Humans love to create icons. They are special to us, revered and adored. Their existence encourages us to ‘reach for the stars’ and ‘be whatever we want to be’. Icons are also often advertised to us as inaccessible - the ‘god tier’ of humans who live lives unimaginably better than ours, just out of reach but ever so close. I want to be the happy medium icon - existing to bring confidence, encouragement and representation whilst still being relatable, honest and surprisingly average.
