Liverpool dream line-up after Romeo Lavia transfer and one more signing
Tumblr media
Liverpool dream line-up after Romeo Lavia transfer and one more signing Liverpool has just 18 days before they face their first major challenge of the season, a match against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Both teams are eager to rectify the mistakes made in the previous campaign. Last season, Liverpool had a slow start which led to a decline in their performance, resulting in them missing out on the Champions League for the first time in six years. They cannot afford to repeat the same errors this time around. However, their task is made more complicated by the challenges in the transfer market that manager Jurgen Klopp is currently dealing with. Ideally, Klopp would have already signed his top targets and had them ready for pre-season preparations. While he successfully acquired Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai with relative ease, the subsequent attempts at signings didn't go as planned. Upon the players' return, bids from Saudi Arabia came in for Fabinho and Jordan Henderson. Fabinho received a £40m offer from Al Ittihad, while Al Ettifaq, managed by Steven Gerrard, put forward a £13m bid for Henderson. As a result, both players left the training camp immediately, leaving Liverpool with a shortage of midfield options.  Almost three weeks have passed since the events unfolded, and now both sagas are finally reaching their conclusions. Henderson's departure from Liverpool has been confirmed, and it's expected that Fabinho will proceed with his move after experiencing some delays. These departures have also put a halt on any discussions about a third midfielder joining the team. Earlier in the month, it seemed that signing a defensive midfielder was the missing piece of the puzzle. Despite the uncertainties caused by the departures, this position remains a priority. Romeo Lavia has emerged as the top candidate to fill the void in the midfield. At just 19 years old, he showed great potential during an impressive breakout season with Southampton last year.  There have been ongoing rumors about his potential transfer, and they have intensified recently. The ECHO reported that an initial offer of £38 million was rejected, but a follow-up offer is expected. Lavia holds promise for the team's long-term prospects. If the mentioned deal goes ahead and Fabinho departs the club, it is expected that Lavia will become an immediate starter. Moving from a relegated team to a club striving to reclaim their top four position or even compete for the championship is undoubtedly a step up. However, with Thiago currently injured, there seems to be no other viable option. Moreover, Lavia has already proven himself at the highest level, making it unwise to underestimate his abilities. As for further improvements before their match against Chelsea, the decision rests with Jurgen Klopp. If the available funds are only sufficient for either a new central defender or a midfielder, it might be wise to postpone the midfield rebuild until the following year. Looking at their preseason performance, Liverpool's first-choice defense has done well, not conceding any goals in 90 minutes of play. This defensive lineup consisted of Conor Bradley as an inverted full-back, Ibrahima Konate, Virgil van Dijk, and Andy Robertson, with Trent Alexander-Arnold temporarily playing as an outright no.6. However, there are concerns with the backup defense as players like Joe Gomez, Joel Matip, and Kostas Tsimikas, alongside academy youngsters, have conceded seven goals to second-tier German teams. There are vulnerabilities in both the left centre half position where Robertson and Tsimikas have attempted to fit into Klopp's new system, and in the cover provided by Matip and Gomez for injury-prone Konate. Levi Colwill is the player most heavily linked with Liverpool, but he might stay at Chelsea due to potential game time opportunities in London. Another reason Liverpool pursued the 20-year-old was his soon-to-be homegrown status, but Lavia from Manchester City's academy also offers similar benefits, providing more flexibility in targeting players. Liverpool has been linked with Perr Schurrs from Torino and Andreas Christensen from Barcelona. There are also rumors suggesting Liverpool could consider making an offer for Marquinhos from PSG, although it's unlikely given his age (29). Based on these speculations, the 'dream' line-up for the Premier League opener against Chelsea could include Lavia starting and Perr Schurrs brought in for defensive cover. However, since Schurrs might need time to settle into the team, Robertson would retain his position in the meantime. Liverpool's dream line-up to face Chelsea on Sunday, August 14th (3-2-2-3): Alisson; Ibrahima Konate, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson; Trent Alexander-Arnold, Romeo Lavia; Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai; Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz Liverpool dream line-up after Romeo Lavia transfer and one more signing Read the full article

January seemed to be a quiet month for the Reds in regards to transfers at first with it unlikely that the club was going to sign a new centre-back despite the injuries to Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez. Sadly for the club, those circumstances changed after our one and only remaining senior centre-back in Joel Matip picked up a season-ending injury too, which led the club to sign two new defenders on Deadline Day in the form of Ben Davies and Ozan Kabak. Davies joined on a permanent deal whilst Kabak signed on an initial six-month loan with an option to buy at the end of the season giving him a great opportunity to convince the club to sign him in the summer – but according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, the signing of Kabak doesn’t affect the club’s interest in RB Leipzig’s Dayot Upamecano, who has been a major target for the club over the past few months… 🔴 Doesn't affect Upamecano interest 🔴 Wouldn't have happened if Matip/Fabinho stayed fit 🔴 'Cleverness' of both signings@David_Ornstein was joined by @Simon_Hughes__ this week to discuss #LFC's chaotic deadline day… WATCH NOW 🎥 𝗔𝗦𝗞 𝗢𝗥𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗜𝗡 — The Athletic UK (@TheAthleticUK) February 4, 2021 What this means for Kabak’s future is unknown – I’m sure if the Turkish international can prove himself to the Liverpool staff and Jurgen Klopp that he is worthy of a permanent transfer during this period then the club will keep him on a permanent deal but if the Reds’ interest in Upamecano is still firm then that wouldn’t make much sense. As we know, Van Dijk, Gomez, and Matip will be back fit at the end of the season, and with the new addition of Ben Davies already on a permanent deal, bringing in Kabak AND trying to sign Upamecano as well would leave the Reds with six centre-backs which just wouldn’t make any sense. Did Liverpool have a successful January window? Yes Vote No Vote I personally think that if the interest in Upamecano still stands and the Reds manage to secure his signature – a future at the club for Kabak will be all but in the dust. What do you think Liverpool fans, will the club sign both centre-backs? Diogo Jota discusses Liverpools Premier League title hopes and weighs in on Darwin Nunezs begin to life on Merseyside
Diogo Jota has admitted that successful the Premier League this season ‘doesn’t appear viable’ however insists there’s nonetheless an extended solution to go within the marketing campaign. The Liverpool star returned from harm just lately and offered an help in Sunday’s disappointing defeat to Arsenal – a end result that left the Anfield outfit 14 factors behind the Gunners who occupy high spot. Though Jurgen Klopp’s facet are nowhere close to the place they wish to be in the mean time, the previous Wolves man is remaining upbeat. “Effectively, it is vitally onerous to say,” the Portugal worldwide stated (by way of Liverpoolfc.com). “Clearly final season we had, not an analogous state of affairs, however we had been far behind as effectively. “There are nonetheless quite a lot of video games to play. In the intervening time it doesn’t appear viable however we by no means know and clearly tomorrow it’s a completely different competitors. We’re in an excellent place and tomorrow we are able to make that place even higher, in order that’s what we would like.” READ MORE: Ex-Crimson weighs in on Klopp’s current tactical tweak and names the one man who ‘has to play towards Metropolis’ Within the Champions League thinks are barely higher for the Merseysiders. Following the embarrassing 4-1 defeat to Napoli on match day one, the Reds have defeated each Ajax and Rangers and are sat second in Group A. Sunday’s loss to Arsenal noticed Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip and Luis Diaz maintain accidents which is able to rule them out of tomorrow’s conflict with Rangers and past. Within the absence of the latter, our No. 20 mentioned whether or not he can impress on the left wing within the coming weeks. “Effectively, I’m able to play there – and to play whichever place the supervisor feels I’m necessary to the crew,” he added. “And like at all times, as a striker, as a winger, as a No.10, I might be on it with my 100 per cent finest as a result of that’s the best way I’m. So whether it is required for me to play completely different positions that’s what I’ll do.” One of many only a few positives that got here from our journey to the Emirates, nonetheless, was seeing Darwin Nunez’s identify again on the scoresheet. Our No. 27 netted his third aim since arriving from Benfica and regarded energetic towards Mikel Arteta’s facet. The Uruguayan has struggled since arriving on Merseyside however Jota is hopeful that the striker will impress towards the Glasgow-based outfit tomorrow. “Effectively, I feel like in life generally you recover from issues,” he continued. “Clearly he began very well and folks had been beginning to suppose his adaptation was by no means an issue however possibly it required a number of extra video games to get used to that degree that he confirmed us and he confirmed everybody final 12 months. “And with this run of video games he’s having, he has already scored and I feel he’s discovering himself in a greater place and folks within the squad are understanding his recreation higher. So it’s good for everybody and tomorrow might be extra proof of that, I hope.” Unique: Liverpool preserving a detailed eye on 4 Galatasaray skills as European scouts flock to Istanbul  Originally published at Sacramento News Journal

what i think of some of the liverpool squad
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain -
Extremely underrated. Hasn’t been the same since his injury. He seems to be plagued with injuries. Wouldn’t be surprised if he left at the end of this season, feel very bad for him sitting on the bench all the time. At this point I’ve been thinking he’s done something to make Kloppo absolutely hate him because he never plays. Would also just like to thank him for making Perrie Edwards a MILF and a Liverpool fan x
Joe Gomez-
Funny guy, wish he played more often but unfortunately he is simply not up to the standard at this current time. Was absolutely devastated that he came off injured against Southampton, he’s always been so unlucky with injuries. I’d give him my knee but that would probably be worse for him. I think I have joint issues. Love him in the media day videos. Solid dude.
Virgil Van Dijk -
What a beast. Absolutely love the guy. Don’t understand how you couldn’t like him. Arguably one of the best defenders in the world. I admire his love for Joel - that’s what you call commitment. Also a really funny guy in the media day videos.
Kostas Tsimikas -
Kostas. Where do I start? I could write a whole letter for him. I have never loved a player in the way I love him. The way he's so dedicated to the team makes me so emotional sometimes. I would want nothing more than to give him a hug. he deserve the world and more. So underappreciated yet so bloody good. he's our Greek Scouser.. Sorry I mean Scouser Greek. I never want him to leave. Ever.
Ibrahima Konate -
I don’t know all that much about him, but I do know he’s incredible. I would be terrified if I had to come up against him on the pitch. I think I’d surrender then and there. He seems like a really nice guy and I’d love to be mates with him but I’m scared I’d annoy him too much.
Naby Keita -
I can’t lie, I actually stress way too much when he plays. I don’t know why, he’s a good player. Seems like a really sweet guy. I can tell his smile really brightens up the room. Seems like a ray of sunshine. What a guy.
Caoimhin Kelleher -
Literally my favourite number 2 goalkeeper in the business. That pen against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final? Beautiful if you ask me. Seems like a really chilled, quiet guy. I can already tell I’d wind him up if I spent too long with him but he’d never outright tell me to go away.
Thiago Alcantara -
Absolute midfield maestro. Incredible at what he does. Living legend. His friendship with Kostas is something I would only ever be able to dream about having with someone. Love the guy. One of our best signings if you ask me. He’s absolutely transformed the midfield and I wouldn’t change a single thing about him.
Luis Diaz -
Again, what a player. Something about our recent signings honestly. I don’t know what else I can say except that he’s absolutely incredible. The footwork. The pace. The skill. Never leave us. I love you my guy.
Andy Robertson -
What a little shitstirrer. Absolutely loved by the Liverpool fans, hated by everyone else. But you know it wouldn’t work any other way. My favourite scotsman. To this day I’m still kept up in the middle of the night wondering if pigeons have thoughts. I would no doubt be best friends with him. I wonder if he likes haggis.
Takumi Minamino -
Played less games than Jack Grealish has at City yet still has more goals than him. Our best finisher and our saviour on more than one occasion. Seems like the most humble guy and I really hope he doesn’t leave us anytime soon. I want to give him a box of chocolates and thank him for the service he’s done for our club.
Joel Matip -
His giraffe runs are nothing short of iconic. The way that he so gracefully floats down the pitch with the ball is incredible. He is the moment. I understand why Virgil is infatuated with him. How can you not? Absolutely mesmerising.
Diogo Jota -
Literally just nominate him for the Ballon D’or. The goals he scores are incredible. Also an absolute warrior at FIFA. I’d ask to play against him and the score would be 52-1 to him (the 1 goal he’d let me score out of pity) I’d leave the room crying. Hendo would ban us from playing FIFA against each other for the rest of eternity.
Sadio Mane -
Sadio Mane. The best football player in the world. The guy is a superhero. What a season he’s had. So proud. If he goes to Bayern I’ll delete football. The game is nothing without him. We need him. He’s wonderful.
Alisson Becker -
The best goalkeeper in the world. I don’t know how you can tell me Ederson is better. Alisson is the reason we are where we are. His iconic, once-in-a-lifetime header against West Brom was the pebble in the pond. It’s the reason we are the team we are. There will be statues built for him, murals painted, and sections in museums dedicated to him and I will be the first one there for it all. He also looks like he could be Chris Hemsworth’s brother.
Roberto Firmino -
I sing his song while I go about my daily life. He is captivating. His teeth scare me a bit but his football skills are amazing. People will talk about him for generations. He is ingrained in history.
Divock Origi -
Football without Origi really is nothing. Life is meaningless without him at Liverpool. I will take it upon myself to build a statue of him outside Anfield. He is nothing short of a legend. I already miss him. I don’t know what I’m going to do with myself next season. There is going to be a void in my life. A hole in my heart. I prayed this day would never come. I don’t want to say goodbye to our Divock.
Harvey Elliott -
Little bit of a prick I can’t lie, but he’s a great football player. Watching the replay of his injury traumatised me. I don’t know how he didn’t just die then and there. He’s really short as well. I can’t get over how he thought he was doing something when he tried to push Kai Havertz in the Carabao Cup final. Was hoping for a part two of that in the FA cup final but neither of them played. Disappointing to say the least. But yeah he’s decent.
Mo Salah -
Literally just give him the Ballon D’or. The best player in the world. Was robbed of PL player of the season. Will not go into that because I’ll get too angry. Really hope he doesn’t leave. Won’t be able to deal with that. Might have to end it all.
James Milner -
Brexit football at its finest. He looks a bit scary sometimes but I can’t be mean to him because we have to respect our elders. The veteran on the pitch. I’m fairly certain he’ll be playing football until he’s one foot in the grave. James Milner will never retire.

HONORS EVEN AT ANFIELD BETWEEN LIVERPOOL AND CHELSEA
Tumblr media
The last run of fixtures saw Liverpool lock horns against Chelsea at Anfield in Saturday night’s late night kickoff. The two Premier League giants have had a fair share history against each other, both in domestic and European competitions. With both sides coming into the third match week in riveting form on the bank of two comfortable wins in their first two fixtures, this match was thus predicted to be heading for a draw on paper; and so it was. Although Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel would be the happier of the two managers, the game ended with a goal apiece.
The blues went ahead with their usual 3-4-2-1 formation, under which they have found immense success in recent times. Edouard Mendy started in goal with a combination of Azpilicueta, Christiansen and Rudiger in the backline. Reece James and Marcos Alonso were the two wingbacks, with Jorginho and Kante in the middle of the park. Kai Havertz and Mason were the two supporting attackers, with new signing Romelu Lukaku starting up front. As with Liverpool, they were shaped up in the 4-3-3 yet again, with Van Dijk and Joel Matip as the center backs. Andrew Robertson and Trent Alexender Arnold started in the flanks, with Henderson, Fabinho and Elliot in midfield. In attack, they had the famous trio of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah. The referee in charge for this much anticipated encounter was Anthony Taylor.
The game started with Chelsea seemingly looking to have dominance over the ball during the initial minutes of the first half. Chelsea ace Kai Havertz headed home from a beautifully taken corner from Reece James in the 22nd minute. However, Chelsea’s joy lasted for only a short while when Reece James was deemed guilty of handling the ball on the goal line, resulting in a penalty for the Reds in the final moments of the first half stoppage time. The main talking point however, was the dismissal of Reece James by Anthony Tailor. Several visiting fans were fuming at the ones officiating the match because of the sending off, that put Liverpool in a pole position to take the lead in the second half. Some Chelsea fans even went on to even point out the history of a chain of decisions taken against them by Anthony Taylor on social media. However, the referee remained firm on his decision after having rechecked it through the VAR technology. Mohammad Salah then swiftly dispatched it from the spot to bring the scores level at 1-1, leaving the fans for the prospects of an exciting second half against 10-man Chelsea.
In what was a defensive call to fill in the gap, veteran defender Thiago Silva was brought on the pitch to occupy the center half position by compromising Kai Havertz up front, while Azpilicueta moved to the right wing back position. Midfielder N’golo Kante also had to be replaced by Mateo Kovacic due to an injury. Liverpool, on the other hand, brought in Diego Jota in place of Roberto Firmino in an attempt to bolster their attack and capitalize on the visiting side’s numerical vulnerabilities. However, Chelsea maintained a compact shape throughout the second half, thanks to their credible defensive record after Tuchel took over as the manger last season. Chelsea goalie Edouard Mendy was forced into action and made some a few extremely crucial saves in the beginning periods of the second half. At the other hand, a chance or two fell for Kovacic and Romelu Lukaku, however, both the two failed to make the most of it. At the final whistle, the Chelsea players were seen applauding each other for holding onto the score line against the fierce Liverpool attack, being a man short. The two German managers shook their hands and the match ended relatively calmly, as opposed to the row caused in the first half.
Even after the match, the penalty decision and the sending off continued to cause controversies and took the internet by storm. The Chelsea dressing room and fans were quite discontent with the red card, claiming that it was not deliberate from the young English full back. After Salah converted from the spot, Chelsea goalkeeper Mendy kicked the ball far out just as Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson was looking to claim it with his hands, which again led to a furry of heated exchange of words between the two sides. Mendy was then shown a yellow card for the same.
With this draw, Chelsea move down to the 4th spot, one ahead of Liverpool with the same goal difference. Having said that, it can certainly not be denied that the Premier League has already brought in the drama that it has always captivated its fans with. Elsewhere, while Arsenal’s misery continued with a demolition at the Etihad, Manchester United on the other hand are on utopia with the resigning of Cristiano Ronaldo and a win over Wolves.

English Premier League -- Arsenal VS Liverpool
Livescore | Match Prediction & Tips| Asian Handicap Odds|Line-ups& H2H Stats
-----------------------------------
Champions Liverpool continue their quest for more Premier League history when they take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night.  Jurgen Klopp's side suffered a setback in their pursuit of top-flight immortality at the weekend, while the Gunners will be looking to bounce back from their North London derby defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
Match preview
Whatever happens in the final fortnight of the 2019-20 Premier League season, Liverpool's exploits will go down in history - they shattered numerous records and wrapped up the title two games faster than any other team has ever managed in the English top flight before.   However, while the supporters would undoubtedly be content with 'only' ending their 30-year wait to be crowned champions of England, a tame end to the campaign would threaten to take some of the gloss off their remarkable achievements.  It was not long ago - at least in terms of games played - that Liverpool were being touted as possible Invincibles and treble-winners and looked certain to break Manchester City's 100-point record, having picked up 26 wins and one draw from their opening 27 games.  They have since won four, drawn two and lost two of their last eight top-flight outings, in addition to being knocked out of the Champions League and FA Cup - by no means enough to ruin their campaign, but certainly a drop-off in their previously unheard-of form.  Saturday's 1-1 draw at home to Burnley means that Klopp's side must now win all three of their remaining games - against Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle United - to break the points record, or take seven points from the nine available to equal it.
The champions are more than capable of doing exactly that, of course, but those three teams will be feeling a lot more optimistic about taking points off the Reds now than they were before lockdown.  The Burnley draw brought an end to Liverpool's incredible winning run at Anfield as they dropped points at home in the league for the first time since January 2019, and their recent away form has actually been poor.   Last week's 3-1 triumph at Brighton & Hove Albion ended a five-match winless and goalless streak on their travels across all competitions, during which time they conceded 10 goals without reply.  Of course, these recent struggles also need to be kept in perspective; Liverpool have still amassed 10 points more than any other team away from home this season, and victory on Wednesday would see them break all-time club records for both most away wins and most wins overall in a single campaign.  Klopp's side are now battling against those legends of the past for their place in the historical rankings of England's greatest ever teams, rather than any contemporary rivals this season, and while the manager has claimed that he is not interested in that, there would be a small sense of a missed opportunity if they fail to capitalise fully on such an incredible start.
More than one Arsenal side is in that same conversation of English football's best ever teams, but the current crop are a million miles away and the scale of the job facing Mikel Arteta was once again laid out for all to see during Sunday's derby with Spurs.  There were positives for the Gunners as they dominated the game for long spells, but they gifted Spurs both goals and it remains impossible to rely on such a shaky defence.  Arsenal have now thrown away a whopping 21 points from winning positions this season - a tally which, if added to their current points total, would leave them third in the table, only a point behind Manchester City and with Champions League football for next term already secured.  As it is, the derby defeat saw them slip to ninth, level on points with Burnley and with the possibility of a top-four finish now beyond them.  Instead, Arsenal's eyes must now be on qualifying for the Europa League again, although that could also prove problematic with seventh-placed Sheffield United four points ahead with only nine left to play for.
The derby defeat should not cast complete doom and gloom over the club, though, as they had been making noticeable progress under Arteta before that, winning four and drawing one of their previous five games.  The Gunners can also boast an unbeaten home record in the Premier League this calendar year - a run which includes five wins and two draws, most recently being held by Champions League-chasing Leicester City.  Wednesday's match will be Arsenal's penultimate of the season at the Emirates, with Aston Villa away to come before hosting Watford on the final day - two games which look kind on paper but will come against teams fighting for their lives at the bottom of the table.  It has been a difficult run for Arsenal recently too, with four successive league games against teams currently above them in the Premier League table and an FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City to come at the weekend.  The FA Cup may be Arsenal's priority now given the damaging nature of the derby defeat on their league position, but Arteta has already shown during his time in charge that he will not accept a drop-off in any competition regardless of its importance between now and the end of the campaign.

Team News
Arsenal will once again be without suspended striker Eddie Nketiah for this match as he serves the second of his two-game ban following his red card against Leicester.  Alexandre Lacazette made a statement in his absence with a thunderous opener in the derby, and he is likely to lead the line again with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in support.  The match features a number of Golden Boot hopefuls, with Aubameyang, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane all looking to retain the award, having shared it in a three-way tie last season.  Mesut Ozil remains a major doubt for the home side as he continues to struggle with a back injury, while Matteo Guendouzi is out of contention following a bust-up with Arteta.  Gabriel Martinelli, Bernd Leno, Pablo Mari and Calum Chambers are all expected to miss the remainder of the season for Arsenal, who have been hit badly by injuries since the restart.  Liverpool will also be without two key players for the remainder of the campaign - captain Jordan Henderson missing out with a knee injury and Joel Matip sidelined due to a toe problem.  Klopp is being cautious with the fitness of James Milner too, and the veteran midfielder is again expected to be absent for this one after missing out against Burnley entirely.  Trent Alexander-Arnold and Naby Keita are among the players who will be pushing for a recall to the starting XI, while Klopp must again decide whether to rotate one of his front three.  All of them boast impressive records against the Gunners, with Salah scoring six goals in six meetings, Mane notching four times in seven games since joining Liverpool and Roberto Firmino scoring eight times in nine appearances - his best record against any opponent.
Arsenal possible starting lineup: Martinez; Sokratis, Luiz, Holding; Bellerin, Ceballos, Xhaka, Tierney; Saka, Lacazette, Aubameyang
Liverpool possible starting lineup: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson; Keita, Fabinho, Oxlade-Chamberlain; Salah, Firmino, Mane
Head To Head
Arsenal have a torrid record in this fixture recently, failing to win any of the last 10 meetings across all competitions and nine in the Premier League stretching back to April 2015.  They are often entertaining affairs too, with the most recent showdown ending 5-5 in the EFL Cup in October - Liverpool winning on penalties - and the last nine meetings producing 49 goals at an average of more than 5.4 per game.  The reverse fixture in the Premier League saw Liverpool run out 3-1 winners in August, with Salah grabbing a brace.
Arsenal VS Liverpool
Prediction:Arsenal 2-3 Liverpool

The magnate plays like this and gets 1 point almost bow
Most of the time, if given the choice, hardly any team wants to open the field by meeting the new team as an “away team”.
See what happened to the Liverpool team at Craven Cottage and you'll find all the formulas for the 'freshman' in the first game of the season.
Fiery League, crazy cheers and motivation to fall runners-up to the "Vision Cup"
However, the mixture will not “trigger” at all if it lacks the qualities that will last for 90 minutes.
That's where we have to give credit to Fulham rather than weight what the "Reds" did in this game.
Marco Silva's tactics may not be more bizarre than other teams that have "pressed" against big teams like Liverpool.
But that makes Jurgen Klopp's team unable to play at all, whether starting the game from the back or even long.
The Reds have always used Virgil van Dijk's long tactics and Mo Salah's slick throwing technique in heavily pressed situations that always work.
But today, it doesn't work because I have to say. "Little Rich" plays the ball well in the air from front to back.
Making every fight for the ball with a head ball and following the rhythm 2, almost the home team has won almost all
Losing Thiago cost the quality of play by 2 points: 1. Surviving the press and 2. Setting it long.
That said, Jordan Henderson seems to have a pretty serious problem with being pressed. Despite summing up that almost the whole team had to turn their backs on the ball and was compressed until it was crowded.
The relatively small pitch (100×65 m) is smaller than Anfield, which is so small that it cannot hold a big football tournament (101×68), which makes the away team players unable to play their own games. at all
Aleksandar Mitrovic has emerged as Fulham's favorite with two goals in this game. Taking a break to keep the ball against your elder brother, you need to pull both Vvd and Joel Matip, a Cambodian player, to come together for a combo. Make way for other players' slots and spaces as well.
Pictures of Liverpool's game improved after the appearances of Harvey Eliot and Darwin Nunez.
And it got even better when James Milner replaced Fabinho.
We can see that after that, the visiting team invaded the right side a lot by using "The Vice" and Eliot ran through the channel to help Salah until they switched to open the ball.
Liverpool had previously struggled with scoring opportunities because of Nunez's cross that led the team to a 1-1 draw on target for the second time, despite playing for an hour and four minutes.
As soon as this door came We immediately see that the Fulham players quit pressing and trying to keep their 1 point immediately. An empty space that was almost like a rare and rare gold mine suddenly appeared.
But the "Reds" have only 8 minutes of this time from Matip's one miss, ultimately causing them to lose a penalty that should not be lost.
It turned out that Salah's goal, which opened the field for a record six years in a row, became the goal of saving points from being teased since the opening match.
Looking at Fulham's form today, the question arises that Silva told a pre-match interview that his team were not ready for the Premier League with just 16 senior players.
If not accepting the truth, it is secretly motivating the team indirectly, but indirectly, however, it depends on Fulham's play. Getting only one point is definitely disappointing.
On the other hand, Liverpool, who can't retaliate against the hosts and let themselves play below the benchmark, feel that one point is better than getting nothing back from London.
Silva and Klopp both have homework to ponder. The first side is how long will they stand because both you and we already know that this kind of sacrificial fight can't be done every match with every team. (Otherwise he would be relegated and promoted back and forth like this)
As for JK, losing Thiago, who  บาคาร่าออนไลน์ has been in the best form in midfield since the first match (And probably long because of the hamstring.) The person who will plug in, no matter who, is definitely leaving a huge class gap.
To find an attacker who comes to help when the team is stuck and twisted together, if it is not "Bang Mo" at this time, it should be left "Noon", which is called too little compared to teams at the same level like Manchester City. or Chelsea
Today I opened my head, Premier, I just want to lightly squint and show myself to welcome the column of this same forgetful old man. See you again in 9 months...
Statistics Statistics Statistics
Liverpool are 115 points clear in the Premier League coming from behind their rivals under Jurgen Klopp, the most points a team since JK took over in October 2015.
Darwin Nunez is just the third player to make his debut, scoring and paying as a substitute, with the first being Sergio Aguero (2011-12) and Alvaro Mora. Ta (2017-18)
The Reds have stopped just 51 games in the league without conceding penalties for any team, their longest running record in the competition, with Vvd conceding their first penalty since doing it in a game against Manchester City last year. 2018
Aleksandar Mitrovic has scored 44 goals in 45 league games since the start of last season, 15 more than any other player in the top four.
The Vinij Cup runners-up had as many as six players aged 30+ in the starting XI at Craven Cottage for the first time since meeting. Southampton in 1994

Five reasons why Klopp's Liverpool, the 'only undefeated club' 먹튀검증

Liverpool are back in top form.
Preston North End became the first team not to concede three goals in a home match against Liverpool this season on October 28 (Korean time). Of course, the reason is because Liverpool are playing defensively.
Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool is the only club in the English Premier League (EPL) that has never lost. In addition, he has scored 29 points in the league, boasting great firepower.
It is only an understatement to say that Liverpool regained their strength after the season when they were hit hard by the coronavirus. Klopp's five real reasons for Liverpool's resurgence
1. Return of the centre-back
Liverpool spent half of last season without a solid starting centre-back. But now Virgil van Dijk is back and he is showing a far more overwhelming performance than the supporters dared to hope for. The decision not to rush back from injury at the end of last season or participate in Euro 2020 as a member of the Dutch national team seems to have been the right decision.
Joel Matip has also been able to play in every match so far. This is no different than a small miracle for a player with a glass body. The 30-year-old has shown his best collaboration with Van Dyke, and has only been given three games of rest for management purposes this season.
After Matip missed Crystal Palace, Manchester United and Brighton, Ibrahima Konate was paired with Van Dyke. As a young resource, Konate showed off his physical strength and speed compared to other defenders. Meanwhile, Joe Gomez has played two matches in the League Cup and one against AC Milan in the Champions League. The current four center-back options show a stark difference compared to six months ago.
Finally, in the League Cup match against Preston, Nathaniel Phillips, who led the uptrend in the second half of last season, was replaced as a substitute and enjoyed his first win of the season.
2. Domino Effect
The negative domino effect caused by the departure of the centre-back last season is the exact opposite this season. Scoring from a set-piece situation and stable defense returned, Van Dyke's sharp long pass opened up a new attack path, and left and right full-backs were able to play high again.
Having a ‘walker’ defender is a huge help for players in all positions. Goalkeepers and midfielders feel confident and secure, respectively, and strikers can focus on attack.
Offensive wins, but defense wins.
Klopp often says that "everything is good with the fans", but there's no denying that everything is good with the starting centre-backs.
3. Set pieces
Liverpool have scored five goals from set pieces this season (tied for first place in the Premier League). This percentage is equivalent to scoring more than 20 goals from set pieces in a season.
Liverpool's set-piece scoring last season fell from 17 to 12. In response, Klopp and the coaching staff tried to improve the set-piece situation with outside help during the pre-season. Liverpool worked directly with the German mental coaches of Neuro11 to train free kicks, wide free kicks, penalty kicks and corner kicks.
"Neuro 11's Nicklas and Patrick had a unique training with players dedicated to taking free kicks and penalty kicks," said Pep Linders, head coach.
He added, "Neuro 11 provides solutions to help players find the right flow, which can increase accuracy. It helps players to have the right mindset and set their minds." see.
4. Return of the ‘wife line’
Last year, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino had their worst seasons. Mane himself admitted it. However, both players seem to be synergizing with the crowd, and their form has also risen.
Firmino has only made five starts this season, but he has scored six goals and provided one assist. At the start of the season, Diogo Jota started more than Firmino did. However, such competition and physical fitness are expected to be of great help to Firmino. Firmino also likes to play for the fans who come to the stadium.
There is also Mohamed Salah, the best player in the world. Currently, Salah is breaking numerous records in every game he plays, and by scoring in 10 consecutive games, he became the most goalscorer in the history of an African player in the Premier League.
"Winning this team is the only option," Salah told Sky Sports after a 5-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford. "Our goal is to win."
5. Fan
Liverpool must win in front of the fans.
Liverpool won their first record Premier League title in 30 years, but they celebrated the win in an empty stadium rather than in front of 50,000 fans.
The match against Bournemouth, the last league match before the coronavirus pandemic, was a celebration of the upcoming victory. So, winning the league was easy. The remaining four games at home should have been played in congratulations to the team that broke records. However, the match was played without a soul in an empty stadium, and the team even asked to turn up the sound of the amp cheers to set the mood.
"Some of us took it for granted to enjoy the overwhelming atmosphere in a stadium full of spectators and sold out," Klopp said in the first program note of the new season. “Our game has to evoke emotion and set the mood,” he wrote.
Even if Liverpool win the title again, the squad and fans will never feel the emotions and emotions they would have felt while waiting for the title for 30 years.
Liverpool are making sure those memories are recorded on the pitch.

Divock Origi scores spectacular backheel as Liverpool hold off Preston
Carabao Cup specialists Takumi Minamino and Divock Origi fired Liverpool into the quarter-finals with a 2-0 win over Preston but not before the Championship side threatened a major upset at Deepdale.
Memories of Sunday’s 5-0 destruction of Manchester United were fresh in the minds of the travelling Liverpool support but there were few traces on the pitch as Jurgen Klopp changed all 11 players and got a radically different display as a result.
When Minamino turned in Neco Williams’s cross in the 62nd minute, it was Liverpool’s first shot on target after Preston had brought a number of saves out of Adrian in the first half.
Origi flicked in a second six minutes from time, but the gap between Klopp’s ruthless stars and their more modest back-ups was obvious as Liverpool only occasionally bared their teeth against a side 19th in the Championship and sporting several changes of their own.
Preston had never reached the quarter-finals, but that carrot was not enough to prevent Frankie McAvoy from swapping nine of the players who started the weekend’s 2-0 defeat to Blackpool – with on-loan Sepp Van Den Berg one of two survivors having received permission to face his parent club.
Klopp handed a debut to teenager Harvey Blair while Tyler Morton got his first start but there was also plenty of experience as Joel Matip returned to partner Joe Gomez in defence.
It was no surprise to see Liverpool boss possession – goalkeeper Declan Rudd was the only Preston player to touch the ball in the opening five minutes – but they could not translate that into chances as the hosts defended strongly.
Instead it was Preston who threatened. Tom Barkhuizen cut inside Matip before firing over, then Ryan Ledson tried an ambitious volley from the edge of the area which sailed over.
Brad Potts was the next to escape Matip but his rising shot was pushed over by Adrian.
The best chance came in the 28th minute. After Gomez squandered possession Ali McCann put it on a plate for Sean Maguire, only to see Adrian make a superb point-blank save. The ball fell invitingly for Ledson, but his shot struck Williams in the face on the line before Potts blazed over.

Liverpool somehow escaped, but they went in at the break still yet to test Rudd despite having 79 per cent possession.
Matip was replaced by Nat Phillips at the break, and Liverpool were quickly on the front foot, with Minamino going close before Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain twisted to make space before unleashing a powerful shot which sailed narrowly wide.
A largely frustrating night for Blair came to an end moments later as Conor Bradley replaced the former Manchester United prospect, but Morton continued to impress, and almost found Minamino with a curling cross from deep.
They broke the deadlock with their first shot on target just after the hour. Williams, pushed forward by Bradley’s arrival, pulled the ball back for Minamino to flick it beyond the reach of Rudd and score his fifth Carabao Cup goal in as many appearances.
Preston seemed to sense their chance had gone as heads dropped, and Origi soon confirmed their fears as he scored his customary Carabao Cup goal – making it 11 in his 10 starts in the competition.
When Kostas Tsimikas’s cross from deep struck the crossbar it bounced down for Williams. His shot was blocked but the ball sat up for Origi to flick in with an acrobatic twist of his leg.
Minamino should have added a third when he raced through on goal moments later, denied by Rudd, but further goals would have been harsh on Preston.

Jurgen Klopp's dream Liverpool squad if they complete three more transfers
Tumblr media
Jurgen Klopp's dream Liverpool squad if they complete three more transfers Liverpool will start their 2023/2024 Premier League season against Chelsea, led by Mauricio Pochettino.  Jurgen Klopp's team aims to recover from a disappointing previous campaign. In order to refresh the squad, Liverpool has allowed long-time players like James Milner, Roberto Firmino, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Naby Keita to leave. The arrival of midfielders Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister during the early summer has pleased Liverpool fans. These additions bring much-needed energy and creativity to the team's midfield.  Although there are no immediate plans for a third signing, it's unlikely that only two new players will be enough to fill the void left by five departures, including Arthur Melo's return to Juventus. Liverpool has been linked to promising young players such as Romeo Lavia, Khephren Thuram, and Gabri Veiga.  Additionally, there have been reports that the club inquired about Levi Colwill's future at Chelsea. Colwill, who recently helped England win the European Under-21 Championship, is set to have talks with Pochettino. The signings of Mac Allister and Szoboszlai may suggest that Klopp's first-choice starting lineup is already strong. However, considering the demanding season ahead, which includes Europa League fixtures, Liverpool also needs to bolster their squad depth. Liverpool's recruitment strategy, led by FSG, focuses on cost-efficiency, which means the club's outgoing transfers could influence their activity in the summer transfer window.  Players like Thiago, Jordan Henderson, and Mohamed Salah have been linked with moves to Saudi Arabia, while Joel Matip is reportedly of interest to Besiktas. If Joel Matip departs, Liverpool will likely prioritize signing an additional defender. Currently, their right-footed defensive options include Virgil van Dijk, Matip, Ibrahima Konate, Joe Gomez, and Nat Phillips. Phillips has attracted interest from Leeds and Feyenoord. The addition of left-footed Levi Colwill could bring a different dynamic to Liverpool's build-up play and make them more dangerous when in possession. However, Colwill's future is uncertain as he seeks assurances regarding his playing time at Chelsea and faces competition from left-footed defender Benoit Badiashile. In midfield, Liverpool could benefit from further stylistic enhancements through new signings. Romeo Lavia gained a reputation as one of the Premier League's most press-resistant midfielders last season and would be an upgrade over players like Milner, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Keita, or Arthur. According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, Liverpool manager Klopp is particularly interested in adding Lavia to the squad, although no agreement has been reached with Southampton yet. It is also reported that personal terms with Lavia have not been agreed upon, and Southampton, who were relegated, will demand a £50 million fee for the former Manchester City player. Khephren Thuram is a different type of player, usually occupying a defensive midfield role but also displaying dribbling skills and a tendency to move into the opposition box. In the previous season, he directly contributed to 10 goals across all competitions. According to Spanish source Nacional, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona are interested in signing Khephren Thuram, the French midfielder. However, Barcelona may struggle to meet Nice's demands. Nice is reportedly seeking around £25.6 million for Thuram, a fee that Liverpool is reportedly willing to pay, potentially making him their third signing of the summer. In terms of the attack, Liverpool is expected to improve. Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo, having adapted to English football, are likely to have better seasons. Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota have also showcased their abilities when available. Mohamed Salah's talent is unquestionable. Taking all of this into consideration, here is what Klopp's ideal squad could look like after the transfer window closes, assuming Liverpool signs Colwill, Thuram, and Lavia. Goalkeepers Alisson Caoimhin Kelleher Adrian Defenders Levi Colwill Joe Gomez Virgil van Dijk Ibrahima Konate Kostas Tsimikas Andy Robertson Joel Matip Trent Alexander-Arnold Midfielders Khephren Thuram Romeo Lavia Fabinho Thiago Dominik Szoboszlai Alexis Mac Allister Jordan Henderson Curtis Jones Harvey Elliot Stefan Bajetic Forwards Luis Diaz Mohammed Salah Cody Gakpo Diogo Jota Darwin Nunez Jurgen Klopp's dream Liverpool squad if they complete three more transfers Read the full article
