Themis is no stranger to bizarre concepts and various creations. Whether it be flying fish, barking lizards, or birds that could breathe underwater, he'd been subject to witnessing ( and sometimes scrutinizing ) the designs of other people. As far as he was aware, however, people of this star weren't capable of creating creatures from the confines of their minds. They could not will to life objects and animals like the people of Etheirys. So it stood to reason that the rock formation turned creature that levitated a distance from him admiring a patch of flowers was not the creation of someone, but rather a being possessed of it's own intelligence and will.

Fascinating, is the only thing that comes to mind as he proceeds to its side and plucks one of the flowers that he assumes was being admired and turns to offer it to her. "They're free to take, I hear. If you had a mind to gather a few, I'd say now would be the best time before they're completely buried in snow for the coming months." But enough chitchat and beating around the bush, Themis begins with his true query. "…Forgive me if this is impolite, but what species do you belong to?"
