I’m just seeing this now, but this is such a fun question!!!

I wouldn’t say that Rose is so much. At least not mean-spirited ones. Even as a kid she was more the kind of person to draw people together and tried to be kind to those who needed it.

Tina, most likely as a kid! She was a very precocious child — the kind who would get on easily with the older kids — so, yes! Though as an adult this (and other influences in her life) has turned her into being the kind of person who knows just how to get what she wants out of a person.

Ginger, I’d say so to some degree! Earlier versions of her more so. She was more of a troublemaker before I developed her more and she calmed down somewhat, but the Magical World that she is from prides itself on pranks and jokes and the like so I’m sure some of this would have rubbed off on her!

And now my newest girl Theo! (I say girl but really she’s currently 31 in the TTRPG I’m playing her in. XD)

As a child, Theo used to be known as Tera, and Tera was much more of a wild child and she’s always had a strong sense of wrong and right/black and white about her. So I’m sure she would have played pranks and jokes on other kids when she felt that it would have taught them a lesson. Aaand probably played pranks and jokes and such if the mood struck her too. XD But as Theo… she’s much more reserved due to an incident that had her and her family fleeing for their lives. It set things into motion for her that turned her into a much more stoic and reserved individual, so now pranks and jokes are out the window for her.

twenty-first century parties were... interesting, to say the least. whether it was high school or college ragers, the things she’d seen in hollywood media were definitely over-exaggerated. she’d been to speakeasies in the roaring twenties, both of the black and white balls in new york, and the first mardis gras parade in new orleans — it was all better than whatever trash this private nightclub party was that she’d compelled her way into, but the night was young and she needed a drink. there was talk of hunters around the area, thank god for social media, so she has her guard up throughout the night.

leaning against the bar, she’s drinking a glass of scotch on the rocks. her eyes scan the area, searching for her next victim. the pounding of everyone’s heartbeat excited natalia. however, a particular scent drew her in, smelling so sweet and delicious. her tongue trails along her lips, lifting her glass to take a small sip. her hand stops mid-air, however, as the smell of blood became pungent in the air — her blood. she hears a small clattering sound, her eyes darting downward to spy a blood-stained razor several feet away. natalia looks up to find the person’s pair of eyes on her. a low growl resonates from the back of her throat, and in a swift movement, natalia has her pinned against the wall in the outside alley-way. her eyes, so blue. “what are you, a hunter? not a smart move, baby blue. i’d hate to take the life out of such pretty eyes.” her pupils are dilated, sclera blood-red. the veins under her eyes become apparent. “on the other hand, your scent is quite inviting.”

I hope you do not mind me volunteering once again. Should you decide to take her on, this is my character Theodora Howell for a completely homebrewed TTRPG called Mystic Detective!

Theo here tries her best to protect others, but she is fighting a broken system and she knows it. If she were to be turned into a vampire, she would be fearful and conflicted. She’s meant to be helping people, not feeding upon them. She would also hold a certain distaste for the undead because she grew up as a witch that had great respect for the natural cycle of life and death.

Oh my gosh, Zen! Thank you once again for accepting my character as a volunteer! You captured Theo here perfectly and I could see her reacting exactly this way to her newfound condition.

Sadly with how vampirism is in the world Theo is a part of, she would very quickly succumb and become nothing more than a thrall, doing the bidding of the Pyre Lord who controls her.

But, hey. It makes for one heck of a story.

It's hard enough dealing with broken systems as a mortal, but throw in the corruption of being afflicted with vampirism, and lesser folk might just collapse under it.
