Spoiler-ish ahead but Bakugo??? TT TT Like idc about ships… tbh if any shounen series was written in a way where romance and ships will be a component… then at least make me believe it!!! Don’t just randomly have one last chapter to push a ship that had v little development and make me think that it’s good??? It’s the same with how I felt with Naruto and the Last movie where the whole ass time Naruto was pinning for Sasuke and whenever he was talking about a “girl he likes” that mf always said Sakura— AND THEN HAVE ONE PIDDLY ASS MOVIE WHERE SAKURA SAID “you never loved me Naruto.” And Naruto was like “oh yea u right. My bad.” HUUUH Like Naruto had more emotional moments with Gaara than Hinata— anyway this isn’t about that.

Uhhhh JUSTICE FOR BAKUGO?? 8 years of his life working to make Deku’s dream come true after spending majority of their childhood bringing him down and regretting that— ONLY FOR DEKU TO REJECT HIM JOINING HIS AGENCY— like I get that Deku is a teacher now and I do like that tbh… and he was warming up to him too!!! I missed the memes of Deku being a fast food worker bro… Like yeah it’s sad… but it’s funny— the ones with Bakugo is TRAGIC (but funny) ALSO ALSO not him and Ochako ending it with a bro dap. I did that with Hun and asked if it was a romantic gesture and he said “no… this is like… hey bro.” 😭 Like why wait 8 years to finally talk about things… it would make sense if like… idk Ochako was at a diff country being a hero there but dude hello… she’s right there and ya’ll never really talked before then? I liked the idea that Ochako was able to stand on her own and find her own goals (which was influenced by Toga) and only for her to be used as the woman who was the potential heroine for Deku… like at this point if your manga doesn’t really super focus on that ship, WHY DEDICATE THE LAST CHAPTER TO THAT it just seems so out of place… 😭 (how I felt with Naruto: The Last where it backtracks the entirety of all those years to try and make them a thing….)
