Yet another sleepless night. Scarlett quietly slipped from bed, hoping not wake Zion as she made her way to the bedroom door. Something glowing caught her eye. Stooping down, she scooped up a rock that seemed to glow. It looked like.....glancing up at her ceiling, it reminded her of the stars Zion had painted for her that glowed as if they were real. But that was impossible. This was just paint. As she glanced back down at the rock, she could see the glow was already fading from it. So strange.  @themysticalartists

“Okay, but like – what paint works for glass? Is it acrylic or one of those things? Because none of the bottles say glass and I really, really need glass paint. Tell me you know what I’m talking about.”

The way the clerk merely stared at her, chewing bubblegum with her mouth open in the most disgusting manner possible (oh but she cringed), merely shook her head and pointed back down the way. “Art thingies in the back. That’s all we got.” And apparently, that’s all the instruction Jackie would get as the other turned around and went back to her magazine.

“Excuse – don’t you have like – product knowledge of these things?” By the way the volume from the girl’s headphones went up significantly louder – Jackie had to presume she didn’t care.

“Fucking –“ A short growl later and she was stomping back to the art section with a huff. Whatever, this couldn’t be this hard right? She could do it on her own, yeah!

Besides, did she really want to take advise from someone who called literally the entire selection of art in their store by something as insignificant as ‘thingy’?

C’mon, just a peek? ❜      Ah, yes, Keikoto─ second oldest, flirted with literally      everyone. Barasuishou would usually just look at the      thing without prompt, but with her little sister involved,      everything could get weird fast, and that wasn’t a risk      she really wanted to take. But, it seemed like she had      no say in the matter, because she got grabbed as she      tried to exit the room and dragged back to glance at it.      Keikoto got... too excited, and Bara unfortunately found      her face pancaked onto the glass. Fun, fun. Fun until      her head went through it, Keikoto fell back and squawked      in surprise, and the exasperated eldest found herself staring      into an unfamiliar territory. Oh. The mirror... became a portal.      Sometimes, being magical was a chore. She turned to stare      empty-eyed at the nearest person, gaze probably piercing hard.      Only her head was sticking out of... the glass? She didn’t know.           ❛ . . . Ah. ❜

Light returns to Zion with plenty of time to spare. Zion’s suggestion to take a carriage ride to the next time went well with her. As she stops next to him, she looks towards the direction of the next town. A content smile forms on her face, wondering what lies in store.

Yet...hearing Zion cough turns her carefree mood into one for concern. Her worry for Zion only grew as he avoids eye contact with her, something unusual for him to do.

Light turns to face him, moving her hair away from her face and gets eye level with Zion.

“That was a cough just now. Didn’t sound to good either too. Zion are you ok? Up till now you have really been pushing yourself for my sake. If something is the matter, you can tell me. Also at least acknowledge me as I talk with you. Avoiding eye contact with me while talking kinda hurts my feelings, makes me feel that I did something wrong.”

Rie giggled ever so lightly as she moved over from where she was lying down, patting the free space next to her gently.

“Alright then, come warm up the bed with me then.I’ll be sure to hold you tight until you fall asleep.” She smiles warmly. While other girls might be embarrassed to share a bed with that of the opposite sex even if the other person was their boyfriend, Rie wasn’t really a bashful one. A hand reaches out towards him as if beckoning him to come closer. “C’mon, don’t be shy.”
