I like finding license plates with a familiar group of letters like DKC or GBA. I also like to make meanings for ones that almost could represent something but don't. Some are easy peasy like FFH (Fire Femblem Heroes). I've seen them twice in different locations this week! #blessed

Maks and Papa C founded Rising Stars c. 1997. They added Jahna Volynets as a partner - at HER request and a great business decision - a few years later and RSDA evolved/grew into DWM. When Maks BROUGHT IN Tony (ie invited his bff to share in his business as a partner!) in 2012 DWM was already FIFTEEN YEARS old. Check out the Fred Astaire website. Tony is one of about fifty other peeps on their admin board. It isn't "his" business and he isn't making the big bucks if he's still doing cruises lol.

- I realize most of your followers were still in diapers when Tony joined DWM but to educate them (and you), Tony became a partner in DWM before Val or Eugene did. He did the majority of the work while Maks ran around Ukraine collecting a scammed paycheck to be the Bachelor.  And yes it was scammed because he got caught vacationing in the Caribbean with his LA-based girlfriend during the show's Christmas break. 

I’ll let y’all duke this out between yourselves since I don’t know when Tony joined DWM (although it looks like possibly 2010).  I do know, however, that Maks was approached to be Ukranian Bachelor in 2009 and it probably filmed in 2010 because it aired in 2011.  So........

Also of note, since you’re so bitter about Maks’ Bachelor “scam”....from Val’s book, Maks was HIGHLY recruited to be on the show.  And the relationship lasted 2 days.

Haha! Remember that clip of Valenna awkwardly dancing the salsa when they were at the DWM party during their teaching tour? Check out Maks IG for Eugene's birthday. Eugene looked way better with his many partners than Valenna on the dance floor!

For anon: DWM's website lists the company's partners/"owners": founders/partners: Maks, Sasha + partners: Jahna, Val, Tony, Eugene. Jahna was brought in 3rd, long after Maks and Sasha had established their 1st studio (c 1996), then Val became a partner upon coming of age, then Maks invited Tony to be a partner when DWM Soho opened (2006), then Eugene. Tony's wife shares finances with T, but that doesn't make her a DWM partner. Maybe Tony just wanted to say "hi" to Maks, Peta, and Val?

Thanks! I was not sure. Yes, it could be as simple as Tony wanting to give a shout out to Maks, Val, and Peta. Lol.

Maks tagged Beauty and Essex LV, a high end Vegas restaurant and lounge owned by the Tao Group which owns many restaurants including Tao Downtown in Chelsea not far from DWM Soho. The Fam are regulars. It's a Vegas business venture. Not the first time he's hinted about it. Serge too.

Looks like Eugene is there also.  I think they might be opening a Russian Restaurant like the ones that he and Val used to dance in.

Also Val and Maks are the only dancers - Papa C. , Eugene (a tad of a dancer) and Mrs V (if she is still involved) don’t teach. Val’s January DWM classes were the first time he had taught since this whole pandemic started a year ago. Then the snow played with some of his classes in January. Let it go....Maks had been carrying the classes for a bit; now it’s Val’s turn. Plus it’s a good time to pay attention to the family business with the pandemic mayhem. Katie, you have far more patience than me.....💃🕺🏻
