Why film updates asking who should play carrie in that man's series? Won't it be his wife? Is she not available?

legitimately made me laugh. um she's probably gonna play her mom. iirc, the mom is vital to the story? (ive never seen carrie i just know shes an icon).

kate siegel is very much the leslie mann of television horror, while christa miller is the leslie mann of situational comedy. if someone knows how to categorize leslie mann, let me know. im sure there was a husband in movies writing his wife's parts in comedies.
