Mitski I am so stoned and crying
#so i’m trying to learn spanish right#i just want to understand a language and it seems like a good one because there are so many common words with english#the pronunciation isn’t wildly complicated and there’s a lot of media and i find it interesting#but what i guess i was lacking was.. motivation. an end goal other than getting a CEFR score#i saw that one of the biggest tips to help learn a language is to fall in love with something in your target language#and i’ve been trying to figure out what that is for me#then i find myself watching highlights from the olympics and i see rafael nadal#and i think oh.. my god. i am an idiot#who’s someone i love that speaks spanish? RAFAEL. NADAL.#there have got to be SO many interviews where he speaks spanish right? the answer has been here this whole time#i don’t know if i will comprehend what he is saying but i have GOT to find out#personal
