what’s something you’re excited for?

Getting to do a reblog session in a little bit :)) I don’t have access to wifi at the moment but when I do (hopefully later today) I’m looking forward to reblogging lovely posts :) I am also Quite excited about sleeping on a sofa bed tonight aksgajsgjags it’s been a long time since I’ve slept on one and I always tend to sleep well on them, so! yay!!

if you could tell your past self one thing, what would it be?

You’re not wrong or unlovable or terrible, people are just mean. You’re gonna get friends someday and it will be far more wonderful than you can even imagine. The people in your life right now are treating you badly and that’s not how it’s supposed to work. You’re not unlovable, and you’re not destined for friendlessness forever. It’s a season of your life and I know it’s going to be so hard and lonely and I know you wonder what’s wrong with you and why no one shows you kindness, but I promise the sun will rise & things will get better, and really Good people are going to run into your life, and someday in the future all your loneliness and pain will be just a memory <3 Okay? You just have to wait in the dark for a little longer. It’ll get good, I promise.

what would you say to your future self?

Drawing a bit of a blank here :O It really would depend on What my future-self is doing with her life & how things are going for her.

OOOH NO WAIT!!! Stay close to your friends!! Try to stay close to them!! You love them and they love you, as unbelievable as that sounds, and they’re worth keeping around!! Go get coffee with them & walk around downtown together & wear your whimsical bucket hat and your necklace & be honest with them & tell them that you love them, because oh my gosh it’s true. Don’t let time push you away.

what reminds you of home (doesn’t have to mean house… just things that remind you of the feeling of home)?

Black squirrels, dirt paths in the forest, a blue house, bluejays & cardinals & robins, a basket of stuffed animals, the wooden chair my dad has used at the dining table ever since I can remember, my old cat Walter, a pink flower blanket, a trampoline with blue lining, leaping from log to log, walking through shallow rivers, cracked sidewalks with grass & dandelions poking through, and the food court at the mall I went to in my childhood <3
