First off, if this is one of my Umbrella Academy mutuals trying to sus out my Masked Author submission, YOU'RE TOO LATE! MWAHAHAH!* I HAVE MOVED ON AND MY CURRENT WIP IS A LEGION ONE INSTEAD!

Which is good news if you're the same anon who called out one of my Legion fics as my Most Memorable Scene in another recent ask. And there's a not-zero chance you actually contributed to the birth of this one, anyway:

"😇Describe the plot of your story as if you’re explaining it to a beloved elderly family member."

This is pretty easy, as it's probably the same way I'd describe it to ANYBODY:

"There's this show I like that's kind of surreal,** so I'm writing a story where all the characters are trapped in The Wizard of Oz. Like, they basically have to reenact the story before they can get home again." A beloved elderly family member can totally wrap their head around that!

"🤔Describe a plot point you want to incorporate in your WIP but haven’t figured out how yet"

The defeat of the Wicked Witch of the West. First of all, it has to somehow evoke the original water-throwing "I'm melting, MELTING!" defeat while thematically fitting in with Legion. Although that is a pretty Legiony aesthetic at least. Second of all, the Witch is Lenny, and the real bad guy is the Shadow King, and I want to ultimately RESCUE HER from SK's control instead of just killing them both off together. The Devil with Yellow Eyes totally does look like he's "melting, MELTING!" though, so that's a start.

Also, I want the Blue Meanie Time Eater thingies in as the Flying Monkeys, but not entirely sure how they'd work there.
