or less the Marinette we know when it comes to Adrien. She's flustered, she comes up with crazy schemes to confess her feelings, she panics, she runs away, she worries over messing everything up again. A few episodes later in Protection, we see her finally starting to calm down because Adrien is finally starting to help her. And, no, I'm not saying it was ever his responsibility before to help her because he literally didn't know about her feelings. We are missing some context between Perfection and Protection, but we know something happens and Adrien finds out that Marinette has been panicking around him this whole time. He admits to Kagami that he never realized before that she was so uncomfortable around him, and now he wants to help her overcome that. So, he puts in the effort to recognize when she's flustered or acting crazy and do things to help her calm down. Like when he changes into his pajamas because she's in her pajamas. He probably just figured she freaked out when he texted her to come over and didn't want her to feel embarrassed (which is ridiculously sweet).

Marinette's trauma surrounded love, particularly her love for Adrien. I know a lot of people salted on Alya in Elation when she was questioning Marinette's newfound feelings for Chat Noir, but honestly, she was kind of right. I'm not saying Marinette's feelings for Chat Noir weren't genuine, but it was incredibly obvious this entire season that she was still in love with Adrien and instead of facing her mistakes and issues, she was running away from them. It's not about how she felt about Chat Noir. She was traumatized, and instead of working through that trauma, she was avoiding it. Elation and the Kwamis Choice episodes taught her that she shouldn't run from her problems because it only makes things worse.

Transmission/Deflagration were important key steps for Marinette related to that trauma. In the beginning of Transmission, she's feeling hopeless and heartbroken. The weight of the world is crushing her, and she feels like she can't escape it. She still thinks she can't be in love and be Ladybug at the same time. It's not about her feelings for either Chat Noir or Adrien anymore. She genuinely thinks that she will only ever make mistakes if she loves someone, anyone, and that's something she needed to heal from. Their relationship has been an uphill battle this whole time. Even after he confesses his feelings, and she more or less confesses hers, she still can't bring herself to say it out loud or even hold his hand at lunch. Her trauma is a huge hurdle she's working on this season, and I think the class actually makes things worse for her. They do genuinely want her to be happy, but no one (save Alya) knows why she's hesitant. To them, she's just being crazy old Marinette.

That's why I think Adrien's reaction to her this season is extremely important. Everyone else is being pushy and insisting they need to kiss and confess their love and have big grand amazing romantic moments, but Adrien learned in s4 that those types of things aren't necessary and can even be bad. And that is ultimately what Marinette needs. Ladybug (aka Marinette) told Chat Noir that's what she needed in s4, and Adrien listened and is now applying it to Marinette. And it's working. Marinette and Adrien make strides in Protection (episode 16) and by Emotion (episode 18) they're sitting on a beach together sharing ice cream and nearly kissing. No panic, no overthinking. Marinette doesn't jump to wild conclusions or blame him when he doesn't tell her about the Diamonds Dance. She doesn't sneak into the party just to see him or be with him like she did in the past. She goes to tell him that it's okay, she gets it, and she still loves him. That is HUGE development considering 7 episodes ago she was crying in her bed about how she can't be in love and confessing her love to a picture of a cow.

Then there's Pretension where she tries to plead their case to Gabriel. She's confident, she stands her ground, she doesn't let Gabriel tell her how to feel or let him manipulate her into caving the way he does to other people even though she's terrified. She makes sure Adrien knows that she still stands by him and won't let Gabriel come between them, which brings us to our last point.

Adrien's home life

Aka the center of the entire plot of the show up to this point. It's no secret that this season is wrapping up the Agreste plotline that we've been following since s1. I believe the creator has said it, and Gabriel getting cataclysmed in the arm is just a huge sign that this season is going to be final for him one way or another. Either he wins and makes his wish, or he dies.

A hugely important thing for the progression of their plot and for the love square was bringing Marinette closer to the action. They've been saying it since s3 that Marinette is the knight that needs to rescue Adrien from his evil father. It's a reverse fairytale of sorts where the girl is the one fighting to save the prince. Adrinette is accomplishing a two-fold mission in that regard. Adrien is helping Marinette heal her trauma surrounding love (particularly loving him), and Marinette is helping to free him from his shackles (his father). She tries to do it as herself by pleading with Gabriel to just let them be together and be happy, but we all know Gabriel is a snake bitch that's gonna need to have that lesson beaten into him. I presume, (this is Cat's speculation, not necessarily leaks) that will only be accomplished after Gabriel is defeated by Ladybug. Dating Adrien is just helping her to see past the perfect image Gabriel is fooling the rest of the world with. It's setting her right where she needs to be for the final conflict.

This season is showing that the love square is all connected. It's reminding us that they're the same two people. They're partners, they're friends, they're soulmates. Development on one side directly impacts another side. They're learning to lean on each other, to love each other in a way that works for both of them. They're fighting for each other. Marinette starts the season out really down on herself and afraid to love, and at the most recent episode we have aired, we have her being confident in their relationship, in her feelings. She and Adrien comfort each other and are openly affectionate to each other. Literally how is that not development? How are the characters remaining stagnant? This is the most they've grown this whole show, and they are thriving. By Revelation, they've healed their partnership and Marinette's love trauma. All that's standing in their way now is Gabriel and his penchant for cosplaying as an ugly purple man with a God complex. And personally, I can't wait to see them beat that bitch into submission.

TL;DR: The show isn't ruined. Some people just never understood what it was about.

so my brother got married a few months ago. I live in Florida and we got Halloween horror nights tickets for universal studios. I invited my brother and the night we are going , his wife will be out of town. I am still friends with his ex from when he was like in 12th grade. He’s 35 now, his wife found out and she called me and told me how I am disrespectful for inviting her and my brother. I don’t think it’s a big deal, she herself has a bf now who is coming with us too. But his wife is losing her shit. We got into it and I told her that she’s overreacting . Am I wrong ?

well this is a tricky situation and i'll answer it in the best way that i can as an unbiased third party. i can also try to answer this with the personal experience of having a brother with a fiancé, so i can understand where you're coming from.

family dynamics when it involves siblings with partners is always so hard to navigate. was your brother okay with you calling his ex to invite her? if he was okay with it and he has no issue with her coming along with her bf then that's great. the wife is probably coming at it from the perspective of my husband is hanging out with his ex gf and there could be room for weirdness to happen. i obviously don't know your sister-in-law and your brother but there's probably some form of jealousy and power dynamics involved. your brother's wife probably just finds it crossing a line. and you didn't think you were crossing a line. so now that you know she isn't cool with it it's all about how things play out. you can't uninvite his ex since it already happened. but if all parties are cool with it aside from your brother's wife then like i said, i think she finds the ex gf threatening or is just uncomfy with the situation. that is her issue to deal with and that doesn't fall on you, that falls on your brother to make sure he reassures his wife that things are okay.

sooooo this is a situation for your brother and his wife to handle honestly. words have already been said between you and her, and i think at this point you gotta dip lol. it's out of your hands now. let them sort it out and talk it out. you have time before Halloween to get this sorted. but your brother's marriage and his intimate relationship to his wife isn't something a sister needs to be concerned with. you don't want to be triangulated in their issues again in the future. there's a level of disconnection that's there, and you will always be on your brother's side naturally. so your bro has to deal with his marriage and communication with his wife, which isn't your problem. allow them to talk it out and see where the plans go from there.

while i don't think inviting the ex was technically the best move i don't think you were necessarily in the wrong. you thought you were doing something good and you weren't trying to make thing weird. like i said i obviously don't know your family im just making a common sense educated guess that his wife feels some form of threat from the ex. which is fine, but that's for her and your brother to deal with.

Final thoughts on Yumi's Cells S2 from 2022

Putting my YumBab thoughts here after- part of my closure.

The earthquake was really bad and heartbreaking and infuriating. I understand how Yumi feels, esp since it's one of her non-negotiables. I'm not a Babi apologist, but for some reason, I can't seem to totally crucify drama Babi. He tried to be nice and perfect, but he's human. Things like that happen, even to the best people. It was wrong and he realized it was wrong. And he took steps to correct it- selling his house, moving, then that somewhat rude goodbye to the girl. And he decided to remain committed to Yumi. To me that counts for something. But for Yumi, it was too late. Her trust was already broken. But more than being swayed or having a crush, the deal breaker for me was keeping everything from Yumi. Babi tried to "fix" everything by himself, yet whether he liked it or not, Yumi was involved. But that's me. Of course, it's different for Yumi. Admittedly, their LDR made their situation more difficult. Imagine if Babi had told Yumi about it over one of their Zoom dinners. Yikes! But it has to be done. Or he could have gone to Seoul. If it was serious enough for him to decide to sell his house, then it's serious enough for him to fly to Seoul to tell Yumi. Tell her you had a crush but didn't act on it. Apologize. Tell her you are committed to your relationship. Tell her your plans and maybe ask her if she thinks you're doing the right thing. Easier said than done, I know. Pero kasalanan mo. Pinabayaan mong lumaki yung daeun bulletin board mo eh. Now you gotta face the consequences. I don't know how Yumi would react, but it was best to be honest with her. Ang problem ng YumBab IMO, wala talagang open communication. Even after a year, nahihiya pa rin si Yumi ipakita na kaya nyang magmura.They don't share their real-est and deepest feelings. They don't show their "dark" sides. I read a tweet that said they always try to avoid confrontation. Agree with that. They both wanted to be the perfect bf/gf. Why are they both so scared of a little fight when that's part of a healthy relationship? Laging dinadaan sa kisses and hugs. Doubt was growing in Yumi after that first meeting with daeun. But instead of processing that feeling, she downplayed it. She allowed herself to be pacified by Babi's sweetness. When Yumi left Jeju, Babi said he wished that Yumi trusted him the way he trusted her. Gusto kong sigawan, eh itinago mo kasi eh! At least Yumi was willing to tell him about Woong on their first Christmas together. Babi should have come clean with Yumi. I don't know if that would have changed things, but being honest and upfront would have been better for both of them. Nadala nga ng emotions si Yumi nung nag reconcile sila. Pero yun pa rin ang tanong, pinag-usapan ba nila yung nangyari? Did they try to thresh out their issues? I was all for giving Babi another chance, pero naman, talk about what happened first. Deal with your issues, because they won't solve themselves. Parang they just got back together but didn't really try to work out those uncomfortable matters. They were just second guessing each other. Take the ring, for example. Puro assumptions sila. Tapos magpapakasal sila??!! Hawaii small wedding. Yan na naman si Babi thinking that a passionate kiss and a proposal would make everything alright. The reconciliation was good in the sense that it helped them realize that it wasn't meant to be. No more what ifs. I'm glad they still tried. Pero itong si Babi mukhang forever Yumi pa rin. TOTGA talaga. But this is all very ideal, of course. That doesn't and can't always happen irl. Many times we let emotions get the better of us. And that's not always a bad thing. I think YC showed that. But we continue to find our happiness and strive to live a good life.

I asked a really good guy friend who's not really into k-drama to watch YC2. Anyway, I mention him because we discussed YumBab's 1st breakup bec I wanted a male perspective. We agreed that Babi was wrong, but that they should have discussed the matter first. But he thinks Yumi's decision was too abrupt. When I said it was because of those little things about Babi that she initially dismissed, but eventually could no longer ignore, sabi nya she could have processed her growing anger instead of rationalizing. Yumi could still have given Babi another chance. To let that situation be a learning experience for both of them. When I told him that she was cheated on by an ex ex bf kaya ang taas na ng standards nya, he said we really should hold ourselves to high standards. But Yumi's was unrealistic na. He said ang ganda ng relationship nila and Babi has been a good bf. Yumi fought for herself, but she didn't even try to fight for their love. And their love is bigger and more precious than their mistakes. That was after the first breakup.

When he saw Ep12, he was surprised that Babi lied about the accident. My friend kept saying that what Babi did was wrong.

But all in all, I'm proud of Yumi for not giving up on herself and her dream despite everything she went through. It's so heartwarming to see her grow and mature into a strong woman who still has a healthy amount of self-doubt.

One of my best friends growing up who I've been trying to reconnect with was just telling me how he's been dating two people (in a thruple) and his boyfriend came all the way from California after basically being kicked out and my friend was going to help him get back on his feet and have him stay with him for a while but then my friend's girlfriend who had flown in all the way from ITALY for a visit decided she didn't want to do the thruple thing anymore and wanted my friend all to herself and made my friend choose between them. Which, I get decided you don't want to do the poly thing anymore or whatever (found out a few years ago I can't handle it at all myself), but Jesus fucking christ man that's terrible timing.

Like can't the gf just like, at least wait until they can get the other guy set up somewhere, find him a set of roommates? I understand you want to split the relationship up but don't make the guy live out of his car when he just thought he had a moment to catch his breath.

And @ my friend, you sure know how to pick them buddy. Your last long relationship involved an abusive crazy bitch, and this one involves two people who don't understand what the word "stability" means (neither of his current (ex?)partners is faultless, although this current situation I'm blaming mostly on the gf. The bf has caused plenty of trouble on his own tho).

I'm just glad the three of them hadn't all moved in together in Italy like they were planning too before this happened because holy fuck. At least my friend has some time to change his mind about one (or hopefully both of them) now.

(Yes ik I said the gf made him break up with the bf but my friend already regrets it and I wouldn't put it past him to send the gf packing and chase after the bf and apologize, or try to get the 3 of them to reconcile or something. I hope he just kicks them both to the curb tbh) (he's too much of a softie for that tho, he tends to hang on until there's no hope of any reconciliation left) (which gets him in shitty situations but I do the same thing so I can't really judge)

Khea Nultez - Khea wishes she was stronger, both physically and mentally. If she was stronger in those two ways, maybe she would've been able to save her brothers. If she was stronger, maybe she'd be more mature and would've not done the things she did to make her life more difficult. Maybe if she was stronger, she wouldn't be so afraid all the time. Tay'kaa Marr - Tay wishes he could say 'no,' more or know when to stop. Not in like a people-pleasing way (though that's part of it) but in a way he doesn't know how to back down from things, therefore putting him and others at risk. He's competitive, he can't help it, and he wishes he could. Viram Cossa - Viram wishes that she knew how to let things go. How to let friends, family, grudges, traditions, and ideas go for the greater good or for the sake of herself. She wished she didn't hold onto everything so desperately and tightly because in the long run, it just makes everything hurt all the more. Jung-Myn Yun - Jung lowkey wishes he was never a Jedi. He wishes he could've lived a normal life and not one of a Jedi Temple Guard, where you're stripped of your identity and individuality because maybe life would've been simpler. He would've been able to know who he was and would've avoided all the pain that came with being a Jedi.

Khea Nultez - Khea doesn't really care where she gets her clothes, as long as they fit and don't bother her, she'll wear them. However, she tends to get a lot of her things from places like Boot Barn or brands like Ariat because she's a cowgirl at heart. Tay'kaa Marr - Tay's a bit of a brand freak and wears like only Nike or Adidas. He has a bunch of 'sporty' or 'comfortable' clothes that are usually brand things because he thinks it's "cool." If you catch him wearing something that isn't a brand he's going to force you to never tell anyone. He also likes streetwear things, so places like OUTCHA work too! Viram Cossa - Viram likes to thrift or shop at little boutiques like Francesca's! She enjoys finding cute outfits and putting things together, never mind the fact that she's usually in scrubs all the time. She's not too picky really, so long as it's cute. Jung-Myn Yun - Jung kinda dresses like an 아줌마 ("Madame/older woman" in Korean, but also kinda a slang word for a certain style).
