Oh gosh.

From media, it'd have to be Hiccup Haddock of How to Train Your Dragon (only when he's an adult tho). I absolutely adore httyd: race to the edge, it was actually one of my first whump awakenings when I was a kid, far before I even knew what whump was. Every time he got kidnapped by the dragon hunters I got what I now know is whumpterflies, and I just attributed it as "wanting to go on an adventure" or "wanting to be him" lol

Then my favorite whumpee OC is Stan, pictured here. He has a bum knee and he can channel magic through his cane. He was one of my first OCs ever, actually. I have so much art of him lol, I'll be posting more of him and the rest of my OCs when I'm not so busy bc I love them all dearly
