#MCM - This is my Beloved and he has always believed in me and supported ME🤪. He sat me down over the weekend to write the vision for our next move. I WILL have a homestead one day. I WILL have some chickens 🐓🐤🥚, ducks 🦆🥚, goats 🐐🥛, bees ��🍯, and a mega garden🍅🥕🥦🥬🌶. Onion Dehydration Time ⠀ I had a bag of onions that I needed to use quickly. Here's an easy way to make your own onion powder. I sliced up 4 trays worth and put them in the dehydrator @ 140 degree. Yes, skin and all! Once they have dried, I'll pulverize them down to a powder. Processing Fresh Garden Herbs ⠀ 🌱Dry Herbs in the Oven🌱 1. Place herb leaves in a thin layer on a cookie sheet or oven safe pan. 2. Place the pan in the oven and turn it on to 180 – 200 degrees 3. It takes 2-4 hours to dry. ⠀ 🌱Dry Herbs in the Dehydrator🌱 1. Place herb leaves in a thin layer on a ventilated trays. 2. Set the temperature between 130-160 degrees 3. It takes 4-6 hours for the herbs to dry. ⠀ 🌱Hang Herbs to Dry🌱 1. Take several branches of herbs and wrap a rubber band, string or tie around the stems. 2. Hang upside down by the stem in a cool dry area. 3. It takes about 1-2 weeks for the herbs to dry. ⠀ 🌱How to Store Dried Herbs🌱 1. We Have Bundles🌿🌿🌿 ⠀ Not hair bundles but herb bundles. Washed and hung my bundles out to sun dry. It's too hot to run the dehydrator indoors.
