Okay folks, here's the official unveiling of the mystery restored hubcaps. As some of you already figured out, these are 1959, 1960 cadillac eldorado 15" full wheel covers. Each wheel cover had all 12 flippers, and emblems removed. The wheel covers themselves were taken apart into 2 pieces. Any dents or dings were removed. All pieces, including the flippers and emblems were polished meticulously. Then the center part of the wheel covers had all their black lines repainted. The 2 pieces were tack welded back together. The flippers were put back on with new screws, and the emblems were put back in the centers. And here you have it. Pretty much a brand new set again.
