She looked over and saw it was Cody, giving him a soft and warm smile. “What…what was that for? I’m not saying I didn’t like it, because I did…but why did you do it?”

He looked terrible, she thought to herself as she approached him slowly. Saraya knew that this couldn’t have been the most ideal time for Cody, but she also knew that it would help if he had some body to talk to, even if it was an offer that he didn’t accept. Nimble fingers rested on his shoulder before she pulled him into a tight hug. “Hey you... I love you, you know that, right? Everything will be okay. I promise you,” she spoke softly, burying her face in his neck.

As soon as Zahra’s lips touch Cody’s, his eyes widened and he felt his heart begin to speed up. It wasn’t that he wasn’t attracted to her, it was just that he hadn’t expected her to do that. The youngest Rhodes’ didn’t even think the black haired woman was into him like that. Yeah, she had said he was cute before, but he had only thought she was joking around about it.

“What’re doing?” Cody said, pulling back from the kiss. As soon as he said it, he regretted it because he knew it sounded rude, and that’s not what he was trying to be. “It’s not like I didn’t like it, I’m just curious,” he spoke quickly, trying to make his current response sound better.

It had definitely been a bold move, but that was just how Zahra was. She didn't tend to have a filter nor did she hold anything back. The opportunity to plant one on him presented herself and well...she wasn't about to pass it up. The worst that could happen would be that he didn't like it and would perhaps push her away.

And while he didn't physically do such a thing, his first reaction caught her by surprise, and probably stung a bit more than him actually giving her a shove away. "Kissing you?" she offered, chewing on her bottom lip a bit, "Sorry 'bout it. 'Didn't mean to invade your space and shit, I just thought..."

April probably should’ve waited until they actually left the airport to pounce on him, but she was anything but patient. She’d missed him, a lot more than she’d expected, and it was almost impossible to wait when she saw him. It took pretty much all she had to control herself, though it was only to a minimum. Things always seemed easier with her lips on his, so she made it a point to keep him locked to her until she needed to take a breath.

His words were comforting to her, a smile on her lips every time his landed on them. Her arms stayed tight around his neck, her forehead gently resting on his. 

                    “I missed you too. I love you.”
