Can you please elaborate on the ww2 parallels to real life, both characters and events?

Erwin is based on Erwin Rommel (source is unfortunately German, because the English wiki doesn’t feature it, but you can find it under the part “Inspiration” where it says that Erwin is modeled after Rommel and Rommel’s death day is Erwin’s birthday) Rommel was a real life Nazi. 

Pixis is modeled after Akiyama Yoshifuru, who was a high ranked military man before WW2 (misinformation on my side here, I thought he was actually involved in WW2, but it doesn’t make things better tbh). 

As for the events the most obvious one is the Eldian Ghettos and the armbands. 

Also the position of Paradis Island and the part it plays: 

“Madagascar was also briefly considered as the solution to the Jewish Question by the government of Nazi Germany who openly floated deporting Europe's Jewish population to the island in 1940. This scheme known as the Madagascar Plan never came to fruition for a variety of reasons.” [x]

Not to mention the whole thing about blood and superior races. I mean, those are more often a topic in Japanese culture than in many western ones, but the link here is still very icky. 

Considering that Isayama has stated more than once that grey morality and not knowing who is right or wrong is a huge aspect of the manga he literally picked the worst scenario to put this moral understanding into.

I know there is still A LOT more going on but these are just the most obvious ones I could remember from the top of my head rn.

I hate encountering toxic sheith shippers, bc until season 8 came out, they would literally fucking rant about their "gay sinful babies uwu" and I think I only met one shipper ever of that ship, and they only did it moderately, like everyone should, and while there may have been a flaw here and there it ended on a good note

Honestly, I had more trouble with toxic Klance shippers than toxic Sheith shippers, because jesus christ, they were annoying as fuck.

That post is quite a few years old now :) (wish tumblr had a timestamp), and people actually spammed his page after they found it. After a while the emails just started to bounce, so I think it broke. Before that, I had found his page previously, and never got any reply through that email, so I don’t think it’s manned, as it were. I tried through his old publicist too, but was told he was no longer with them, though I did find out through some friends on local school boards, that at the time the post went viral he was still active in the local community doing school talks.

Hanji Headcanons

Q: hey chief would u mind posting some headcanons on who hanji likes the most out of the 104th and vets going through each one in order of how layable hanji considers them to be ______________________________________________

ok this has been in my inbox for while (whoops 😅) sorry I got to it so late! **I'm going to do both genders since it wasn't specified!** ALSO I'm not 100% on what you're asking but I think you want different answers for 104th and Vets????

I'm pretty sure Hanji likes Eren the best, even now.

I know Eren has done some wacked up shit these past few chapters, but when they first met, when Eren was first introduced to the original Levi squad, they spent all night talking about titans (Well, Hanji was talking and he was listening).

They've also had more interactions with each other than the rest of the 104th, and as far as I can tell, they've gotten along pretty well. So I think it's safe to assume that they have a good friendship going. You can see evidence of that when Hanji is, well, being Hanji, and Eren is numb to her quirkiness and sees what she's trying tell him/others through it when others sometimes can't.

And I'm pretty sure she's disappointed in Eren right now. I'm not going to spoil the manga, but she (and the remaining SC) are in a tight spot right now and Eren could've prevented it easily. But he didn't.

But yeah, she likes Eren best, mostly because they've had more "bonding" time.

can I please get one order of headcanons with urbosa and link's friendship?

-Urbosa is quick to care for those who she sees as needing it, and that includes Link. She quickly is one of the biggest supports in his life, offering advice like she does when he comes to Nabooris to get Zelda.

-Link, however, is guarded and slow to trust. He’s initially suspicious of how quickly she cares, but after a while, he realizes it doesn’t matter. It makes him happy, it makes him feel safe.

-When the champions are brought together for something, Link often finds himself gravitating toward her, and when she realizes this, she tends to stay close to him to save him the trouble of trying to get close without making it obvious.

-He most often speaks around her, as she makes him feel cared for. She, if only for a moment, treats him as Link. Not the hylian champion, not the one who will defeat Calamity Ganon, just Link. She kept how chatty he could get a secret from the other champions at his request.

-When the champions set off for their beasts, they shared a quick hug before she was off. He could feel her warmth radiating through him as he protected Zelda, even beneath the heavy pain.

-When he sees Riju in the Thunder Helm, he doesn’t know why there are tears in his eyes. When he sees Urbosa, he doesn’t understand why he breaks down crying. He doesn’t understand why her hug means so much, but he clings as long as he can before she sends him away.
