CATCH OF THE DAY #42 Last Friday, we had an absolutely insightful session in the space of The Leading Edge – which is by the way an amazing office. Dominic McCarthy, Head of Qualitative Strategy, gave us a brilliant crash course in qualitative research. He showed us a lot of good stuff; approaches, models and cases. One thing he shared with us is the famous Johari Window Model. Whenever I am getting in touch with this model, it’s always a quite simple, but very helpful framework to use. It gives an idea of what people are even able to verbalise. EXPLORING HUMANS.

I'm thinking of disatisfaction as a key to happiness. Every time you discover what you don't like/want, you create a wish. Being happy until it's fulfilled is the challenge to master. Yes, I have absolute faith about dreams. I think we have as tools to create our lives. They're like paint and you're the canvas. Your life is the piece of art you make of it. I realized on my evening walk that a relationship is too difficult and unfulfilling. It's upstreams and I'm tired of not being able to change it. Life is staring at me and I feel like a failure. But I'm not supposed to. I should be happy at all times and what ever brings me down should be worth it. I tried but I failed. We're not in sync. I read a novel this weekend. There's always a message in everything that happens. You just have to figure it out. I think got it this time. It was my story and I needed to get perspective on what I'm experiencing. CHANGE When something is impossible to change it's not my cup of tea. God, I accept that. I got the lesson.
