I just got home from a wedding where they handed out joints at the bar and the bride walked down the aisle to a piano cover of Gangster's Paradise and it was beautiful.

Witchy stories(or well just instances where i have done my wiccan thing and experienced the supernatural)
So, I am wiccan, something a lot of my family doesn't quite necessarily accept but they don't question it.
I have an altar with my candles, incense, and matches. (I prefer to use this method of fire because I just like the feel) my tarot card chill there along with a grimoire, some pretty stones, a wand and a pendulum.
Overview done.
Now, I have a friend who isn't wiccan but still believes in the supernatural world around us. She lives with her mom and a cat who is declawed. (This will be important later on). About march two years ago, she came to me with an issue she was having because she knew I'd listen, most likely believe here, and know what to do to help. She was right about most of it anyways, so she told me about suspecting that a demon has latched itself to her.
Scary right? I mean a friend who I care about out of the blue says, quite casually might I add, that she believes a demon has decided to enter her home and has been messing with her ever since.
Proof she gave me was hand shaped burns on her upper arms and stomach, and raking claw marks on her back. Not deep enough to need stitches but they were bleeding. Like an animal had attacked her. Not only is her cat declawed but the claw marks were too widespread, and they seemed to start from the farthest points and drag inwards. There were five total.
She would spot glowing eyes of reddish orange staring at her from her window, and see him appearing in her doorway as a shadow figure.
On days he would show up her mother had unexpected surges of anger, but as soon as she exited the room my friend was in she seemed not to remember snapping at her.
I gave her some talismans to see if they would help, a silver necklace and some sea salt and blessed moon water. My mom always told me that silver keeps evil at bay, and salt and blessed water can protect people from almost any kind of malevolent ethereal beings. I gave her those at first mostly to buy time because I've never dealt with any such thing before, and I wanted to do my research right.
I did a bit of research and one way to banish any unwanted energies or ethereal beings from a place was to do a cleansing. I would have had to do it for her because she was so angry at this thing for messing with her that she would never have been able to do it. Unfortunately, her mother confescated the sage bundle I gave to her to keep at her house which was my only one, saying she will not have any witchery in her home. I have to come up with something else.
I decided to take what research I had and work on a spell of my own creation, one meant to protect and banish evil. Risky really, but I didn't want to do anything that could possibly get her in trouble for doing witchy things.
In the midst of planning for days, might I add, we were in our teachers class and saw and apparition. Well, more of a vagure shadow of a little girl and a wolf, with an extreme energy coming from them. The energy wasn't malevolent or ill meaning, but we were cautious. My friend reached out to the little girl and got the name of Lilyflower. Her english name was Lily Brooks and she was one of the native american girls who were forced into americanizing themselves.
Her wolf friend was named DEOS. Which means countable or uncountable, depending on how its used. She explained that he was her spirit guide and that he led her to us. Which is weird. She said that she's been attached to our teacher since he was born because he was a reincarnation of her father and the only familiar thing she could find.
We still converse with her to this day, she's mischeivous and likes to hide things on people. It's become a thing where if either me or my friend have lost something abd absolutely cannot find it anywhere we take that as a sign that Lily wants company and so we give her that, a while later the thing usually appears in a spot we checked like five times and didn't find.
Anyways, my friend and I start using a Ouija board at lunchtime to talk to Lily, she almost always commandeers it, she loves to give longwinded answers, and we feel the energy pull everytime she does. One time she told us she was scared, and when we asked why she spelled out my friends name. Of course we forgot about her demon issue because the necklace has been keeping him at bay, he can no longer get past her doorway because she sprinkles salt across it before bed every night. And he didn't bother her window either because she tossed salt and blessed water outside of it too. We had at the time no idea why Lily would be scared of her.
Until we asked and she just said no.
Me: No, you don't want to talk about it, or no it isn't her?
Lily spelled out one word : her.
So if it wasn't my friend, why had she spelled her name?
When asked she said: not her, him.
That's when it clicked, the demon.
Me: do you know him?
Her: yes
Me: what is his name?
Three letters, B-O-D, I'm not sure if it was an abbreviation, or if it was just the full name but now we had a piece of the puzzle. The demon tormenting my friend went by the name of Bod. I could not for the life of me find any mention of any known demon online with that name. So, I just had to assume that he must be a lesser demon, so much lesser that he wasn't even known to anyone.
Of course Lily refused to talk more about it and opted to say goodbye to us.
That should have been the end of it, but nope, Bod clearly had differing ideas.
He must have taken control because the planchet(i never know if im spelling that right) moved right to the word Hello, then kept going to spell my friend's name. At the same time I could feel hands clamping down on my shoulders and a sense of malevolence behind me. The hands felt so real and my friend even said she saw my sweatshirt indent with it. The hands were hot and threatening to burn me. It was clear that I had also made it onto his radar. Most likely with my interference with my friend.
We allowed him to stay for a bit, mostly because everytime we went to say goodbye he resisted us. He was definitely not having any of our avoidance.
He barely answered any questions we threw at him and was content to just watch us. I began to become confused. He's a demon, simply holding us there and not harming either one of us, but then he must have been feeding off of our fear of him.
Eventually, we managed to say goodbye but he still held onto my shoulders. Focusing as best as possible I forced a sheild to throw itself outwards from my soul and push him away, encasing both my friend and I to make sure he stayed away. I can't describe the action as anything more than putting us in a bubble. Be skeptical if you want, this happened okay, I forced my energy out and encased myself and a friend in a bubble of protection. I kept that bubble up all day and eventually got tired and quit.
My friend never had issues from that demon again after that, though I can sometimes still sense him lingering near. I keep my house protected though, so he has no way of getting in and messing with me or my loved ones.
So yeah. I fought off a demon, well more like gave him a metaphysical shove and scared him off a bit.
Believe the story or not, it happened.
