This is gonna be extra dumb, but what if Ibara went to make dinner for Nagisa and couldn't find them. Ibara wanders around the school and finds Nagisa being fed sweets by Mayoi in the club room. Enraged that Mayoi has ruined Nagisa's appetite, Ibara starts tossing more rat bots into the vents and walls. Mayoi in turn braids Nagisa's hair while giggling and staring at Ibara.
