I don't walk on this side of the town but I think anon mistoon crush with attraction pete shows is some of the old cartoons

for example in multiple of them he tried to kiss minnie but either she kicked him off or something or mickey stepped in the way, this happens in alot of shorts but the ones I saw while watching random shorts were in

both qualities are awful because of youtube blame them not me

that translated to some comics and since they cant be as show don't tell and mickey works were always pretty well known for being dialouge heavy when possible some comics did translate his attraction into a crush

and I agree with anon mickey minnie and pete are often shown as a trio in a way but we never drill more on minnie and pete without mickey in the picture, after almost 100 years you'd expect them to have a little dynamic of their own [I don't mean to self promote but if youre intrested in that anon feel free to hit me up in dm's I could tell you more about them in my comic, though its not really a villian vs hero thing]

You said your pete is inspired by the three musketers version (great movie) but also alot of your things in your ver are inspired by old-old cartoons so I wanted to ask

does your pete still have crush on minnie or does he just run after power, or is it like in some comics (I think) where pete still has a crush on her but is following "pull your crush's hair to get her to notice you" rule book?

I feel like these 2 are rarely seen as a villian vs hero duo but more so trio bc of mickey always popping up out the corner, a bit of unused dynamic in mu opinion but then again i have only seen the comics on other people's blogs so-

Well my Pete's inspired mainly by that version, but its more so multiple versions as it's mainly Off Screen, because this world takes place in a Who Framed Roger Rabbit World I call Off the Animation Table,

I've never seen a reality where he ever had a crush on Minnie. Maybe you are thinking of Mortimer Mouse? Pete did have a wife named Peg in the 90s cartoons and even a son and daughter PJ and Pistol,

Again you got to remember in Off the animation table it takes place in a reality where cartoons are actually living in our reality, walking alongside Humans.

Mickey Mouse is not just a Cartoon on paper he actually walks around, actually owns the Disney company as CEO and owner and former Heir taking over after after Walt Disney died and even has the titling of Walt Disney's son, every other character is the exact same the population as of 2024 in their reality is upwards of 3 million Disney Toons, each one has an on-screen personality just like any actor,

Each one has on-screen lore as a result but they're off screen selves can be just as twisted as on-screen,

Post 2024 Pete the Cat who was reanimated after the original was executed, is a very introverted individual who's finding his confidence since everyone's still glaring and treating him like crap, Mickey though offers a hand to keep him from going down the wrong path once more.
