Kid Icarus World Building; The World At War
The War
Before the events of Kid Icarus, the land of Angels was ruled over by two twin goddesses. Palutena, the Goddess of Light, Flight, Magic, Wisdom, and Good harvest, beloved by humanity. And Medusa, the Goddess of Darkness, retribution, adversity, distrusted and unliked by humanity. The two were equally powered opposites, each with wings and might that they could match blow for blow.
While both were strong in their own rights, their combined powers would bring into existence angels, their warriors, their helpers, their children. Half of all angels born went to Palutena, the ones born with pastel and white wings, matching that of a Goddess of Light’s army. Medusa took to those who’s wings matched her’s, darker shades to black. Were Palutena to try and make angels, she would only produce Centurions; strong and unwaveringly loyal, yet fragile and brainless. Medusa’s were equally problematic; their bodies were frail, but they carried strong independent thought, and could speak their minds with great flourish.
Palutena viewed humans as those under her, with an affection like that of little children who need to be watched, coddled, and protected. She showered humanity with gifts of good harvest and fortune. Temples dedicated to her honor were kept well, with constant tendence and frequent offerings. Gifts of gold, wines, and food. Her angels meanwhile, she tended to toy around with and make jests at, though she did care for them.
Medusa’s view of humans was intermediate, keeping purposefully neutral as much as she could. As the goddess of adversity, it was her job to cause humanity distress. If they were distressed, they would be more prepared for anything that a god couldn’t immediately attend to. After all, if all of a human’s needs and wants were taken care of, that led to complacency, laziness, and ineptitude when they needed to act. Few temples were ever made in her honor, with only minimal tendence, save for the few dedicated priests and priestesses. Some came to ask for leniency, others came in search of help to get retribution. The few offering she got over time were appreciated, with small influxes during festivals. Her treatment of her angels was different from Palutena’s, as she showed her’s a surprising amount of respect and thought. Medusa listened to their words, took their advice to heart, and gave them time to inquire. She was able to pull off the roles of a mother, mother figure, and that of a leader to her angels.
Over the years, the opposing actions between the goddesses began to cause disagreements to come up. Palutena would accuse Medusa of overstepping her boundaries, and harming humanity unnecessarily. Meanwhile, Medusa would retaliate with bringing up how Palutena would shower humanity so much, that her actions had to worsen to make balance (“Humans must know hardship to know ease", she would say, “If they grow too accustomed to gifts, they’ll be but spoilt children who cannot help themselves.”).
After decades, and centuries, Palutena devised a plan to strike down the goddess she saw as a threat than needed to be dealt with. She saw herself as in the right to plan her fellow goddess’ sentence. Under the guise of peace, she’d offer Medusa a poisoned wine while her guards were away, partaking in a festivity of angelkind and humanity. When she was alone, Palutena struck her across the face, impacting her curse on Medusa. The incantations that followed destroyed her wings as snakes erupted from her skull and her skin became covered in scales. With her damaged, Palutena sent Medusa down to the Underworld with intent to keep her there for eternity, to protect humanity from adversity. Her angels inquired on the status of their goddess, before being, too, cast down from the heavens to the world under earth.
On first landing in the Underworld, Medusa was confused and pained due to the curse, and loss of her wings. By the time she was aware of her surroundings, she could see as angels fell from the skies to the dirt around her. None survived their falls from the heavens, all’s wings damaged beyond repair. She mourned every angel, every child that was lost. With retribution in order (no being, human nor goddess, living nor dead, was above the consequences of their actions), Medusa spent a year collecting troops of monsters from the Underworld. She found herself a few allies, in that of Hewdraw, Pandora, and Thanatos. They obeyed her, from fear and respect. She didn’t question why none of the Underworld’s rulers came to stop her or the rising army.
Retribution raged in her as she broke free of the Underworld, slipping up to Angel Land and taking out all of Palutena’s own angels. Those that they’d made together, those Palutena had attempted alone, or had lived their lives and reproduced. All were petrified, most were broken, and 1 was caught and dragged to the Underworld when he tried to escape on wings too tiny to ever fly on their own. Medusa would have him as her final act against Palutena.
She struck down Palutena, leaving her unconscious before inflicting her own curse upon the goddess of light. Medusa damaged Palutena's ability to gift the Power of Flight. Any who she used it on would be struck with the same curse; a damaged blessing, that only Medusa could revoke or prevent. Any struck with the curse will burn their wings irreversibly if they use it for more than a mere 5 minutes, regardless of who gave them the Power of Flight after getting it from Palutena. The Goddess of Flight could only cause any more angels the pain that Medusa suffered.
As the standing ruler of Angel Land, Medusa began to make moves to take over the rest of it, spreading her armies. She wasn’t aware of the tiny angel’s escape until Twinbellow’s fell.
The Chaos
Where were all of the other gods, as a war was waged between the Underworld and heavens? Preparing, and facing down the Chaos Kin.
The first goddess to notice the Chaos Kin’s approach on the world was Viridi, followed by Persephone. They came together and began their observations, reaching out to the other gods for help with the inevitable threat. None knew what it was, but Viridi, as a goddess of balance over forces, could tell it was on a scale the gods could only dream of.
Viridi called upon Arlon and Hephaestus, for design and building respectively. Dionysus was asked to help with the creation of drinks they would need for endurance against the Chaos Kin. Persephone made contact with her two husbands, Plouton and Hades, who gave Hephaestus access to all of the earth’s wealth and materials he would need to construct the Lunar Sanctum; the prison where they would keep the thing for eternity, without a way to keep it to it’s own realm. At least they could observe it within the prison. An attempt was made for other gods to join, such as Zeus and Poseidon, but their jobs had to be fulfilled, or there could just not be a world to save from the Chaos Kin. Many other minor gods came to the table as well, offering their help and abilities where needed.
Of all the Gods, Viridi was sure to not call upon Palutena nor Medusa, putting down a gut feeling that something was going to happen. She was unfortunately right, as Medusa was struck down, but there were more pressing matters with all of the god’s attention. All of the gods who were present were aware of the war between Palutena and Medusa that did erupt. Because of this war, they were not going to involve warring goddess in such a delicate matter. Every god swore by the River Styx; they would never mention the Chaos Kin to Palutena or Medusa, it’s power, or what they’d done, unless Palutena or Medusa were made aware of its existence without their intervention. They could talk of the Lunar Sanctum, of the prison, but not the prisoner.
When the time came to face down the Chaos Kin, it was faced with Viridi, her right hand Phosphora (who, in the absence of Zeus, was given his lightning bolt to weild in the battle), Hades, Plouton, and Persephone. Too many gods would cause chaos on the battlefield. Dionysus, who gave each an his endurance elixir before leaving prior to the tearing in space. All of the involved Minor gods were around the area, standing ready. Aphrodite’s 4 angelic gods took daily turns keeping up moral and being ready to retreat and give the signal to Arlon if both failsafes failed. Arlon and Hephaestus were at the ready; Arlon in the Lunar Sanctum, to prepare as the final precaution (IE nuke the land with Reset Bombs and lazers), and Hephaestus to cage the demon once allowed into the field.
When the tear in space was made, Viridi and Persephone created a bubble in order to contain the thing in the field. Both helped from behind their own smaller barriers as they kept the battle contained. The battle was waged for 4 months straight, all the gods running on that single elixir. Time flew by as they battled it out.
The Chaos Kin itself fought in a bizarre way, changing its form constantly. Each form was like it’s own being that needed to be fought. When all other forms were exhausted, it reverted to it’s true, base form, that moved like greased ice and went for killing blows. It can only recover it’s other forms in the Chaos Vortex after consuming ludicrous amounts of energy over centuries, making it most likely to attack and stay to base form.
The first to falter as the elixir began to wear out, was Plouton, and the Chaos Kin was aware of this. With an opening, it went for the weakest among the group. Hades managed to charge the leaping abomination, pinning it while it dung it’s hook into his chest to get at the god’s soul, the hook covered in the Chaos Kin’s blood for the strike. The position was enough for Plouton to finally envelope the creature in copper, removing it from Hades’ chest for Phosphora electrocute it until it stopped ripping the metal. Viridi and Persephone dropped the barrier. Hephaestus rushed with the cage, bringing the Chaos Kin to Arlon, finally imprisoned.
Once the Chaos Kin was sealed, and the dust settled, all the involved gods became aware of the full extent of the war they’d ignored. Medusa was dead, Palutena’s abilities had been damaged, and almost all of angelkind was extinct. Palutena told of how she struck down Medusa for overstepping her boundaries as a goddess, and how the other had sent her army of angels to attack Palutena’s. Both’s armies were eliminated, and Medusa had caused all of the worldly damage. Palutena seemed angered about the matter, and began to inquire why none of the other gods had come when Medusa attacked. None had anything to say, with Palutena leaving somberly to go repair her realm with her sole surviving angel and her Centurions.
The Consequence
Contact with the Chaos Kin is not without any kind of consequence of course, not even gods are immune to it’s influence. The Underworld’s rulers would eventually learn this fact too late.
After the Chaos Kin was defeated, the Underworld Trio returned to their realm to recover, and sort through the souls that the gods of death who served under them were trying to sort. Hades was given the most time to himself, due to the injury he’d endured from the Chaos Kin. While it healed, the event left him fatigued for 3 months, leaving Plouton and Persephone to handle his work, and their own, still getting back to power after the battle. Dionysus could not offer more elixir, due to the materials required, leaving the gods to their own devices.
When Hades did return, he was not the same. Still snarky and witty, cracking jokes and making jests, giving his husband and wife the usual nicknames, but his humor became more twisted. He would joke about eating souls in a serious tone. He brought up chaotic ideas; ruling the world, the earth and heavens. The two noticed the behavior change, as well as the slow shift in his appearance. From skin coloration, to the claws that grew, the emerging marks, and the odd glow around him.
When 2 years passed, Hades acted against his fellow rulers when their backs were turned, sealing them away deep within his brain in comatose states. He began to make plots to reign over the earth. He found Medusa’s spirit wandering the Underworld, holding onto it with the other spirits of the goddess’ army. Without anyone to stop him, he consumed the souls of humans that came to him. He experimented, learning he could force monsters to exist without waiting for them to form from residual emotions. He could make them any number of awful, twisted ways and forms.
And thus, he began to build his army, rebuilding Medusa’s, as he schemed behind the scenes, no longer the same god as long before.

Boktai Headcanons; Solar & Lunar Biological and Other Things
=Solar=
- Immune to sunstroke and do not get vertigo at great heights
- Bodies are easily adjusted to low-oxygen areas (Down to 12.5%, as low as 10% if they've specially trained), able to survive and function without excessive strain (Air is considered "oxygen deficient" for humans at 19.5% oxygen, for reference). This also means they can last longer under water on one breath.
- Solars tend to have an internal body temperature of 105°F-107°F. When Solar Children get a fever, their bodies will burn and expel heat at an unhealthy rate and number. By 110°F, they are considered feverish, with their fevers reaching up to 140°F on really bad days, and burn things.
- Resistant to Undeadening by burning Dark Matter on contact/infection. Keeps it out of the mind and soul, preventing Undeadening. Can resist low-rank Vampire Blood, but still can be turned.
- Susceptible to [Seasonal Affective Disorder / Seasonal Depression] if they go too long without sunlight exposure. Solar Stations do not help, but ENE-Restoring Fruit will help a little; they are not a long-term solution, however. At longest, a full-blood Solar Child can last for 5 days without any kind of sun exposure. Repeated time without can lead to long-term mental health issues.
- Their gene for Color Vision will dominate any other color vision genes, preventing any form of colorblindness. Solar Children need to be able to distinguish colors easily, especially with the variation in Undead.
- Eyes cannot be light-blinded, allowing them to stare directly at the sun and Piledriver. They have average night vision meanwhile.
=Lunar=
- High resistance to AIR temperature extremes of heat (Easily up to 1200F, and higher) and cold (Down to -90F, and lower). They can still be burned by touching magma, or get hypothermia if dropped into freezing water.
- Lunar Children do not handle massive amounts of internal or direct heat. Air temperature is anything goes. Fevers tends to become very lethal in infants if not tended to. Normal temperatures are from 94°-96°F. 97.1°F and above is considered feverish.
- Resistant to Undeadening by Dark Matter/etc. staying at body level, keeping it from infecting and altering the mind, or getting into their souls. King rank Immortals and around that level will turn Lunars.
- Can handle 1/2 the amount of sunlight a human can, being very susceptible to sunstroke.
- Possess very strong night vision. Moon Beauties can, with time, gain a sort of heat vision in pitch-black conditions. Easily blinded by sudden and bright lights. Rapid changes between light levels will cause dizziness and headaches.

Pokemon Headcanon: Poison Immunity
- Humans can gain an immunity to poisons from a evolutionary line by slowly exposing themselves to it over time. Typically, the first form is the best to start with, as they have the weakest verion of the poison. (EX.: Having a Zubat that nibbles sometimes, aclimating, and growing resistant as it evolves. The bond will help it become a Crobat as well, with the added bonding time.) - Time spent with the Pokemon while poisoned and overcoming the Poison will greatly strengthen bonds. - Of course, it's not advised to just start poisoning yourself, but people do it anyway. There was even a trend for a while online, where Trainers would catch wild Poison-Types, and get poisoned just to see how long they'd last. It usually does not end well. - Most Poison Specialists gain this immunity easily by proxy of their Pokemon. Poison Masters, meanwhile, are immune to all Pokemon Poisons by nature of them being Masters. - Some Trainers who start in areas with a lot of Poison Types will be purposefully made immune at a young age, for protection’s sake. Though with the advent of Antidotes, a cure-all for poisoning, this has largely fallen out of practice.

Boktai Headcanons; Vampire Clans
- Clans are formed for a number of reasons, varying from clan to clan. Some are to increase power as a whole to further goals, others of lower rungs do it for safety in numbers. - A group of Vampire/Immortals is considered a Clan when there is, at minimum, 3 members. There is always a leader who has power greater than the others of the group, be it through magic, might, or incredible skills that make them unopposable. - Clans can be made with just a word and promise in it's least binding form, or as powerful as magical ties to one another's souls. The connection of the clan varies with the goals. - The Death Clan was formed with various goals in each member; The Count was bored, sent to spy on, and then fell for Hel; Carmilla was following her sire; Hel wished to make the Earth itself Undead, needing obedient, decently strong followers. Hel was not considered much in the ways the Queen of Immortals, most other Immortals scoffing at her as a rushed child, and not much more. The Death Clan is, or was, considered just a jest and an attempt to seem formidable. - The Shadow Clan was used as a binding seal nearly 2,000 years before the events of Boktai2, by the 4 brothers of the 4 Elements. The 4 Immortals have a soul tie to one another, wishing to see the world end. - The Demon Clan used to exist in much greater numbers, but due to their imposing, terrible powers and gathered plot, they went to war with the Lunar Children who stepped in to balance out the growing darkness they brought. Both suffered from tremendous casualties, leaving a sole surviving member of the Clan in that of Ratatosk. - Ratatosk took some care to kill as many Lunar Children as he came across due to vengeful rage. He became known among Lunars as "the Scarlet Ratatosk"; some liked to say his hair was the result of him consuming Lunar blood constantly. After a century, he began to gather a small clan under the Demon Clan name, refurbishing the plans to revive Vanargand. Sabata was just the perfect opportunity, and felt like the perfect vengeance, as the presumed last of the Lunar Children.

Boktai HCs; Kaamos
- Created by an Immortal in the cold northern lands of Kaamos, the curse named after such. It will last for a week at most. (Stated in-game) - Guards the body from sunlight, preventing any kind of absorption of such; great for Immortals, potentially deadly for Solars. - It effects the rain/snow/etc in Undead and Immortal Dungeons, and within a mile wide radius of said Dungeons. - In living beings, aside from stopping magic, it slows the ability of their bodies to absorb nutrients to about half.

Boktai HCs; Arena Areas
- Arena areas are Undead Dungeons, where time and space melt together after a large event from powerful Immortals. The effects of spiking Undeadening from powerful Immortals leaves images in an area. - These areas can be destroyed by going through the arenas (duh). However, they become significantly harder than what actually happened prior. Every defeat of a level of the Arena is permanent, and cannot be accessed afterwards. - Because some areas are so blasphemously difficult later, they can take some time to get to. - Arenas have 4 Ranks; Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Bronze and Gold will carry the sub-Bosses, the things summoned by Immortals. Silver and Platinum have the Immortals, and some do as well have images of the Eternals, if they were a part of a Clan's plan. On defeating the Platinum Rank, the Arena will collapse on itself upon the challenger leaving.

Boktai Headcanons; Spirited, Blessed and Cursed Equipment
- Equipment can be any of these things through specific circumstances, doing different things;
— Spirited; Brought on by the dying’s spirit and feelings going into something as a final touch on the world. These items are filled with the emotions of the dying– their love, their devotion, to someone they cared for on earth. Items of this nature will be a source of comfort for the person carrying the item, giving the wearer a feeling that they’re not alone, or courage in the face of adversity, etc. (EX.: Django’s Crimson Scarf, Sabata’s Moonlight Scarf)
— Blessed; Magically imbued through processes by those with magic, be them witches, smiths, Elemental Beings, or just those putting their Element into something for protection. These can have a little more power in them, as they’re focused or made through ceremonies. (EX.: Terrenial Armors of LK, Eclipse Eye/Goggles in LK)
— Cursed; Brought on through a rage-filled death, or actively trying to keep others away from their equipment by making it only usable to themselves, or by making it a challenge. (EX.: Cursed Gear of LK)
- Curses can be broken/inverted; objects can have the curses broken by requirements being met, or using opposite magic to break it’s jinx.
- Items of these natures will not deteriorate or fall apart to age and wear. They become unburnable, mend their own tears, and do not rot. They retain the shape they were in when they were changed in properties.
- It’s usually in accessory items; scarves, bandanas, goggles, and other non-primary clothes. This is as these tend to have the strongest emotions in them, many as gifts from one to another. This is just what usually happens, it is not always the case, as more normal clothing can gain the properties as well.
- Spirited is most often in accessories. Blessed tend to be to armors and general attire (Coats, Boots, sweaters). Cursed can be anything.

Pokemon Headcanon/World Building; Masters VS Specialists
It’s not very specific on what constitutes a Master and a Specialist, the two seeming interchangeable within the games. But these two are not the same thing.
A Type Specialist is a person who primarily trains 1 Type, but has some that are not in that classification.
Requirements include;
- 1 more than half a Team of a Type (2/3, 3/5), or ½ of a full team as the Type (2/4, or 3/6)
- Actively having mostly 1 Type, with a few outliers (1/3, 2/5).
- Did not achieve Mastery before taking on a Pokemon outside of the one specified Type.
Teams will need to have 1 more than half of a Type to classify as a Specialist.
Examples include;
- Karen of Johto, who chooses to posses a Gengar and Vileplume, instead of a Sneasel and Tyranitar (Note, her ideology includes using favorites over power).
- Cyrus if Sinnoh, with 3 of 5 Pokemon as Dark.
- Volkner and Flint of Sinnoh, when accounting in their Platinum Team. Without the PT team, they are just countable as a slip up.
-  The Stration Trio, because of their Lillipups.
- Some Psychics who also train Ghost Types.
A Type Master is someone training 100% of their Team in a specific Type.
Requirements include;
- All Mono-Typed Team, or team including a Pokemon that will or had the Type in the Evolutionary Line.
- Achieved Mastery
- Can actively handle a situation involving their Type with ease.

Pokemon Theory; The citizens of Ultra Megalopolis, their biology, and the reasoning for their skin tone
Note: This is just what I think so far. Another post will be made if information saying or specifying comes out that says otherwise about the people of Ultra Megalopolis.
- Megalopolis citizens are just like humans in terms of chemical make up, and under sunny circumstances, have the same skin tones. They bleed red, need water, and so on.
- The difference between Megalopolis and earth is that Megalopolis has Beast Boost and general Ultra Space radiation everywhere. Earth does not carry this to a noticeable amount.
- With the sun present, Beast Boost is cancelled out by the UV rays that humans get usually. But without the Sun, Beast Boost rapidly drains the pigments of the skin and mutate another color not found in human biology, rapidly forcing genetic changes that cannot be reversed. This leaves the people Vitamin D deficient, with their skin being more hurt by sun exposure after the mutated color sets in. (This being the reason for the Ultra Recon Squad’s uniforms and eye wear; protection from sunlight) Eyes rapidly lose pigments as well, mutations adjusting the irises along the way.
- The people of Ultra Megalopolis can quickly suffer from sun poisoning if exposed for too long, with extreme blistering happening within minutes during the midday.
- Of the effects of the radiation, oddly enough, a slightly increased life expectancy occurs, so long as an individual can make up for the Vitamin D deficiency.

World-Building/Headcanon; Guns in the Pokemon World
- Guns are HEAVILY regulated in the Pokemon World, usually only being issued to INTERPOL and international organizations. - For normal people, the guns available are heavily specialized and built to not fire actual bullets, but exploding rounds that release dust ground from Type Gems. On exploding, the dust activates and damages whatever is weak to the Type used. It also works for normal effectiveness. - These guns and methods have been used before to attack Type Masters under circumstances where a Master is being controlled Psychically, or otherwise needs to be taken down. - In the wake of the UBs, INTERPOL has armed some of it’s forces with the exploding rounds, along with scanners to determine the best method for attack. With the scanner, the gun auto-loads the appropriate rounds and gives an indicitive symbol and text to say the effective Types. - Police, if they carry any kind of weaponry, will usually just be tasers (at about 1/5th the real-life level tasers use), and even then it’s prefered to just use cannisters full of powders that explode after a set time. - Poke-World Police are all highly trained to try and de-escalate a situation in any way possible before ever drawing a weapon. Tests to be a policemember is very rigorous, with very strict hands on enforcers. Psychics are frequent to ensure truth in cases. - People usually do not purchase weapons. Pokemon battles do the talking usually. - Laws about carrying the guns that fire Type dust rounds are universal, so long as the region is a part of the League.

Pokemon Minor HCs; Kabuto
- Unlike some Fossil Pokemon, these Pokemon in particular are still living to this day. When unevolved, they will often come to very particular and hard to reach beaches to mate and lay eggs. And they can smell if something they don’t like has been there recently. - These Pokemon have blue blood (like their Horseshoe crab origins).

World-Building/Headcanon; The Trial Captains, UBs, and wormholes
All Trial Captains who have a Totem Pokemon and are frequent to be near/bonded with them, are Ultra Space Radiation sensitive. They can feel when something has been torn in space between the world and UltraSpace, because all Totem Pokemon have some form of Beast Boost, which rubs off to the Captains. Not nearly enough for them to be considered "Fallers" to any degree, but enough to be sensitive to when there is an increase, change in space, or a UB's entry.
The response of Captains to these feelings will vary greatly, from simple feelings of fear mentally, to physical responses like vomiting or nose bleeds. It usually varies with bonds to their Totem Pokemon.
The bonds between Captains and their Type makes the impact of a space tear worse on them, the closer they are to a Type. The stronger the bonds to one Type, the closer to the Pokemon, the more radiation that rubs off on them from exposure to their Totem Pokemon, the more they feel disruptions.
The Captain, Mina, would be exempt from this as a whole as she lacks a Totem Pokemon.

Boktai Headcanons; Lunar Children and the Lunar City, Mahoroba
- Lunar Children had the signature appearance of silver eyes, lavender hair, and pale skin. The silver eyes would change color with used elements in Element attacks. They remained silver when using Luna.
- Moon Beauties were rare to appear, usually coming of age in early 30’s if they did, teens being practically unheard of.
- Long term exposure in a day for any Moon Child would result in overheating and fainting depending on how long and how intense the Sun is. They can last roughly half the time a typical human would on a normal day.
- The Lunar Children had decent brains on them, being very aware that their city and all that was in it could be destroyed due to Immortals wanting to awaken Vanargand. As result, they used some very intense magic and seals to create locks that would automatically rebuild the city to how it was when particular triggers were broken. Once Vanargand was resealed in the events of boktai3, the triggers activated, and the city was quickly rebuilt with monsters being pretty much evaporated afterwards.
- There has always been a rather intense rivalry between Solar and Lunar Children. Lunar Children had much focus to magics and seals of powerful forces.
- Lunar Children would be born into one part of Luna’s power, either holding Mercy or Lunacy depending on the phase the moon is in and going into. From the 1st Quarter to the night before the 3rd Quarter, a child will be defaulted to Mercy. From the 3rd Quarter to the night before the 1st Quarter, a child defaults into Lunacy.
- Mercy allows for an ease into the Sol, Flame, and Earth Elements, through the Luna Element proxy. Meanwhile Lunacy allows for an ease into the Dark, Frost, and Cloud Elements, through the Luna Element proxy. Either side must learn to master Luna before they can properly go about using the Elements their side eases into.
- Lunar Children are surprisingly resilient in temperature extremes. The reason is not quite known.
- Mahoroba is a -huge- city, held up by powerful magic. What is shown in Boktai3 is only the southern most portion, which is removed from the majority of the city, but connected through a strange ‘glass walkway’. The entirity of the city, where Lunar Children would live, is roughly the size of New York City. This area is where their history and other workings are kept.
- Midnight Sun and Heaven Fruits were originated on the Moon by Lunar Children, as ways to counter the affects of Undeadening in normal humans and recover the energy of any that needed it. Even Immortals could use these, leading to the theft of them when Lunar Children would give it to humans.
- Weapons of Lunar Children were crafted using 'Lunasteel’, a bit of strange metal found on the moon, only locatable by Lunar Children by sense.

World-Building/Headcanon; The Development of Affection Raising foods and treats
Since Pokeblocks require an actual machine as a whole, odds are they’re more recent in creation. But there’s probably an old form of Blocks, as Feebas had to be discovered to evolve somehow, and Hoenn’s people obviously learned there was some technique to ‘beauty/coolness/etc enhancement’ through proper berry treatments.
Poffins are probably some form of dumpling (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmDUHaKQWRg), like in this video as I have no idea what to call those things otherwise honestly. There could be some kind of dough that is mixed into a berry mix to make it though, as they can only be made in specific places.
PokePuffs were developed with the Kalosian culture as they created many foods and treats over time. It was just normal that they’re make something specifically tailored to Pokemon.
Pokebeans are naturally occurring in Alola, which is why you get those there. You don’t find them in other regions simply because they can’t grow there; there’s just certain conditions that need to be met.

Boktai Headcanons; Solar Children and their Sol Cities
- Solar Children had the signature appearance of golden eyes, bright blonde hair, and dark skin. Eyes were known to glow when they would use the Sol Element actively.
- For some reason or another, Solar Children always had either an intolerance, allergy, or both, to tomatoes and tomato products; and ONLY from tomato. These could kill them.
- Solar Children could use Sol Enchantment by the rough age of 6. By 10, they were expected to show other Sun Magics.
- If a Child was never, at all, able to perform Magic of any kind, even with help, a child would be then be dubbed a "Dead Sun". They are completely random, being simply born incapable, but it never affected the magic of their offspring after them. For them to fight, they would be given Battery-powered Solar Guns.
- All with Solar Blood can use the Pile Driver. But the further outcrossed, the harder is it to use Solar Magic or independently summon the Pile Driver.
- The Solar Children were exceptionally advanced in their technology, with, obviously, all their machines powered with Solar Energies. Solar Stations were used to charge and hold energy for not-so-sunny days and extended periods without the Sun.
- There has always been a rather intense rivalry between Solar and Lunar Children. Solar Children had much focus to scientifics and technological creation, enhancing their own preexisting abilities through mechanical means.
- The Solar Gun, Sol De Vice, and other things were all designs of the Solar Children. The gun was meant to be able to run on either a battery (for no-light to recover with areas to avoid using the user's energy) and the user’s own energy (when recharge was unavailable or battery was damaged). The Sol De Vice was made to give an edge in Non-Dark Element wielding Immortals, as well as kick start Solar Child enchantment earlier. It being a Solar Child device is also why using a Lens with Elementally Enhance it.
- Pre-Existing Solar Child technology that can be found scattered throughout the land will only work in the hands of those with Solar Child blood. To build anything new that allows a non-Solar Children to use it will require tweaking of the design, typically weakening the end product to 75% of the original's capability.
- There were many other designs and devices the Solar Children drew up, but many of those designs are either lost to time, locked away in the Solar Cities, or been stolen and repurposed by the Immortals for use against the Solar Children.
- When the Solar Children fell, the Immortals made use of their enemy’s tools, stealing them away for repurposing another day. This can explain the Solar Gun parts found around in Boktai and Boktai3/Shinbok. They were hidden by Immortals to retrieve later.
- There are multiple Solar Cities that exist. They aimlessly float along without any particular direction.
- The floating cities were built to be able to go on indefinitely, and over any terrain. Some are floating over the ocean, having never seen land, but still ready for an Immortal battle…

World-Building/Headcanon; Pokeballs and Transferring Pokemon
- All Pokeballs are produced at different rates, due to the technology that is required per each ball and materials to make them. - A single Master Ball can take weeks to produce, requiring very strong and rare materials with powerful technology. These are then individually indestructible, un-damageable by regular throwing and battering, needing be taken apart to be destroyed if by hand, or otherwise.
- Pokemon are able to be transferred from an old Pokeball to a newer one. After some time and depending on the model, it may become necessary for a Trainer to transfer their Pokemon. - Pokemon can be transferred at the Pokemon Center from ball to ball, on request from Nurse Joy. By default, if the Trainer chooses to not buy a new ball themselves, the Pokemon will be placed into another standard Pokeball. - Most Trainers will transfer their ace first, before other Pokemon, since they are sent out the most and their balls are more likely to be dented or damaged. Trainers also tend to buy more expensive balls for their best Pokemon (Like Ultra Balls or Luxury Balls).
- All Pokeballs are internally and digitally marked with an ID code to match with a Trainer Card, which is how Pokemon are retrieved in places like Pokemon Centers and not mixed up. - At PokeMarts, Trainers must hand over their IDs so the Balls they obtain will carry their signature. - Pokeballs do not work after failed capture, due to Pokemon breaking the actual ball while resisting. - During Trades between Trainers, the machine is used to rewrite the code in the ball so it is under the Trainer’s ownership.
