i would like to inform you that it has been 740 days (also known as 2 years and 10 days) since you’ve last updated sidewalks: one of, if not THE most brilliant idea of street racer Beomgyu.

i’m inquiring about any thoughts of furthering the best Beomgyu AU to ever grace the mind of MOAs everywhere. i believe part 2 was suggested, but she is no where to be seen.

And to answer your Q’s, I think if the deagedfic was in reverse it would go a lot differently? katsuki would be an unholy terror, but not inherently cruel ya know?? kids can be mean in their innocence bc they don’t always understand the consequence of their words and actions but i dont think they intently malicious (mostly). so yea katsuki would come to situation prickly and aggressive bc he doesn’t know anyone, this entire situation is WEIRD, and it’s jarring but then he sees a familiar pair of green eyes on a face that feels intimate as his own and he knows HE JUST KNOWS THIS PERSON IS DEKU.

i would like to think he would get super clingy & possessive of izuku bc izuku is the only grounding point he knows in this strange & new place and even though all these ppl claim to know HIM and are his friends, but he doesn’t KNOW KNOW THEM. there’s no kindred spirit but izuku know katsuki in any age bc they literally known each other/grew side by side their whole life so katsuki clings to that familiarity. unlike bb!izuku who is shy, awkward and smol anxious, bb!katsuki is loud, temperamental and smol tyrant is like the best way i can describe it. while bb!izuku would retreat into himself, katsuki would lash out and carry himself like he’s a boss bc he doesn’t want to show any weakness in front of all these ‘adults’ (which is admittedly funny bc none of class A are really adults). they fret and worry over him but the more they coddle the more angry he becomes but izuku who is used to katsuki in all his ways whether he’s smol or big, so izuku is the best to care for him... which is perfect bc katsuki STICKS CLOSE TO IZUKU. 

it’s also, i think, bc this izuku is all grown up now. not the one who hides behind katsuki and need to his HELP always, bc izuku has friends outside of katsuki who clearly loves and adores him and katsuki is FIERCELY JEALOUS. before katsuki’s arrogance and pride had tear them apart, he and izuku were each other world bc katsuki was bright and strong so izuku is drawn to him to a moth to a flame and katsuki loves that izuku needed him and rely on on him (until he didn’t and katsuki WAS PISSED bc sometimes anger is easier to settle then to realize to accept how wrong he is). anyway, seeing how izuku is surrounded by ppl now it makes him even more clingy of izuku and snapping at anyone who get close bc in his smol bb!katsuki mind the way kids tend to think of things THEIRS or NOT so he wants to lay claim to this izuku even if he seems diff than his bc as long as izuku is his then maybe all the snippet he heard of the story how izuku and him came to UA completely estranged from each other bc at this point in time bb!katsuki still has memories of them still together. 

ALSO, ALSO katsuki would heard plenty of stories of his older self and how he didn’t ever think he would be around so many ppl who may not all be his close friends but THEY KNOW HIM and spoke of him with fond exasperation... not like his other so call hanger ons but like actual friends in the way that izuku is to him. so yeaaaaa they thought of older!katsuki having all these things he desire (close knit of friends that he would ride or die w/, his dream of attending UA, and ofc izuku) it’s a dream come true and he’s jealous of himself but also wishes how he could grow up quickly so ALL OF THIS WOULD BE HIS. 

it would be interesting to see class A responding to katsuki bc he would be blunt and callous at times but not like malicious about it, ya know?? he’s more honest w/ his feelings bc while he keeps his true emotions close unlikely to show his weakness but he express his thoughts more clearly and is more likely to open up so class A would see this smol prickly child who TRY SO HARD TO SEEM ALL GROWN UP AND BE STRONG and they’re so soft and careful w/ him but w/ treating him like he’s delicate. izuku would always be hovering close by if he’s not like next to katsuki always bc he loves all version of katsuki and to see smol!katsuki is like a dream of for him. all nostalgic and soft bc this is katsuki before all the rage and hurt poisoned him, before U.A. and their friends beaten  the pride and arrogance out of him, and before loving izuku opened his heart up, soooo it’s like watching a plant budding and knowing what would come after bc most of the times the wait all worth the labor and effort put into nurturing this boy and watching him grow to be a great man. 

idk IT’S ALL ABOUT SMOL TYRANT being jealous and possessive of anxious caretaker!izuku who is so V V V fond of this boy who grow up to be best version of himself and the class A watching is SO TERRIBLE SOFT AND FOND OF THIS PRICKLY LIL SHIT.
