#doctor joy#makoto makimura#joykoto#i'm making this ship a thing okay i like it#i think narratively it makes sense to me but also#it would be interesting after the events of 0#i don't think makoto would like to talk about what happened to her#even if she knew joy was there at some point#and joy can understand since she was there for some of it#but she wouldn't want to ask questions#she would want makoto to take some control of her life#even if not being open about those events leaves some worries for joy#however she finds in some ways makoto is happier just moving on and having her as a shoulder to lean on#there's an unhealed trauma there but there's also this sense of new beginnings for makoto and joy wants to be a part of that#having been invested in some of makoto's story and seeing the various people that cared for her#it would be interesting or at least it's interesting in my mind#yakuza 0#yakuza#rgg#ryu ga gotoku#like a dragon
