Lost one of the A. vulgare in the isopod tank... Was a bit rough-looking and sluggish when I collected it, but I was expecting it to last more than 6 days... The other vulgare are also a bit sluggish, and according to Reddit it may be an overwatering issue, so I may release just those guys back where I found them.
P. scaber doing great though! Active, with a pretty good appetite. They prefer the fish flakes to the apple slices I've been offering, but I've heard they are a pretty protein-hungry lot. I've seen a couple of mancae about which I think are scabers, so I hope this little colony can make it. There are some interesting reddish coloured adults, so maybe I'll get some reddish babies.
The patio has been fully pressure-washed now, so if worst comes to worst they could be returned to their old home between the slabs without suffering a watery doom. I think I'd miss them a bit, but if it's in their best interest I'll let them go.
