a scenario where suga's s/o moving to japan ( in early age ) but is actually from a nordic country ( i am from finland, but it doesn't have to be so specific if you don't want to! ) & he learns this & just starts to ask questions of their culture or some childhood stories they have or national lullabies??? or just wants to hear her speak it in general. idk this has been on my mind like forever.

​okay so I looked up what language they speak in Finland andI saw Swedish and Finnish, so I just went with Finnish. I hope this short imagineis okay!!

sugawara koushi: memories

She timidly peeked over the sturdy tree to find a group ofkids playing in the park. Their smiles so wide that [Name] started to wonder iftheir chubby cheeks hurt. Their little chubby feet would collide with soft sandas they chased each other.

"Suga, over here!!"

Her [e/c] eyes followed the soft voice and they landed on asmall boy with fluffy grey hair.

"So pretty..." She thought, her face still as astatue.

[Name] pressed her lips into a thin line as she patted downher dress. She looked back at her parents then walked out of her protectivebubble, walking toward the group of kids. She held her hands together whilegrazing her fingers over her knuckles, a nervous habit.

The group of around five kids stopped in their groups andstared at [Name].

"H-Hi..." She spoke, giving a small wave.

The kids looked at each other and looked back. He was thefirst one to speak. "Hi, I'm Sugawara Koushi, what's your name?"

She twiddled with her fingers while replying. "[Name][Last]."

A little girl who seemed only a year younger than [Name]spoke up. "Huh, you're foreign right?"

She gave her a patient smile. "We introduce ourselveslast name first and first name last here."

[Name] looked up at the girl and looked at the otherchildren, they nodded. She was lost.

Sugawara was smiling brightly as he walked forward."That's so cool!"

He looked back at his friends, smiling, as if to tell them:Can you believe this?!

"Where are you from?" He asked, his voice changingtone.

She looked at the boy and blinked, she didn't understandsome of his words. Her father only taught her how to say hello, bye, andintroducing herself.

[Name], now playing her dress, replied. "Finland..."

The kids gasped in unison. "Cool!"

One of the little boys stood next to [Name] and patted hershoulder. "We'll be your new friends!!"

[Name] understood the word friends and her smile resembledthe bright shimmering sun.

"Ah, so that's how you two met?" Daichi spokewhilst stuffing his face with food.

Sugawara pulled her closer to his side and nodded."Yeah!"

He chuckled and ran his fingers loosely through his hair."It took me the longest time to figure out that she didn't speakJapanese."

"I was still learning." [Name] laughed.

She laid her head against his shoulder. "I was socaptivated by your beauty that I couldn't say I didn't speak it."

Sugawara lifted his shoulder, causing to slightly nudge hercheek. "Please, I was captivated by yours."

Daichi raised an eyebrow. "Wait how old were youguys?"

[Name] removed her head from her boyfriends shoulder andthought. "Uhh, eight I think?"

Suga nodded. "Yeah, we were eight."

Suga slipped into thought and he smiled. "I rememberedhow I would always ask you about Finland but you never responded."

"For a while I thought you didn't like me." Hechuckled.

"I just didn't understand you." She spoke,reaching down for his hand.

She looked into his chocolate brown eyes and smiled. "Ican answer your questions now."

His eyes brightened. "Well, before I ask youquestions..."

"Say something in Finnish!"

Daichi nodded, quite excitedly, in agreement. [Name] smiledsoftly. "Well, okay."

"Minä rakastan sinua, Sugawara Koushi."

(Translation: Minä rakastan sinua= I love you)
