What if i wrote a short Siren Tower fic about how Gustavo saves Peppino from drowning, then weeks later Peppino sees Gustavo injured on the shore and takes care of him in his home, and Gustavo is just so fascinated by all the human things he discovers that Peppino can't help but find that little merman endearing
