Her diary had fallen open, catching his eye and exposing her feelings before she had a chance to say them herself. In both instances she had been robbed of the opportunity to do things in a way she was comfortable with, in a way in which she felt like she had control. From now on… every move would be hers. He never wanted to see that fear or uncertainty in her eyes again, never wanted her to be uncomfortable or doubt whatever it was they managed to make this. They would kiss when she was ready, he would ask her to dinner when she was comfortable. He was going to do it right. She was far too important to do it any other way.

Alric Lightsworn

A native to the eternal city of Hydris, Alric Lightsworn is the younger brother of Bjorn. Without either of his parents around, Alric was left to his own devices for most of his early life. Time which he largely spent fighting anyone who insulted him for his lack of parents.

From a young age Alric was a skilled brawler, which made it easy for him to join a jarl's band when he came of age. What might have been an easy life of fighting for gold and glory changed in an instant in his first real battle against the orcs. Reduced to fighting for his life with his fists, he found that they crackled with lightning.

Jarl Haakon, a skilled Spirit mage in his own right, immediately took Alric as an apprentice and taught him how to harness the power of the elements like any Hydrisian mystic. The war magic came easily to his aggressive personality and rumors abounded that he would be the old Haakon's successor.

But fate was not done with him yet. The first full moon after another battle with the orcs left him with a nasty surprise - he had contracted lycanthropy.

He barely had time to find Bjorn before they were both driven from the city by Haakon and his men. Which is where our story begins...

First one is kinda spoilers (late-game raid) for FFXIV but this, also had this one (a banger) on loop since it dropped recently. My taste in music ranges quite a bit tho!

Currently watching:

The year is 2023. Bleach is actively releasing episodes again. (This is a show I kept up with in middle school and one of the many anime that made me want to draw) I have also seen a lot of spoilers for Miraculous s5 and have been trying to get caught up on that with my roommate (struggling through the cringe of s3)

Currently reading:

Reading... I remember when I had time for that... Last manga I read was Yona of the Dawn, last 'book-book' I read was maybe To Sleep In A Sea Of Stars (Chrisopher Paolini), or Iron Widow (Xiran jay Zhao)?

Current obsession:

Animal Crossing New Horizons has me captive yet again, and FFXIV (critically acclaimed MMO with a free trial with no restriction on playtime up to level 60 including the hit expansion Heavensward) has new content tomorrow, so I'll likely fall back into that as well between working on things.

Miraculous Calendar Project - 2024 edition

It’s coming back! Starting August 2023, this blog will be counting the days to release a new Miraculous calendar with art from your favorite fan-artists <3

What is the Miraculous Calendar Project?

It’s a Zine-style project where multiple artists collaborate to create a calendar with a Miraculous theme to give back to the fandom! A digital version will be free to download.

It was created by @thelastpilot in 2017 and has been dormant since 2019 — but now, I ( @akumatizedcamembert) gotten the privilege to take over and host this year!

How can I apply?

Intrest checks, contributor applications and all that jazz will start around August (and don’t worry, posts & reminders will be shared closer to those dates so you won’t forget)
