I like people defending artists from AI and everything but I've had clients come with ai generated images that make my work a lot easier bc it's already half made, and then I've had other clients asking me if I charge less if they let me create the composition from scratch instead of using AI for the idea, as if making art for them is magically enjoyable for me. It's not. It's literally my job and nothing else. I hate illustrating stuff I'm not interested in and I wouldn't be wasting time with it if I didn't need money. I have my own art projects. The only thing I complain about AI art is the fact that they replace me using my work to train them but don't give me 1 money, which is absolutely the expected coming from this fucking system. I hate capitalism, and I hope that if the world becomes habitable sometime and we all can spend our living time doing what we love, people that need boring uncreative tedious artworks can go to a machine and leave artists alone.
