Cincinnati Entertainment Awards

This year marks some unprecedented achievement! The Pinstripes were nominated for three of this year's CEA's. We ranked among Cincinnati's favorite in World Music, Artist of the Year, and Album of the Year. 

Now the three nominations are each individually are humbling for sure. But the latter two are acclimations that we hold quite dear. Normally, most of the nominations are voted by the public and the winner is selected based on a majority. Artist and Album of the Year are both voted on by a selected panel of Cincinnati musicians, writers, critics, promoters, so on and so forth.

Now this year, like all years, is STIFF competition. But just being nominated feels like a real gland slam. We put in a lot of work. It's nice to know people other than our moms, dads and girlfriends are noticing.

2013 and tumblr is still a thing

Hello lovelies,

It's been almost a year since I've contributed anything on this platform.

I underwent many things this year. Let's hit some bullet points.

-I began dating a wonderful woman who stands by me with my insecurities and my faults. More on this subject to come.

-I have been traveling insufferably with The Pinstripes to try to make something of ourselves. 

-I have hit an incredibly large wall dubbed "writer's block". I have had much difficulty in finding my creativity. more on this later.

-There have been many ups and downs with my employment this year. 2013 looks like it will take me through some kind of employment change. Hopefully sooner than later.

-2012 was a year of limited technology use, although how far can we really get from it? I have discovered reading....books, again. 

-I have seen an explosive interest in motorcycles grow. Before purchasing a bike of my own, I would have called shenanigans on anyone who told me I would be the kind of person to have an unquenchable passion for the two wheeled lifestyle.

-Most of important of all, I have decided that my life needs some kind of greater purpose. I don't know how its going to manifest itself. But I want more of everything. I want to give more of anything.

I have ideas... at least I think I do. I'm going to try to tap into them here and elsewhere. 

The biggest decision that I can make this year; the greatest feat I can tackle; the greatest purpose I can devote the most amount of time to is one simple objective.
